VB 2010 Error after Win10 upgrade - vb.net

I'm getting the following error on my project since I have upgraded my PC to Windows 10.
Warning 2 Processing COM reference "Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word"
from path "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft
Office\Office12\MSWORD.OLB". Type library importer encountered a
property getter 'Dummy1' on type
'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word._Document' without a valid return type.
The importer will attempt to import this property as a method
instead. License Form All APPs
Can anyone help?

Failure writing debug information: Unable to load DLL 'Microsoft.DiaSymReader.Native.amd64.dll'

I installed a VS2017, tried to develop a first app in VS2017.
File > New Project > Visual Basic > Windows Desktop > Windows Forms App (.NET Framework)
simply tried to run an app with only one label on form, but build error comes up, I clicked on "Yes" then dialogue box appears (image).
Error Code- BC37225
Error Message- Failure writing debug information: Unable to load DLL <br>'Microsoft.DiaSymReader.Native.amd64.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)
Then searched SO, read and tried solutions, but not worked.
What I tried from SO is-
Error while building C# Console Application: Error CS0041 Cannot find a module
(1) installed Microsoft.NETCore.Platforms (nuget package)
(2) installed Microsoft.DiaSymReader.Native.amd64.dll (nuget package)
(3) Unable to load DLL 'Microsoft.DiaSymReader.Native.amd64.dll
in this, solution is available (accepted answer), but I don't know from where to delete these lines of code.
<PropertyGroup>
<Deterministic> true </Deterministic>
</PropertyGroup>
what could be the solution?
When the build errors dialog comes up it asks if you want to run a previous build because the current build will not compile (won't make a new .exe file) Since this is the first run of your program there was no previous build, no .exe. What you need to resolve are the build errors.

How to fix Interop.SHDocVw.dll problem on windows 10?

I am working with an application developed for windows 7 and i m trying to run it on windows 10. This software use both of WatiN.Core.dll and Interop.SHDocVw.dll. The Watin Dll was already in the references of program and the other one I added it after getting an error while debugging the program. The text of exception is:
"Impossible to load the file or the assembly Interop.SHDocVw, Version
= 1.1.0.0, Culture= neutral, PublicKeyToken = "...." or one of their dependencies. The specified file not found "
I am using windows 10 and Microsoft visual studio 2017.
I have put the properties "Incorporate intro type" of Interop.SHDocVw.dll to False, but still i get the same error.
What else can i do to fix this issue ?

solc.exe - Application Error The application was unable to start correctly

Solidity compiler is not working on Win 7 Enterprise (64-bit) SP1.
It was downloaded from https://github.com/ethereum/solidity/releases
Version 0.4.19 (solidity-windows.zip)
solc --version
Error : solc.exe - Application Error
The application was unable to start correctly (0x...). Click OK to close the application.
Content of solidity-windows folder :
<DIR> .
<DIR> ..
440,120 msvcp140.dll
6,201,344 solc.exe
16,123,392 soltest.exe
Seems answer is located here : https://ethereum.stackexchange.com/questions/11081/install-solc-compiler-on-windows-8
So either MS Visual Studio needs to be installed (suggested 2015) or JS script needs to be written (using Node.js solc module)
The remaining concern is that MS Visual Studio is too huge for installation for resolving mentioned issue. Is anyone aware what exact software component(s) from MS Visual Studio are needed? And described solution with JS script returns errors for the contracts which have import statements.
>node compileWithoutInstalledMSStudio -f file1.sol

I cannot add service reference(WCF library) to MVC4 in VS2012

My problem is very simple, but unfortunately I cannot figure out what's wrong. I've created a new MVC4 Internet Application project with Razor syntax, then I added another WCF Library project to this solution. I did not make any change on these codes. However, as I added the WCF project as a service reference in the MVC 4 app, I'm getting 1 Error message and 3 Warning messages:
Error 4 Custom tool error: Failed to generate code for the service
reference 'ServiceReference1'. Please check other error and warning
messages for details. c:\users\vendre\documents\visual studio

I read some article but did not resolved my problem. If somebody know the answer for my problem, please tell me.
THX.
When you add the reference, on advanced setting remove the reuse types checkbox.
If you're experiencing this problem in 2021 with VS2019. Add a folder to the project called "Connected Services"
sometimes you need to create a folder "Service References" in project path. If you dont have this folder it should gives this path error.
If using VS 2019, check if in Solution Explorer you see "Service Reference". Than edit the project file for following
<ItemGroup>
<WCFMetadata Include="Connected Services\" />
</ItemGroup>
In Visual Studio 2019, I fixed the error (system cannot find path specified) by creating a new folder named "Connected Services" inside project folder
In Visual Studio 2022, You need to create a folder "Connected Services" in project path, via Windows Explorer, not Visual studio solution explorer'
You can try the following :
Delete the "Connected Services" folder from the project in Visual Studio
Add the service reference with right-click on the project / Add / Service Reference...
It should work and recreate the "Connected Services" folder with your new service reference.

Fix COM reference: The type library importer could not convert the signature for the member DISPPARAMS.rgvarg

I have a build server where I build a Visual Studio extension. I recently migrated to a different server that and now I get the following warnings:
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\Microsoft.Common.targets(1988,5): warning MSB3305: Processing COM reference "" from path "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\stdole2.tlb". The type library importer could not convert the signature for the member 'DISPPARAMS.rgvarg'.
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\Microsoft.Common.targets(1988,5): warning MSB3305: Processing COM reference "" from path "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\stdole2.tlb". The type library importer could not convert the signature for the member 'DISPPARAMS.rgdispidNamedArgs'.
The primary difference between this new server and the previous server is that the previous server had an Isolated Shell installed (the Microsoft Visual Studio Management Studio). I guess I am missing a server registration, but I have no idea which.
While not an explanation of the problem, this link on MSDN shows how the warning can be suppressed by adding the following item to the PropertyGroup at the top of the .csproj file:
<ResolveComReferenceSilent>True</ResolveComReferenceSilent>
