I have a project which is connected to a mysql database.
When I run the main class it gives me the error:

I have read other answers and my configure.xml is in src/resources like follows:
Also, as you can see in printscreen, I have two errors in my file hibernate.
Can someone tell me whats wrong?
Maybe if you put hibernate.cfg.xml out of resources folder, at main level. Also, you must see your libraries are fine.
If not, must specify a different path
sessionFactory = new AnnotationConfiguration()
.configure("resources/hibernate.cfg.xml").buildSessionFactory();
If you are working in Intellij Idea then make a folder named "resources" under src\main\java. Open Module setting of your project, select "Modules" from left and in the "sources" tab select the newly created "resources" folder and mark it as "Resources".
then this should work
Configuration con = new Configuration().configure("hibernate.cfg.xml");

I'm trying to get pig running on my machine but whenever I try to start pig I get the following error:

at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:606)
at org.apache.hadoop.util.RunJar.run(RunJar.java:221)
This happens whenever I run pig or when I try to execute scripts that should work.
I'm not completely certain what is going on but it looks like I'm likely not including some of the hadoop jars correctly. Has anyone seen a similar issue or know how to include the needed jars?
For reference I'm using Apache Pig version 0.12.0-cdh5.4.9 and Hadoop 2.6.0-cdh5.4.9 and I have these environment variables set:
PIG_HOME=/Users/username/cdh5/pig-0.12.0-cdh5.4.9
PIG_CLASSPATH=/etc/hadoop/conf:/Users/username/cdh5/hadoop-2.6.0-cdh5.4.9/*:/Users/username/cdh5/hadoop-2.6.0-cdh5.4.9/lib/*
Do I need to find the hadoop jars and add those to my path or is there something else I should check.
This ended up being because I was setting CDH_MR2_HOME incorrectly and therefore pig could not find some of the jars it needed.
I have installed Intellij Idea 14.1.1
After setting up by wizard screen on first run then error caught:

there's similar problems found on google, but mine is different from them
i'm using jdk 7
ubuntu 14.04 LTS
Simply deleting:
~/Library/Java/Extensions
(which contains the offending JAI jar) does the job on a Mac.
Relevant issues:
https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-137147
http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-139178
A similar problem on OSX seems to have a root cause of the commonly used JAI extension jar files being somewhat mis-configured with a null vendorName. If you need the JAI extensions for some reason (because, for example, your local GeoServer upgrade re-installs them in ~/Library/Java/Extensions) then a work-around is to create a ~/Library/Preferences/IdeaIC14/idea.vmoptions file that contains ONLY:
-Djava.ext.dirs=/System/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.6.0.jdk/Contents/Home/lib/ext
That seems to override OSX Java 6's default behavior of checking the user's ~/Library/Java/Extensions directory in addition to the system's extensions on application start up.
If you are using some other JRE version/operating system then adjusting those paths or making sure that the Java extension directory that the application that needs JAI is different from the one that IntelliJ uses may help. At worst you might install two JDK/JRE's and give each application a different JAVA_HOME value.

Any idea on how to fix this issue?
I got a similar error in IntelliJ Idea v12 when I removed the exploded war file from the Deployment tab of the Run/Debug Configurations dialog and added the non-exploded war file in its place--while forgetting to set the application context back to what I had it set to previously.
For example, if I had the Application context set to /coolapp, when I removed the exploded war file the context got reset back to /. I added the non-exploded war file and the context remained set to /, but I continued to try to access /coolapp in my browser. That produced a FileNotFoundException when looking for .../META-INF/context.xml, which matches the exception you were seeing at the bottom of your stack trace.
Hope this helps someone in the future!
I am using the Apache HttpClient libs to handle my communication with an API. All of my code compiles and runs without error when I unit test the exploded code. However, when I JAR my source and test the code in a isolated integration test I get this error:

guava-r09.jar
commons-logging-1.1.1.jar
httpclient-4.1.2.jar

gson-1.7.1.jar
Any ideas as to why it is trying to reference JBoss?
The solution I found was to use the zipfileset ant target which safely explodes the contents of the JARchives inside the root of the uber JAR.

Look's pretty straight forward, I don't understand why it won't load. I followed the basic tutorial. I googled for this error message, and was unable to find anything relevant.
Your problem is actually quite clear if you read the stack trace:
Caused by: Bean type class com.opensymphony.xwork2.ObjectFactory with the
name xwork has already been loaded by bean -
jar:file:/C:/workspaces/ulearn/ulearn/target/work/webapp/WEB-INF/lib/struts2-core-2.0.11.2.jar!/struts-default.xml:30:72
- bean -
jar:file:/C:/workspaces/ulearn/ulearn/target/work/webapp/WEB-INF/lib/struts2-core-2.1.8.1.jar!/struts-default.xml:29:72
You have a copy of struts2-core-2.0.11.2.jar and a copy of struts2-core-2.1.8.1.jar in your WEB-INF/lib directories. I think you should only have one of them. Do some cleanup (running a mvn clean might be enough).
PS: I have no idea why you also have stuff coming from C:/workspace/test as show be the first line:
jar:file:/C:/workspaces/test/test/target/work/webapp/WEB-INF/lib/struts2-core-2.1.8.1.jar!/struts-default.xml:29:72
There is definitely something weird and messy with your classpath. I don't have any explanation beyond the one I gave above though.
Agree with the above answer
Check your library and classpath for the above jars and fix them
Sometimes even if the jars are not seen in the IDE, they are present int the build files, So a fix of the classpath and a CLEAN AND BUILD should resolve the problem.
I think struts2-core-2.1.8.1.jar copy or you have included this jar file some where in your webapplication so remove it and continue
Problem: The conflict occurred as 2 files of different versions are being loaded by the web container
Solution: Just go to path
C:/workspaces/ulearn/ulearn/target/work/webapp/WEB-INF/lib/ of your computer and delete the struts2-core-2.0.11.2.jar file and only keep the latest one. If this type of conflict also occurs with some other file then delete that file also
After this no exception will be there.
I have also encountered this problem recently. Clean the cache and rebuild the project is not valid for my error.
I tried to delete the conflicting struts-default.xml file, but I didn't find it and the struts-default.xml file is a read-only file so I can't to modify it.
My final solution is to remove the extra Web* under Project Structure--Modules--MyFirstProject (project name), leaving only one Web and modifying Web Resource Directories as WebRoot.
It works for me! Hope I can help others.
