What I do :
1.I used the opencv-plugin-sample(from the link https://github.com/Kurento/kms-opencv-plugin-sample) and start the kuretoMediaServer
2.In the client side I used js and java,Both works well
3.For js I used the command
cmake .. -DGENERATE_JS_CLIENT_PROJECT=TRUE
npm install grunt grunt-browserify grunt-contrib-clean grunt-jsdoc grunt-npm2bower-sync minifyify
grunt
to generate the js folder and the dist folder
4.For java I used the command
cmake .. -DGENERATE_JAVA_CLIENT_PROJECT=TRUE
make java_install
What I have to do:
1.Now I need to run kurento with android,So I have used the following link https://github.com/apeunit/AppRTC-Kurento-Example
2.In the client side they have used node-js to communicate with KMS
3.Now I am trying to add the opencv sample in the existing code,With reference to the link http://doc-kurento.readthedocs.org/en/stable/mastering/develop_kurento_modules.html#examples ,I changed the package.json file but it shows the error
'kurento-module-opencvpluginsample' is not in the npm registry.
4.When I checked the crowd-detector sample(https://github.com/Kurento/kurento-tutorial-node/tree/master/kurento-crowddetector ) ,module(kurento-module-crowddetector) is present in the node_module folder,For the opencv-sample
Whether I need to add the module(kurento-module-opencvpluginsample) maually?or
Is there any default steps to generate files in the module(kurento-module-opencvpluginsample) folder as done in java and js above?
npm resolves packages by name and version by checking with the npm registry (see this link for more info) What this line
kurento-module-opencvpluginsample' is not in the npm registry.
is telling you, is that it cannot find your module in the npm registry. That's no surprise, as it is only located in your local machine. Please have a look at this SO answer about how to specify local modules as npm deps.

I need the source code of the NPM modules inside the artifactory installation #jfrog folder artifactory-oss-7.7.3/app/frontend/bin/server/dist/node_modules/#jfrog. Checking the package.json files I see the following
,"_resolved": "https://entplus.jfrog.io/artifactory/api/npm/npm-virtual/#jfrog/nodejs-commons/-/#jfrog/nodejs-commons-2.0.2.tgz"
However, when I try to follow the link I get a Forbidden error. I also see references to a git repository:
git.jfrog.info/~odedb/jfrog-artifactory-nodejs-client.git
However, I get a timeout error for accessing. Any clue on how to download these files?
The latest version of Artifactory OSS source code can be downloaded from https://jfrog.com/open-source/.
The direct download link: https://releases.jfrog.io/artifactory/bintray-artifactory/org/artifactory/oss/jfrog-artifactory-oss/[RELEASE]/jfrog-artifactory-oss-[RELEASE]-linux.tar.gz
[RELEASE] is replaced automatically to latest, if you need specific version, pls replace with version number.
I am using Vue 2 (doesn't really matter which version exactly).
I want to test some things that happen behind the hood in Vue. So I decided to add console.log('test123') in Vue's files in node_modules. It turns out that the console log never fires. I put that in all files of Vue in node_modules, even in all files of dist's folder of Vue.
How can I achieve this ? If I fork the repo, then I'd have to upload new versions each time on my repo and then run npm install. I know that will work but wanted to achieve this without forking.
Any ideas what I am missing ?
there are many ways .. but i feel more comfortable using this method :
you can download any npm package in a seperated folder next to your project...
open the folder of the package then run this in the terminal:
npm link
then open the project folder and run
npm link ../package-path # link the dir of your dependency

npm-link
How to test an npm package locally
I am creating an app to work with an API using serverless, and the initial install was ok. One of the folders that the npm serverless install does is auth-server, where two files - handler.js and serverless.yml are created (other than the .gitignore).
A few steps later, I had to install Axios as I will need to make a POST request for the API. Being on the auth-server directory, I ran the usual npm syntax to install Axios, npm install axios. To my surprise, however, npm has not created the package.json (and package-lock.json) file within the auth-server folder but used the root files.
I tried to look around to see if the problem was recurrent, but found nothing. I know that package-json file is created within the directory folder from where npm is executed as I have used axios a few times. Can someone point me where the problem may lie? Thanks in advance.
In case someone else needs this: I found out that although not in all cases, it is not uncommon that the npm will use the package.json file of the root folder. As I needed it inside the auth-server folder, I simply created another package.json file inside it (with a pair of curly brackets on it to avoid a parse error code EJSONPARSE) and saved it. Once I installed Axios one more (npm install axios) the package.json file began to be used and added Axios as a dependency.
I have recently included Angular 2 in my project. After setup, facing issue for namespace webdriver. On Google I found the solution here. But here it is asking to execute below npm command.
npm install #types/selenium-webdriver#2.53.36 --save-dev
Now, I want to know, where I will execute this above command, so that the required files will get included in my project.
Inside the VS IDE, I haven't found any console area like as for nuget, where I execute the command and files get included in project.
Please help.
add a nmp configuration file
add all of the #angular dependencys that you will be needing
add system.config file in the root of the project
add tsconfig.json to the root of the project
add tslint.json to root of project
then add your app.component .module .route and other files.
in system.config.js add your #angular/core and others like
'#angular/core': 'npm:#angular/core#2.1.1/bundles/core.umd.js'
after doing this your can run your project and your _layout page is where you will add all of your <script> and other angular files.
I try to connect to SQL server in golang, I searched in internet and through this address: https://github.com/denisenkom/go-mssqldb I understood that first I need to install a package for the purpose, but when I want to install this package through git terminal by entering this command:
$ go get github.com/denisenkom/go-mssqldb
I receive this error :
can't load package: package github.com/denisenkom/go-mssqldb: no buildable go source files in C:\Go\src\github.com\dnisenkom\go-mssqldb
my $GOPATH is already set.I don't know how to fix this problem ...
According to the golang website:
Get downloads and installs the packages named by the import paths, along with their dependencies.
It sounds like the download isn't working, which is causing the folder to be empty. One alternative is to download the driver as a zip file and run go install on the folder.
