I have created RDLC report in my application and display this report using ReportViewer control configured Locally. It is working fine on localhost but could not work on my hosting server. When i open this page, Authentication is required pop up comes up. Rest of the pages (w/o report) are working fine.
Thanks and Appreciate your help!
It is late but it may help someone I found solution here. It could be port and location issue.

For development, I'm using the integrated weblogic feature in JDeveloper. So far, this has worked fine. I was recently put onto a different project, however, and when I try to deploy it, I'm having trouble. Here are the steps I take:
Run->Debug Server Instance (IntegratedWeblogicServer)
In the Projects, I right-click on Web Content->index.html and select Debug.
According to the log, the applicatoin deploys successfully with the target URL of http://localhost:7101/Myapp-Myapp-context-root/index.html and it then attempts to open the page.
However, this gets me a "This page can't be displayed" in Internet Explorer. No error messages in JDeveloper's log or IE's console. I realize this doesn't give a lot of information to work with, but it's all I've got right now.
One other thing, and I don't know how relevant this is, but if I attempt to refresh the page or enter it into a different browser, it redirects to https://localhost:7102/Myapp-Myapp-context-root/index.html
I figured it out. It switching to a secure port was related, as the finalized product is supposed to do that. Development requires the security-constraint fields in the web.xml to be commented out.
I'm trying to modify the home page and the login screen, trying to remove some images and adding some links but the changes that I am applying doesn't appear to be reflecting. Is there any documentation on how to modify the Pentaho BI Server pages?
Tried the instructions on this thread: http://forums.pentaho.com/showthread.php?153494-Pentaho-CE-5-Customize-Home-Page
apart from the thread you followed for doing changes if you understand JavaScript, Jquery and HTML then you can do modifications in below files according to your need.
biserver-ce\tomcat\webapps\pentaho\mantle\home\index.jsp ---Home Page changes
biserver-ce\tomcat\webapps\pentaho\jsp\PUCLogin.jsp --- Login Page Changes
Just use tapa plugin, avaiable in marketplace, regards
for some reason, the changes will not reflect if I access the BI Server using the localhost url, but if I use the actual IP address of my machine, then I see the changes. Dunno why, but it resolved the issue.
today i decided to have a look at WCF and the example worked so nicely on my localhost that i tried to run in on my server too, so i compiled it with the correct host(tested both,ip and domain) and uploaded it to my server
you can see the sourcecode here:
http://pastebin.com/YiCR0RCf
the problem is,that i can't add the service to my client application, nor can i open the http site in my browser (localhost it worked just fine)
i'm running this on a windows root server and disabled the firewall for this program.
Would be great if you could give me a hint in getting this to work correctly, as i spent the last 2 hours with randomly changing code and uploading the program hoping that it would work now.
Thanks
Ok it was the windows firewall, i completely disabled it(added an exception before, but that didn't help as i know now) and it works.
thanks anyways
My Sitecore Intranet Portal used to work fine, and i haven't done any changes to my site in days, but suddenly when i try to go to my frontpage i will get a blank "Untitled Page" at this location:
"/forms/IntranetLogin.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fDefault.aspx"
Anyone know what could be causing this?
Can you check if you have presentation information on your home item? Also, do you see this "Default page" right on the page with URL you supplied, or you are redirected to another page?
If you haven't made any changes to your content or Sitecore configuration, was there perhaps a Windows Update that fouled things up? Double check that ASP.NET is properly configured and enabled. What version of IIS are you running on?
The problem was caused by our Intranet not being able to connect to the LDAP database (our database with users). Someone changed the password to the database without telling, we changed it now and it works perfectly.
I know I've had this problem when I started working with Silverlight, but I can't for the life of me remember how to fix it.
I created a new RIA service application using the standard tutorial, added a table from the database and added a grid to display the results. Works great. Now I pull open the Web properties and change the web project to "use local IIS Web server". Suddenly the application will load up and give me the friendly "NotFound" error.
Please, someone remind me what I'm missing here.
I ran into this problem recently, and resolved it with help from this post on the silverlight.net forums.
Basically, I had Windows authentication and annonymous access enabled at the same time, and I need to disable windows authentication and restart IIS.
John
Not sure what the missing part is but I always start with Fiddler as will show the messages going across the wire. The actual messages can contains far more useful that the browser is hiding from the Silverlight plugin
