I'm trying to set up the Connection Factory and the Queue for JMS through the GlassFish administration console, but I can't the that option in the list!
Any clue? I'm probably missing something, I'm quite new to GF.
Looks like you haven't installed jms add-on.
At Admin console page under "Update Center" tabs click "Available Add-Ons" check "glassfish-jms" and "glassfish-jms-l10n" options and click "install".
Restart your glassfish server. "JMS Resources" will appear.
It's easier to set up the glassfish xml, and then you can review the results in the console. First, make sure you have your resource adapter deployed under applications. For ActiveMQ, that would be activemq rar that you can find on their website.
Take a look at my question here which has everything you need:

I am trying to setup Unicenta POS on my Windows 10 64 bit machine.
My configuration:
Idempiere server v5.1 (http://127.0.0.1:8080/)
ActiveMQ v5.15.2
(http://127.0.0.1:8161/)
POS Integration plugin (Available
here)
I followed instructions given Here. ActiveMQ is running fine, Unicenta can also send request to ActiveMQ, I can see that in Queues. Idempiere server is also running fine.
I installed POS integration plugin through Felix Web Console. It shows up in the list and It is active. But, that plugin doesn't show up in Idempiere Menu option. Either that plugin has some problems or I am missing something.
I also performed Role Access Update on GardenWorld Client Admin but that didn't change anything. Menu option is still missing.
Please help.
The real issue was that 2Pack did not Pack in into the Database. I had install 2Pack manually and Pack In in my SystemAdmin. After that I logged out and logged in with SuperUser credentials and with GardenAdmin role. And then menu item appeared!

When I go to Glassfish web console localhost 4848 and go to Resources JavaMail and hit the "new" button, I get this error class java.lang.RuntimeException I'm fairly new to Glassfish and am trying to follow the mail tutorials. Can anyone give me some advice on where to start? Thx in advance!!
This is a bug introduced in the GlassFish 4.1.1 release. GlassFish 4.1 should work.
For any one struggling to do this via the Web Console and doesn't want to downgrade, just use the sub-command line option to create the mail session then continue on the web console to add additional properties.
asadmin> create-javamail-resource --mailhost localhost
--mailuser sample --fromaddress sample\#sun\.com mail/MyMailSession
Fortunately I was able to get the email to work. The problem was that they had setup Exchange for an Anonymous user with no security (SMTP not SMTPS). However, I never did get the JavaMail in Glassfish to work. Due to some other reasons, the decision was made to stick with the current version of Glassfish. I did try to go back to 4.1 as noted, but had similar issues in getting JavaMail setup as a Resource. Once I got the basic issue resolved, I abandoned the effort to go back to 4.1, so I'm not sure if that would have changed anything.
Thx
I'm using ActiveMQ 5.10 and would like to create a user that has read-only access through the web console.
Red Hat published this article, mentioning that it's not really read only due to a bug in ActiveMQ.
According to the bug report AMQ-4567, the bug is fixed as of ActiveMQ 5.9. However, I'm not seeing it work appropriately.
I have tried a number of different configurations, with the most recent being two separate JAAS implementations, one for Jetty and one for ActiveMQ. The relevant property files are excerpted below.
I can mostly log in to the web console using the "system" user. But the guest user doesn't work at all. The application user (appuser) doesn't need access to the web console at all.
My authN/authZ needs are pretty trivial: one admin user, one application account, and one read-only monitoring account.
Is there any good way to get this working with a recent version of ActiveMQ (>= 5.9.0)?
groups.properties
admins=system
users=appuser,admin
guests=guest
users.properties
system={password redacted}
appuser=appuser
guest=guest
jetty-realm.properties
system: MD5:46cf1b5451345f5176cd70713e0c9e07,user,admin
guest: guest,guest
As an aside, I used the Jetty tutorial and the Rundeck instructions to figure out the jetty-realm.properties file and chapter 6 of ActiveMQ in Action to work out the ActiveMQ JAAS.
I was finally able to get to what I wanted by deploying the web console to an external Tomcat instance. I assume that when it runs out of process, it can't bypass security and so has to use whatever credentials you provide. In this case, I gave the Tomcat instance the read-only JMX user credentials.
It's not great, as there is no security trimmed UI. You can still attempt to create new destinations, delete destinations, etc. When you try with a read-only user, you get an error. That gets a "D" for UX, but a "B" for security.
Weblogic em console shows "status pending" for the admin servers and managed servers, even though when they are up. It is not showing other metrics as well.
Below are the head error messages.
oracle.sysman.emas.sdk.model.metric.MetricsUnavailableException

I would suggest opening a ticket with Oracle. You could try enabling Platform MBean Server which is in Domain home -> Advanced and restarting the domain. Usually this would fix it but without logs, its very hard to tell. Please try to provide us the sysman logs for the em.
I found the solution for this issue. This is a bug and oracle has released a patch for this BUG_13826887/Patch p13826887_111160_Generic.
1.Set ORACLE_HOME, java
2.check which opatch, opatch apply
3.restart complete weblogic
I have an application running on Worklight 6.1 and I am seeing this messages on the log.
CWWKS3005E: A configuration exception has occurred. No UserRegistry implementation service is available
I don't need to authenticate the users on my application, can I ignore this message?
I'm not sure, but you can try to cancel logging for this specific package using following log configuration in server.xml:
<logging traceSpecification="XXX.XXX.*=off=disabled"/>
where XXX.XXX.* is the package where the error was occurred.
Here is a list of all available log levels: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSCKBL_8.5.5/com.ibm.websphere.nd.doc/ae/utrb_loglevel.html
I understand that you are not asked how to remove these messages from the log file, but you asked should you worry about these messages.
Anyway this log is not of Worklight server, it generated by Liberty server. It means you have something wrong in server configuration.
I found that this messages is because my server.xml configuration file of WebSphere Liberty Profile contains this feature
appSecurity-1.0
And I am not defining any User Registry.
http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/rsahelp/v8r5/topic/com.ibm.websphere.wlp.nd.multiplatform.doc/ae/rwlp_feat.html
I am not running the Application Center in this profile and I am securing the Worklight console using properties in the worklight.properties file.
So, the question is can I remove the appSecurity feature?
Add <basicRegistry></basicRegistry> to your server.xml.
