How to fix VK_KHR_portability_subset error on mac m1 while following vulkan tutorial

Hi i'm having an error on compile. Apparently i'm missing an extension :
validation layer: Validation Error: [ VUID-VkDeviceCreateInfo-pProperties-04451 ] Object 0: handle = 0x1055040c0, type = VK_OBJECT_TYPE_PHYSICAL_DEVICE; | MessageID = 0x3a3b6ca0 | vkCreateDevice: VK_KHR_portability_subset must be enabled because physical device VkPhysicalDevice 0x1055040c0[] supports it The Vulkan spec states: If the [VK_KHR_portability_subset] extension is included in pProperties of vkEnumerateDeviceExtensionProperties, ppEnabledExtensions must include "VK_KHR_portability_subset". (https://vulkan.lunarg.com/doc/view/1.2.176.1/mac/1.2-extensions/vkspec.html#VUID-VkDeviceCreateInfo-pProperties-04451)
I naively added to the deviceExtension vector "VK_KHR_portability_subset" and then got a second error who seems to be similar to the previous one.
validation layer: Validation Error: [ VUID-vkCreateDevice-ppEnabledExtensionNames-01387 ] Object 0: VK_NULL_HANDLE, type = VK_OBJECT_TYPE_INSTANCE; | MessageID = 0x12537a2c | Missing extension required by the device extension VK_KHR_portability_subset: VK_KHR_get_physical_device_properties2. The Vulkan spec states: All required extensions for each extension in the VkDeviceCreateInfo::ppEnabledExtensionNames list must also be present in that list (https://vulkan.lunarg.com/doc/view/1.2.176.1/mac/1.2-extensions/vkspec.html#VUID-vkCreateDevice-ppEnabledExtensionNames-01387)
I added to the deviceExtension vector "VK_KHR_get_physical_device_properties2" and then got a third error :
libc++abi: terminating with uncaught exception of type std::runtime_error: failed to find a suitable GPU!
The thing is that previously he recognized that i was using a m1 chip but now no informations on the device shows :(
I added to the deviceExtension vector "VK_KHR_get_physical_device_properties2"
VK_KHR_get_physical_device_properties2 is an instance extension, and as such belongs to vkCreateInstance (not device).
Reportedly, that fixed your issue.
I have encountered same message on same device and after some research understood it's not error, just a warning. If you don't really need to handle this special case, you can just ignore it.

Angular7 + XHook gives ERROR TypeError: Illegal invocation

I have a chrome plugin runnin Xhook which intercepts xhr requests.
This used to work with angular js. Now I am using an Angular 7 application And I am getting an error when I make following request
this.http.get('someurl').subscribe((data: any) => {
});
Which triggers xhr.send(reqBody); in the angular http.js library. The error is on the subscribe part, if I remove this the error is gone.
The error is the following:
core.js:15724 ERROR TypeError: Illegal invocation
at ZoneTask.scheduleTask [as scheduleFn] (zone.js:3238)
at ZoneDelegate.push../node_modules/zone.js/dist/zone.js.ZoneDelegate.scheduleTask (zone.js:410)

at _global.<computed>.proto.<computed> [as send] (zone.js:1569)
at Observable._subscribe (http.js:1726)
I am using this library: https://github.com/jpillora/xhook and the error is caused by line 478 facade.send = function(body) https://github.com/jpillora/xhook/blob/gh-pages/dist/xhook.js
I am thinking that: either angular tries to run the overridden function but something is not accessible because of zone.js, or I am missing certain properties, function in the object that overrides xhr?
If anyone has any information or solution on the subject that would be dearly appreciated.

Driver instance must comply with the W3C specification to support getting timeout values error while using ImplicitWait

I am trying to set the implicit wait using ChomeDriver and Selenium, but I am getting an error message.
The behavior is also that the timeout does not get set and defaults to 60 seconds.
Driver instance must comply with the W3C specification to support getting timeout values.
at OpenQA.Selenium.Remote.RemoteTimeouts.ExecuteGetTimeout(String timeoutType)\r\n at OpenQA.Selenium.Remote.RemoteTimeouts.get_ImplicitWait()"
I am using Selenium.WebDriver 3.141.0
This error message...
OpenQA.Selenium.Remote.RemoteTimeouts.ExecuteGetTimeout(String timeoutType)\r\n at OpenQA.Selenium.Remote.RemoteTimeouts.get_ImplicitWait()
...implies that the syntax used for inducing ImplicitWait was not proper.
As per the discussion in Support W3C WebDriver Set Timeouts format earlier the Set Timeouts command expected the data format as follows:
{
implicit: 59,
}
But as per the W3C WebDriver multiple timeout durations can be set at the same time as follows:
{
implicit: 123,
pageLoad: 234,
script: 456,
}
Your code trials would have helped us to debug your issue in a better way. Perhaps you are inducing ImplicitWait as per the earlier format:
driver.Manage().Timeouts().ImplicitWait = waitTime;
Hence you see the error.
Solution
To induce ImplicitWait you need to follow the following format:
driver.Manage().Timeouts().ImplicitWait = TimeSpan.FromSeconds(10);
Outro
Enable reading timeouts on non-spec driver instances
Driver.Manage().Timeouts().ImplicitWait gives runtime error {not a number}

Unhandled rejection Error: Chrome still being created

When I use { insertDefaultUI: false } to create a video I get an "Unhandled rejection Error: Chrome still being created" when trying to cleanup after I'm done with session.disconnect().
Any ideas...?
I'm on the TokBox dev team.
The error is not something you should be concerned with, it's something internal to the SDK.
The bug is that the error is appearing at all. I have created a bug report and this error should disappear in a future release. Until then you can safely ignore it.
Thanks for the report.
I'm having the very same problem when trying to unpublish my publisher
Could you guys provide a solution?

I might be a bit late, but I'll share my findings. When using a custom UI on your publisher, use the following event:
publisher.on('streamDestroyed',function(event){ event.preventDefault();});
This disallows opentok calling widget destroying events which causes the exception related to this question, however now I don't know how to stop the stream lol, since if I call event.target.destroy() will generate the same exception, lol ... so I'm trying to figure that out.

Unavailable Camera control API functions, Sony Development SDK, Camera WX500

I am trying to modify the CameraRemoteSampleApp provided by the Sony SDK to add full control over the aperture, iso, and shutter speed to the interface.
At this point however all the relevant functions are off limits.
The documentation defines these functions as "available if the latest version of the PlayMemories Smart Remote Control is installed and in use".
a) The smart remote control is installed and running, with the smartphone connected through it and wifi (Samsung Galaxy SIII).
b) I can take photos with the SDK Sample App.
c) Using the available API list shows that the functions exist but are not available.
d) Calling one of those functions directly returns "Not Available Now". This error code is not present in the documentation.
How can one get access to ISO/F-number/Shutter speed functions in this case?

There are a couple things that you can check first:
Do you have the latest version of Smart Remote Control installed?
Do you have the latest firmware update for your camera?
