Making a VB form noninteractive in the background - vb.net

I want my current "home form" to stay in the background when I click on a button which in turn opens another form on top of it.
I want something like this:
Home -> Click Button -> open new form -> New form becomes the focus of the app
-> Home form stays in the background
The home form should still be there, but I can't click on it or anything. When I click on the app, only the new form opened should be interactive.

If I understand correctly, you can use Form.ShowDialog method to show the form as a modal dialog box.

how to copy paste text from a file when using a modal dialogue in vb.net

I am using modal dialogue(ShowDialog) in my project and now, user want to copy and paste few text from other application but modal dialogue will not allow them to do the same because modal pop up doesn't allow to focus on other screen. I know I can use modeless dialogue but at this point I can't. Now my question is, are there any way to have focus on other screen using modal dialogue box?
Dim f As New Form()
f.ShowDialog(Me)
The Show function shows the form in a non modal form. This means that you can click on the parent form.
ShowDialog shows the form modally, meaning you cannot go to the parent form

Is there a way to automatically change the selected menu page in a master detail project when the detail changes?

Background:
My project uses the "Master Detail" project from Xamarin.Forms, so it comes equipped with the hamburger menu button in the top left which is supposed to be the main source of navigation throughout the app. However, my app requires the user to go through multiple of those screens without the use of the hamburger menu. But when a user uses my own buttons to change the detail, the hamburger menu still says the user is on the previous page.
For example, a user is on Page A. They click a button outside of the menu which sends them to Page B. The menu will still show Page A.
My Attempt:
I really didn't know where to start, so I tried taking the MenuItemType and passing it through the following function:
// This changes the screen without changing the menu and it works.
((MasterDetailPage)Application.Current.MainPage).Detail = new NavigationPage(new PageB());
// This was my attempt to change the menu.
(Application.Current.MainPage as MenuPage).RootPage.NavigateFromMenu((id)MenuItemType.PageB);
But that returned a Null Reference Exception when run.
I've also tried manually calling the list view associated with the hamburger menu and changing the selectedItem property, but that didn't work either. Is there any way to change the selected menu?
For Clarity:
Since StackOverflow won't let me post a video, here's a link to how the app acts. As you can see, I use the Menu to go to the "About" Page. I click a button on the screen which takes me back to the "Browse" Page. However, when I open the menu, it still says "About" is selected. I can't reselect "About" until the menu moves away, meaning I have to reopen "Browse" despite already being on that screen.
What I'm looking for is a function which will automatically change the selected menu item to "Browse" when I press that button on the "About" Page. The app is currently using a Master Detail Page which has the "Detail" component changing from the About Page to the Browse Page. The menu page is a Content Page which came built with the app beforehand.

I have to maxmimize the child page minimized when it double clicked on its parent page. Is this possible to work in webform in vb.net

I had a page with gridview when clicking on the hyperlink in the cell it will open a popup window.
When this popup is minimized I was not able to click anything on the parent page so I need when I double click of mouse on parent page I want this popup to be maximized. And I was not even able to open new tab also when popup is minimized .so new tab also have to be opened when popup is minimized I dont want to use any extra buttons in my design.

Maximized Main Form follows the restore window if I open another form, and I dont want that

I have a main form maximized in Access that I do not want to be in restore window or hidden or closed when another form opens.
I observed that when I open another form by DoCmd.Restore by clicking a button in the main form, the main form is also doing the restore window.
When I clicked a button in the main form, say Add Record, with DoCmd.Restore, my main form is doing a restore window rather than staying in maximized window
Any idea?
Thanks in advance
Your question is a bit confusing. If you don't want to un-maximize your forms, don't do DoCmd.Restore.
If you want to open another form non-maximized, but keep the main form maximized, you need to make the second form a popup form.
This is how MDI windows work - you can't have maximized and non-maximized forms at the same time - except popup forms.

Click differences between text box and a button

On a form where I display data, if the user clicks the text box I open a virtual keyboard (form) and allow them to click buttons to enter data. When this virtual keyboard is opened, if the path to open was from clicking a text box, the first click in the new form (virtual keyboard) is ignored. If the virtual keyboard form is opened from clicking a button (from the first form), it works fine. I can't find a difference between triggering the virtual keyboard form from either control.
It seems to me that your issue is one of focus. When you trigger the virtual keyboard form to open because of the textbox click, you are somehow immediately returning focus to the caller, and not to the newly opened form. Therefore, you might need something as simple as:
myForm.Focus()
...at the end of the code that is opening the form.
I say this because the first click is "ignored", as you say. I would guess that it's actually consuming that first click as a focus event, and then you get the clicks you want registered as you want after that.
