How add new localization for achivment or lederboard items via Play Games Services Publishing API - google-play-services

When I add new localization (which not manually added for the game) in the requesting JSON (https://developers.google.com/games/services/publishing/api/achievementConfigurations) for updating achievements or leaderboards the server return following error:
{
"error": {
"errors": [
{
"domain": "global",
"reason": "UnsupportedLocale",
"message": "The locale bg in the name field is not supported by the application."
}
],
"code": 400,
"message": "The locale bg in the name field is not supported by the application."
}
}
Please help me to solve this issue

I believe in order for the API to accept translations, the language needs to be added to the Game definition. If you go to your Game, then the Game Details tab, click "Add Translations" and add Bulgarian.
Once it is added there, you can use the API to upload the values.

Walmart API Error: WM_CONSUMER.CHANNEL.TYPE set null or invalid

My client has a Walmart marketplace store and we are trying figure out how to successfully make the Walmart API's Multiple Item Inventory for All Ship Nodes API call.
The API production URL is :
https://marketplace.walmartapis.com/v3/inventories
The purpose of this call is getting the inventory of the store using the API.
Unfortunately, we are stuck because we don't know what value to put for WM_CONSUMER.CHANNEL.TYPE.
As a result, the API response is unsuccessful and gives this error:
{
"error": [
{
"code": "INVALID_REQUEST_HEADER.GMP_GATEWAY_API",
"field": "WM_CONSUMER.CHANNEL.TYPE",
"description": "WM_CONSUMER.CHANNEL.TYPE set null or invalid",
"info": "One or more request headers are invalid.",
"severity": "ERROR",
"category": "DATA",
"causes": [],
"errorIdentifiers": {}
}
]
}
Where can the value of WM_CONSUMER.CHANNEL.TYPE be found?
I had the same exact issue. I had to open a ticket with support to get the WM_CONSUMER.CHANNEL.TYPE.
Just an FYI, this didn't solve the problem as the value they gave us still resulted in the API returning the same error code.

403 Error creating dataSource for com.google.blood_pressure in Google Fit REST API

Goal:
I have a simple web application where I submit my Blood Pressure and Heart Rate measurements.
Now I'd like to submit these measurements to my Google Fit Account.
I tried Googles tutorial: https://developers.google.com/fit/scenarios/write-bp-data
OAuth2 Setup
I created new credentials in one of my existing Cloud Console Projects. And then requested a new authorization code using the following scopes (The project is in Testing State and my account is registered as tester):
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/fitness.blood_pressure.write
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/fitness.heart_rate.write
Requesting the token returns the following response:
{
"access_token": "ya29.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX",
"expires_in": 3599,
"refresh_token": "1//XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX",
"scope": "https://www.googleapis.com/auth/fitness.heart_rate.write https://www.googleapis.com/auth/fitness.blood_pressure.write",
"token_type": "Bearer"
}
As you can see, both write scopes are granted.
Additionally, if I check the permissions in my Google Account, both scopes are set.
Create dataSource
Now I create two dataSources (one for com.google.heart_rate.bpm and one for com.google.blood_pressure).
creating the Heart Rate dataSource works as expected, but creating a dataSource for Blood Pressure returns a 403 PERMISSION_DENIED Error:
Request (POST https://www.googleapis.com/fitness/v1/users/me/dataSources)
{
"dataStreamName": "BPA-BloodPressure",
"type": "raw",
"application": {
"detailsUrl": "https://aaa.bbb.ccc",
"name": "Blood Pressure App",
"version": "1"
},
"dataType": {
"name": "com.google.blood_pressure"
}
}
Response
{
"error": {
"code": 403,
"message": "Scope not included to modify data of type com.google.blood_pressure. Possible scopes: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/fitness.blood_pressure.write",
"errors": [
{
"message": "Scope not included to modify data of type com.google.blood_pressure. Possible scopes: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/fitness.blood_pressure.write",
"domain": "global",
"reason": "forbidden"
}
],
"status": "PERMISSION_DENIED"
}
}
The Google Fit REST API tells me that the Scope fitness.blood_pressure.write is missing, but as you can see the Scope is given for the used access token.
Notes
I am working with Postman to test all requests. Later a Java/Groovy or PHP backend will used.
I also tried with read and write scopes for both data types.
I can see my app with both write scopes in Google Fit under "Connected apps".
Change dataType name to "fitness.blood_pressure" instead of "com.google.blood_pressure"
The body will be like this.
{
"dataStreamName": "BPA-BloodPressure",
"type": "raw",
"application": {
"detailsUrl": "https://aaa.bbb.ccc",
"name": "Blood Pressure App",
"version": "1"
},
"dataType": {
"name": "fitness.blood_pressure"
}
}

Mimecast API authentication issue

trying to connect to endpoint with all needed headers defined:
https://us-api.mimecast.com/api/login/login.
Error message receieved : 0018 Client update required
Did anyone encounter/solve this issue?
{
"meta": {
"status": 401
},
"data": [],

{
"key": {
"username": "datadash#itprosusa.com",

},
"errors": [
{
"code": "err_xdk_client_update_required",
"message": "0018 Client update required",
"retryable": false
}
]
}
]
}
I came across the same error message when trying to get Access key and Secret Key. You can actually get these in the Mimecast portal UI by going to: Administration | Services | APIĀ Applications, then Add API Application fill in the details and wait 30 minutes. After 30 minutes click on your newly created API application and select Create Keys, fill in the required information and it will provide you with your Access key and Secret key used for API calls.
If this doesn't answer your question or help you I would suggest getting in contact with Mimecast Support, they are usually pretty good!

Try to patch TEXT in a Classroom announcements over API

I'm not able to change 'text' in an announcements using Google-Classroom API.
When I try to use the PATCH method I have the following error:
{
"error": {
"code": 400,
"message": "updateMask: Non-supported update mask fields specified",
"status": "INVALID_ARGUMENT",
"details": [
{
"#type": "type.googleapis.com/google.rpc.BadRequest",
"fieldViolations": [
{
"field": "updateMask",
"description": "Non-supported update mask fields specified"
}
]
}
]
}
}
request and updateMask
I send a updateMask 'text' and a text in request body.
When I try with the updateMask 'state,scheduledTime' I get a successful.
Has anyone ever had this error?
References:
https://developers.google.com/classroom/reference/rest/v1/courses.announcements/patch
I had the same issue. Despite what the documentation seems to indicate (that updateMask can be text), I couldn't get it to work.
I got around it by creating a new post with the information from the announcement, and deleting the old announcement.
This is probably what you did too.

Graph API 2.3 Event location

If I query an api request for the location of an event I get:
{
"error": {
"message": "(#12) location field is deprecated for versions v2.3 and higher",
"type": "OAuthException",
"code": 12
}
}
I'm making a party calender based on facebook events. without the location the app is useless.. Is there any way around?
You should use place as specified here https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api/reference/v2.3/event :
https://graph.facebook.com/v2.3/{event-id}/?fields=place
