vb.net AxShockwaveFlash dynamically created error - vb.net

I've got an error while creating an AxShockwaveFlash control in VB.NET , when I load a movie , an error appears :
Exception of type
'System.Windows.Forms.AxHost+InvalidActiveXStateException' was thrown
.
This is my code :
Dim animFlashObject As New AxShockwaveFlash
Me.Controls.Add(animFlashObject)
animFlashObject.Movie = "D:\Dé-compilateur de .d2p\data\swf\9014.swf"
animFlashObject.EmbedMovie = True
animFlashObject.Play()

I'm going to try to answer this, keep in mind that my English is not that good.
I think the problem lays with your "url" to the .swf file.
Try putting your .swf file in another folder, example: "C:\anotherfolder\movie.swf" it's bin a while since I used vb.net, but I think this is it.
Goodluck

Webforms Error shows TWO projects although solution shows ONE project

In a VS-2019 webforms solution I get this error that shows TWO projects although the solution only has ONE project.
Severity: Error
Code Description : BC30456 'prpPageCaption' is not a member of 'MasterPage'.
Project: 7_SessionExpired.aspx, repo_TripManagement
File: C:\Users...\SessionExpired.aspx.vb
Line: 100
Suppression State: Active
It appears that the error shows TWO projects and I did not create a project named 7_SessionExpired.aspx
The vb-page "SessionExpired.aspx and .vb" was copied from a similar project in VS-2017. This is confusing to me and I don't have any way to know what this error is saying.
Here is the LINE=100 from the source VB file:
100| | Master.prpPageCaption = "Session has Expired"
Here is the property in the master-page:
Public Property prpPageCaption() As String
Get
Return Me.lblCaption.Text
End Get
Set(ByVal p_sCaption As String)
Me.lblCaption.Text = p_sCaption
Me.updpanelPageCaption.Update()
End Set
End Property
The vb-page "SessionExpired.aspx and .vb" was copied from a similar project in VS-2017. This is confusing to me and I don't have any way to know what this error is saying. I need your help. Thanks...John
Think the IDE/VS-2019 is confused and I cut ALL of the files for SessionExpired.aspx (.vb) and pasted them in a my-documents-folder.
I then added a webform-page with Master-page (WebForm1.aspx) into the project.
I then added the ASPX objects as UI for the page. I performed a "View Code" option and the / VB-code structure is shown. I only added "Option Explicit ON". Saved both modified files and closed the SOLUTION.
I then re-opened the solution and the code compiled -- even though the full VB-functionality was not coded.
From the 'Solution Explorer' I then renamed the WebForm1.aspx to "SessionExpired" and compiled again -- all ok.
Finally I added the VB-code from the saved-off original SessionExpired.vb code.
All of the errors shown above were cleared and things are working.
IMHO, bringing in an older webform brings with it the old-style of 'designer' and by starting with a VS-2019 webform-page conforms to the VS-2019 designer pattern.
I apologize to those that viewed this question.
Thanks. John.

ImageFileError: Cannot work out file type of ".nii"

When I try to load my .NII file as a 4D Niimg-like object (I've tried both nilearn and nibabel),
I get the below error
Error: ImageFileError: Cannot work out file type of
"/Users/audreyphan/Documents/Spring2020/DESPO/res4d/1/res4d_anat.nii"
Here is my code:
ds_name = '/Users/audreyphan/Documents/Spring2020/DESPO/res4d/1/res4d_anat.nii'
block = nib.load(ds_name) #Nibabel
block = image.load_img(ds_name) #Nilearn
Both attempts result in the same error.
I'm not sure what's causing this error to occur?
Thanks!
It looks like the libraries are not able to extract the file type from your file.
So first of all we have to be sure that the file is not corrupt. Therefore, can you load the data correctly with a tool such as ITK-SNAP (http://www.itksnap.org)?
If yes, you can try to define the file type by your own in the nibabel package by using the specific loader function. E.g. you can try each one of the following loader functions:
img_nifti1 = nib.Nifti1Image.from_filename(file)
img_nifti2 = nib.Nifti2Image.from_filename(file)
Oddly enough, this error also occurs when the access permissions are not set appropriately for the file you are trying to load. Try using chmod to change those access permissions appropriately and then loading the *.nii file.

The file XXXXXXXXXXXX.xlsm has been modified by UERSNAME on [DATE] 12:25:31 +0200

I am trying to copy file from one SharePoint library and to another using custom workflow activity, after copying I am trying to update this Author and editor of file name.
Following is my code,
item["Author"] = sourceItem["Author"];
item["Editor"] = sourceItem["Editor"];
if (item.File.CheckOutType != SPFile.SPCheckOutType.None)
item.File.CheckIn("Check in");
item.UnlinkFromCopySource(); item.UpdateOverwriteVersion();
I am getting following exception to only one document . It is working fine with another document.
Exception
The file XXXXXXXXXXXX.xlsm has been modified by UERSNAME on [DATE] 12:25:31 +0200.
This message indicates that before saving your changes it has some other changes to save,and that causes a conflict and sharaepoint gives this error.
Do you put DisableEventFiring() before performing any updates ?
Thanks

an error 3013 thrown when writing a file Adobe AIR

I'm trying to write/create a JSON file from a AIR app, I'm trying not so show a 'Save as' dialogue box.
Here's the code I'm using:
var fileDetails:Object = CreativeMakerJSX.getFileDetails();
var fileName:String = String(fileDetails.data.filename);
var path:String = String(fileDetails.data.path);
var f:File = File.userDirectory.resolvePath( path );
var stream:FileStream = new FileStream();
stream.open(f, FileMode.WRITE );
stream.writeUTFBytes( jsonToExport );
stream.close();
The problem I'm having is that I get a 'Error 3013. File or directory in use'. The directory/path is gathered from a Creative Suite Extension I'm building, this path is the same as the FLA being developed in CS that the Extension is being used with.
So I'm not sure if the problem is that there are already files in the directory I'm writing the JSON file to?
Do I need to add a timer in order to close the stream after a slight delay, giving some time to writing the file?
Can you set up some trace() commands? I would need to know what the values of the String variables are, and the f.url.
Can you read from the file that you are trying to write to, or does nothing work?
Where is CreativeMakerJSX.getFileDetails() coming from? Is it giving you data about a file that is in use?
And from Googling around, this seems like it may be a bug. Try setting up a listener for when you are finished, if you have had the file open previously.
I re-wrote how the file was written, no longer running into this issue.

FileUploadDialogHandler()

I am trying to automate a web app which involves selecting an existing file using a fileuploaddialoghandler() method and entering the full path in the file name dropdown then Open click.
However, when I attempt this using this code
FileUploadDialogHandler fileupload = new FileUploadDialogHandler(#"C:\TIFFiles\Testtif.TIF");
//browser.WaitForComplete();
using (new UseDialogOnce(browser.DialogWatcher, fileupload))
{
newIee.Button(Find.ById("ctl00_WebPartManager1_FileUpload_FileBrowse")).ClickNoWait();
browser.AddDialogHandler(fileupload);
browser.WaitForComplete();
browser.RemoveDialogHandler(fileupload);
}
It does not work.
What else should I be doing?
Thanks much!

I just have one question about your code... What is newIee? I can't tell by looking at the code if newIee is attached to browser. Other than that, your FileUpdateDialogHandler should be fine.
If you can provide the code where you declare newIee, it might add me in determining if it's a factor causing your code not to work properly.
