I am using the following on Linux
MFP 6.3
WAS Libery 8.5.5.6 (core trial)
Tried with JDK1.7 and JDK1.6 but nothing worked out
MySQL
I could not see any other error/exception in messages.log except this and I am not sure where to change the 'timeout' value in WAS Liberty profile.

Right now it does seem like you are experiencing the same issue as mentioned here: How to solve management service not starting up in Worklight 6.2
You are currently using IBM Java 1.7 per the messages.log file:
java.home = /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.7.0-ibm-1.7.0.9.0.x86_64/jre
Download Oracle Java 1.7 and make sure your java.home points to it. Start the server and see if there are any differences.

In server.xml find the following:
<jndiEntry jndiName="ibm.worklight.admin.jmx.host" value="localhost"/>
Replace "localhost" with the Public IP address of the host machine and start the server.

After a few try's(and a lot of virtual machines cloned and deleted), i finally get the "build successfully" message with the commands ant runinstall and ant deploy-keystore
But when i try to use the URL https://localhost:8443/ejbca/ (the certificate SuperAdmin.p12 is installed) my browser(firefox 96.0 64bits) give the message

Sounds like a TLS configuration issue. You will find the TLS configuration you did when configuring WildFly in the commands you ran like:

The result is somewhere in standalone.xml in WildFly, and you can modify it directly in WildFly. For example if you have EC keys in the server certificate while using the above RSA algorithm selection.
In server.log you should also see when WildFly starts up if there are any error in parsing the values, or keystores.
Make sure that you server and client certificates have keys and algorithms that match the TLS algorithm settings, otherwise WildFly will remove those algortihms.

Weblogic nodemanager errors/timeout

Running a Windows domain on a NAS, we infrequently see this error. We're worried it may be our configuration causing a problem, possibly some nodemanager.properties setting, a WLST call, etc.
Eventually we are unable to command the NodeManager via JMX and WLST. Cycling the NM works but is not a good solution. Is there something else we can try via WLST?

JMX connection to access MBean

My environment:
O/S: Windows 8.1
JRE: 1.7
Eclipse: Luna, 4.4
Worklight: 6.2 (build 6.2.0.00-20140801-1709)
I have encountered the following error when Run As > Run on Worklight Development Server.
I've re-installed several times, but the error persist.
Another strange thing noted: Need to change the <httpEndpoint host="*" to host="hostname" ...> in the server.xml before the Worklight Server can be started.
Questions:
Is there any similar problem?
Is Worklight Studio tested on Windows 8.1? (based on Announcement Letter, Worklight is only supported on Windows 8)?

Cloudera CDH 4.6.0 - Hive metastore service not starting

I installed Cloudera CDH 4.6.0 on my Centos 6.2 linux server machine (Cloudera manager - 4.8). I am able to start few services, however not able to start the Hive metastore service.
Cloudera is using Postgre SQL as the remote metatore DB. My host name is delvmpll2, but when starting Hive service, it is giving java.net.UnknownHostException: localhost.localdomain.
I edited the hostname in hive-site.xml and restarted all the services, but still the same exception is coming. I could not find the place where cloudera is picking this hostname.
Could someone please let me know what would have went wrong.

Finally I solved it.
I changed the server_host value in config.ini file in /etc/cloudera-scm-agent to my host and after that when I restarted the services, all the services are running well

Connect to JBoss 7 using VisualVM

I have remote JBoss 7.1 server and I would like to connect to this server by using VisualVM or JConsole.

Unfortunately I had no luck in connecting to my JBoss 7.1 over JMX.

Note 1: Use \ instead of ^ on Unix.
Note 2: Replace <JBOSS_PATH> with your JBoss 7.x installation path. Mine was c:/java/jboss-as-7.1.1.Final.
You can connect directly to the JBOSS JMX instead of the VM one (no need to modify JAVA_OPTS)
Just ensure you have the following config in standalone.xml (JMX subsystem active)
in standalone mode (listened port 9999):

Then we need a little hack : As JBoss JMX implementation is a bit specific we need to include some jboss lib to the classpath of JVisualVM
Get the file $JBOSS_HOME/bin/jconsole.sh/jconsole.bat and copy / rename it to jvisualvm.sh / jvisualvm.bat in the same directory.
Then replace the executable call to jconsole per jvisualvm using -cp:a "$CLASSPATH"instead of -J-Djava.class.path="$CLASSPATH"
Now just launch visualVM using the script and add a new JMX connection (file menu) using the folowing url service:jmx:remoting-jmx://hostname:port (the credentials are the one of management realm)
NB: think to ssh tunnel if you don't have direct access to JMX port
If you open a command shell and type "netstat -a", do you see something LISTENING on the JMX port 1090? If not, perhaps you have to check JBOSS configuration.
