I am quiet new at Office365 and Rest API's.
I found my self searching every post, article or blog looking for the correct way of working with Onedrive for business Rest API.
The URL that OneDrive for Business published is :
OneDrive for Business: https://{tenant}-my.sharepoint.com/_api/v1.0/me
I am a user in one of the tenant with no admin permissions,I event got my user ID.
But what is the correct syntax for that ?
Thank you
Asaf
looking into your question, are you asking syntax for the URL?
If it is then your business domain name with which you have registered like if your business domain name is 'myonedrive' and then your mail id should be 'user#myonedrive.onmicrosoft.com' and the URL would be 'http://myonedrive-my.sharepoint.com/_api/v1.0/me/'.
Follow this official doc for further instructions on how to authenticate and use OneDrive for business rest API - 'https://dev.onedrive.com/README.htm'
which provides all the details and endpoints of rest API.
As in your case for different tenant i.e., for different organisation you will have different tenant and the URL changes accordingly and users are mapped accordingly with the organisation.

I'm trying to pull our Google Classroom data into a custom web application via the Google API Client (PHP). I was able to make a successful call using a service account set up in Google Cloud, but the call returned no Classroom data.
I'm assuming the Classroom data must be associated with a different Google Cloud Project, I'm just not sure which one. I don't want to create a service account for every single project and test them, there are too many projects. I've looked everywhere and I can't seem to find the answer to the question: how do I find out WHICH project a Google Classroom integration is associated with, so I can configure the API Client accordingly?
I tried looking through all Classroom settings to see whether there was any information about the Google Cloud Project being used to store the data. I tried contacting Google Support, but so far I've had problems getting an answer to my question.
Ultimately I just want to pull the Classroom data into our web application.
Thanks
To use a service account with google classroom api you must configure Domain wide deligation. This will allow the service account to impersonate a user on your domain.
$user_to_impersonate = "admin#yourdomain.com";
$client->setSubject($user_to_impersonate);
The service account will then behalf as though they were that person. It can then see everything that user has access to.
Without delegation in place the service account doesn't have access to anything.
I wrote this same question to #Linkedin support service and I was redirected to this link where they indicate to ask questions in Stackoverflow.
We are developing a mobile App for the Polytechnic University of Madrid and we plan to expand to other Universities in the future. This aplication will need in a first instance OAuth via Linkedin. It will also need to allow the authenticated user to send connection invitations to other users contained in a list. For creating that list of users, it will be useful if the admin of the system could search in a bar similar to the one which Linkedin has, write a user name and select it, retrieving its user ID or what is needed to identify the invitation destination.
Summing up, the App needs:
OAuth API
Connection request API
User search API
I have read on the web that some of Linkedin's APIs suffered some modifications in which most of them where limited to allowed users or apps. So the aim of this post is knowing:
Do the APIs my mobile application needs exist?
What do I need to do to obtain the access to those APIs in case they exist?
User search API
For this feature you could use something like Algolia Instant Search
LinkedIn has changed many things related to user data. If you need access to its data then you must follow the given guidelines.
Basically you have to create a LinkedIn App and then the users have to grant permissions to your app by installing it in their device(s) and then only you can collect their data.
I want to access the full LinkedIn profile information using the API, but I have only managed to access the basic profile and e-mail address with the API-key and Secret Key.
Am I missing something or is it more restricted in some manner?
How did you get the LinkedIn API ?
Did you applied for partnership because as far as I know LinkedIn changed the policy of API , so the API will be available only through the partnership and for that you've to pay different fee based on partner program
Have a look here, the same thins we've too.
I've fulfilled the application 3 weeks ago but no response yet.
***Subject: Having acces on LinkedIn API [160721-001958]****
I had spoken with one of our experts on this and he had confirmed for me that you can still go through other workarounds for this.
Go to https://developer.linkedin.com/partner-programs
Click on either of the options based on your need. You will be directed to another page where if you scroll down you will find the button for Apply to become a LinkedIn Solutions Partner. Click on that.
You will be directed to a page that says Apply to become a LinkedIn Partner and you can fill up the form from there for access.
I'm trying to access public information from API's without actually having users grant access to the API in my mobile Application. Is this actually possible, or are the Oauth permissions for any sort of access to an API?
For example, I want my application to be able to pull a list of nearby restaurants for my application without asking the user if Yelp can access the application. Since the user just wants nearby food information, the request for restaurants isn't user specific, and the user shouldn't actually have to login.
Another example is if I want Eventbrite to simply give me a list of upcoming events. Is there a way to get this list without having a user authenticate Eventbrite within my application itsself?
You can call an API endpoint with your own token (between your Eventbrite account and your application key), and if the data is public (even if it's 'owned' by a different Eventbrite account) we'll return the data.
For example, if you want a list of events across our Event Directory (Event Search endpoint: http://developer.eventbrite.com/docs/event-search/) you can call this method with your own OAuth token (you can grab your OAuth token here: http://eventbrite.com/myaccount/apps).
Hope that helps!
i want to know if its possible to get the email of the people who are using open id to authenticate to my site [of course with the user knowing that i am getting their email]?
this email will be the user id of the user and i want the user to be able to loggin using any provider and then i will set this email as the user identity.
i need this information in order to design the structure of my site.
i am looking into the following open id providers.
Gmail
Yahoo
Facebook Connect
Hotmail

Use open social API's...
OpenSocial defines a common API for social applications across multiple websites. With standard JavaScript and HTML, developers can create apps that access a social network's friends and update feeds.
Refer to this link for more:-
http://code.google.com/apis/opensocial/
Who says the OpenID provider has the user's e-mail to give to you? I can get an OpenID identity that's accessed only by my fingerprint.
