I am curious is there any voice recognition technology in the market such that it is able to identify different people through different voice.
Basically the technology i am searching for is able to model people's voices.
Nuance VocalPassword is one that I know of. It does exactly like you say, allows users to go through an enrolment process to create a voiceprint which that then be used to authenticate.

I am looking for a API from a popular game.
Googled a lot and seems to be very hard to find information or api's from games.
A lot for mobile apps but not looking for that.
I've never used this, but I believe Blizzard has a pretty extensive API which I believe is free. They have many popular games played by millions of people, including World of Warcraft, Starcraft, Overwatch, etc.

I'm looking to create a mobile version of the images created on passwordcard.org. All attribution will be given to the site for the data, but I'm looking to implement it where an app doesn't exist yet and network connectivity isn't guaranteed. Is there an externally accessible API available? I didn't really see any information about it in the FAQ.
I'm the creator of passwordcard.org. There is no API, but there is a description of the algorithm used to create the cards so that you can implement it yourself and create the exact same cards as the site would create for the same card numbers. You can find it at http://www.passwordcard.org/algorithm.html

I'm looking for an API that will provide real-time lightning strike data in a metro area and searches have come up short. Please send me the link and an overview of your experience if you have worked with one in the past.....
Thanks!
I would recommend that you have a look at the Vaisala Global Lightning Dataset GLD360 system.
Turns out, there are two big players:
1) Vaisala
2) NAPLN
We chose to use NAPLN.

I'm looking for a comprehensive financial data api. It should contain index-data for 5 of the worlds largest stockmarkets. Just closing data, and if possible historic closing data.
I've been looking at yahoo finance, google finance and bloomberg, but none of them seem to contain all the stockmarkets. Any suggestions?
Xignite is worth a look. It is more comprehensive than the free ones you mention but you do have to pay.
There is also IQFeed, which is very reasonably priced.

I am looking for APIs that allow hotel operators to update room information and other hotel info programatically, so far I have only found Expedia QuickConnect but I cannot find anything else. Anyone know of other APIs?
Just to reiterate these are APIs to manage a hotel (rooms, prices etc) not to search for hotel rooms.
search for amadeus api and galileo api..that should help..amadeus is the largest network..
