I have maya and 3ds max softwares. Now what I need is to export as xaml from these softwares. Could you please help me with some plugins which can be used?
This may not be what you are looking for but for the last 11 years the only way to do this properly and professionally is with our PolyTrans-for-3dsMax and PolyTrans-for-Maya conversion products, directly to 3D XAML:

I´m using Blender 2.79 and I´ve been exporting using the addon provided by khronos. How possible is it to light the scene with the model, and export it?
My model has textures appearing too dark. Facebook posts appear darker.
On sandbox babylon the environment helps to light the model a little but there´s no real light source setup. How do I export my model with lights?
Also: I´m using very high value spotlights, and point lights..none of which appear at (.gbl) file export.
Please help.
I have a Silverlight 5 application, it is an image viewing system photographers use to show their images to their customers. My photographers want to be able to change the styling of the application. At a minimum they want both a light and dark option, in the end, they want a lot more customization then that.
I have used styles within the application (yes, there is a lot of clean up that needs to be done) but once I have one xaml file with all the colors, how do I set it up so that the customer can pick between to different looks, the light and the dark?
Does anyone know of any examples out there on how to do this?
Chris, you hit the nail on the head with that link! I didn't know there was such a thing as DynamicResource, which lead me to what I am seeking:

I'm testing the last demo version to know the possibility of integration with our products.
When I try to export to pdf, I get a gray square that does not appear in the preview.
I tried to change options on the component but without success.
Is this behavior a bug or is it because I use a trial version?
Any help would be appreciated.
Together with an illustrator I want to create some screens with lots of animations/transitions (moving sprites). I need the illustrator to do the animation. He knows how to use AfterEffects so best would be some kind of timeline-tool to create the transitions/scalings/alphas etc.
My question is now: Is there some kind of tool out there that could be used to create animations and then export the used parameters to objective-c to import it to xcode?
Thanx!
To my knowledge: No.
We spend some time a couple of months back trying to find something similar to Expression blend, just for iOS, but without luck.
If you however are planing to make your app for MacOS and not iOS you can take a look at quartz composer. For iOS you could also take a look at storyboard (here is a link to fairly good tutorial), but I'm afraid your needs will not be met by the features of storyboard.
I found Flash2Cocos2D and I think this is the best solution available right now.
Also promissing: cocosbuilder!
I'd like to implement a spinner control (something along these lines) in Silverlight 4 to display during pending operations. There are several examples on the web for Silverlight 3 but I'm either unable to compile them into my project or they just flat out display nothing. In addition I'm unable to find any examples specific to Silverlight 4.
Can someone please post a sample for Silverlight 4 or a link to one?
You can use the BusyIndicator.

Custom Busyindicator style in Silverlight 4
I found a good example of a spinner control here. It's very simple and may not be ideal but it works perfect for my purposes. It's a XAML-only solution so it is very easy to port.
If you decide to use it, then I'd like to echo one of the commenters' suggestions that you change the <Grid> to a <Viewbox> so that the spinner will scale automatically.
I've put together a pure xaml spinner out of another example I've found ( see source ). It works on silverlight 4 and moonlight 4 too.

Slightly nicer visual than the "rotate some rectangles" approach.
