PowerPivot formula for row wise weighted average - powerpivot

I have a table in PowerPivot which contains the logged data of a traffic control camera mounted on a road. This table is filled the velocity and the number of vehicles that pass this camera during a specific time(e.g. 14:10 - 15:25). Now I want to know that how can I get the average velocity of cars for an specific hour and list them in a separate table with 24 rows(hour 0 - 23) where the second column of each row is the weighted average velocity of that hour? A sample of my stat_table data is given below:
count vel hour
----- --- ----
133 96.00237 15
117 91.45705 21
81 81.90521 6
2 84.29946 21
4 77.7841 18
1 140.8766 17
2 56.14951 14
6 71.72839 13
4 64.14309 9
1 60.949 17
1 77.00728 21
133 100.3956 6
109 100.8567 15
54 86.6369 9
1 83.96901 17
10 114.6556 21
6 85.39127 18
1 76.77993 15
3 113.3561 2
3 94.48055 2
In a separate PowerPivot table I have 24 rows and 2 columns but when I enter my formula, the whole rows get updated with the same number. My formula is:
=sumX(FILTER(stat_table, stat_table[hour]=[hour]), stat_table[count] * stat_table[vel])/sumX(FILTER(stat_table, stat_table[hour]=[hour]), stat_table[count])

Create a new calculated column named "WeightedVelocity" as follows
WeightedVelocity = [count]*[vel]
Create a measure "WeightedAverage" as follows
WeightedAverage = sum(stat_table[WeightedVelocity]) / sum(stat_table[count])
Use measure "WeightedAverage" in VALUES area of pivot Table and use "hour" column in ROWS to get desired result.

Group rows using the cumulative sum of a third column

I have a table with two columns:
sort_column = A column I use for sorting
value_column = My metric of interest (a positive integer)
Using SQL, I need to create contiguous groups of rows, ordered by sort_column, such that the sum of value_column within each group is the largest possible but staying below 100 (100 not included).
Find below an example of my desired result.
Thanks

Ok, so after a few lengthy attempts, I came to the conclusion the task is impossible with pure SQL, because a given value of the desired column depends on previous values of that same column, in a way that cannot be obtained from the first two columns alone, so the problem is impossible to tackle without using a recursive CTE, which BigQuery does not support.
I solved the issue by writing a javascript UDF for the task. It seems to be working fine and produces the expected results.
Many thanks everyone!

Is it possible to set a dynamic window frame bound in SQL OVER(ROW BETWEEN ...)-Clause?

Consider the following table, describing a patients medication plan. For example, the first row describes that the patient with patient_id = 1 is treated from timestamp 0 to 4. At time = 0, the patient has not yet become any medication (kum_amount_start = 0). At time = 4, the patient has received a kumulated amount of 100 units of a certain drug. It can be assumed, that the drug is given in with a constant rate. Regarding the first row, this means that the drug is given with a rate of 25 units/h.

I want to add the two columns "kum_amount_start_last_6hr" and "kum_amount_end_last_6hr" that describe the amount that has been given within the last 6 hours of the treatment (for the respective timestamps start, end).
I'm stuck with this problem for a while now.
I tried to tackle it with something like this
SUM(kum_amount) OVER (PARTITION BY patient_id ROWS BETWEEN "dynmaic window size" AND CURRENT ROW)
but I'm not sure whether this is the right approach.
I would be very happy if you could help me out here, thanks!

Pentaho PRD - Summing Group'ed Values w/o Using SQL (Object-Based Datasource)

In Pentaho's PRD, I am working with an object datasource (i.e. I do not have a SQL query I may edit to group the data). To realize the required report, I must group the data within the PRD (OK) and only show these grouped values (OK). How can I sum the group values in the group headers to generate totals (MY PROBLEM) when there are multiple records per group? Here is a simplified example:
Assume the dataset I provide to the PRD is:
X 42 1
X 42 2
X 42 3
Y 10 12
Y 10 7
Z 8 22
Z 8 92
So, I need to display groups based upon column 1 and 2 only.
Column 3 is excluded; but, I can't remove it from the dataset.
Then, I must provide a total for the 2nd column, as follows:
X 42
Y 10
Z 8
---------
Total 60

Need query to find rows that may have 4, 5 or 6 consecutive numbers

Trying to come up with a query that will find rows that contain 4, 5 or 6 consecutive numbers.
For example: Table MyNumbers contains 6 columns of number combinations from 1 to 52.
Cloumn names are: nbr1 nbr2 nbr3 nbr4 nbr5 nbr6
Row one contains: 1 5 43 50 51 52
Row two contains: 41 42 43 44 45 52 <----- five consecutive numbers
Row three contains: 8 14 38 39 42 50
Row four contains: 1 2 3 4 15 29 <----- four consecutive numbers
Row five contains: 8 14 24 36 48 51
Row six contains: 1 2 3 4 5 6 <----- six consecutive numbers
Need to come up with a query that would find rows 2, 4 and 6 based on containing a result set where there were 4 or more consecutive numbers in that row.
I created a database that contains all possible combinations for a 6 numbers out of 52 (1 to 52). What I would like to do is eliminate rows that have four or more numbers that are consecutive. So I am not sure above would do the trick. For those that asked, I am using sql server 2008 R2.
Assuming the numbers are always increasing, and not repeating
select *
from mynumbers
where nbr4 - nbr1 = 3
or nbr5 - nbr2 = 3
or nbr6 - nbr3 = 3
I took the liberty of simplifying it to the fact that for a series of 6 consecutive numbers, there must already be a series of 4 consecutive numbers.

SQL Query- Partition into groups & calculate max- min value

Need your help with a SQL query in Oracle db. I have data that I want to partition into groups when event = "Start". E.g. Row 1-6 is a group, row 7-9 is a group. I want to ignore rows with event = "Ignore". Finally I want to calculate max(Value)-min(Value) for these groups. I dont have any way to group the data.
Can this be achieved? Is it possible to use partition by Event = start. Same data is below:
Row Event Value Required Result is max-min of value
1 Start 10
2 A 11
3 B 12
4 C 13
5 D 14
6 E 15 5
--------------------------------------------
7 Start 16
8 A 18
9 B 20 4
--------------------------------------------
10 Start 27
11 A 30
12 B 33
13 C 34 7
--------------------------------------------
14 Ignore 35
--------------------------------------------
15 Ignore 36
--------------------------------------------
16 Start 33
17 A 34
18 B 35
19 C 36
20 D 37
21 E 38 5
--------------------------------------------
Yes, you can do this in SQL.
The following query first finds the group that a row is in, by finding the largest start before the row id. This version uses a correlated subquery for this calculation.
It then does the grouping on the id and does the calculation.
select groupid, max(value) - min(value)
from (select t.*,
(select max(row) from t t2 where t2.row < t.row and t2.event = start
) as groupid
from t
) t
where event <> 'IGNORE'
