Can not Extract json array properly in message Enricher mule esb - mule

I tried to extract json array data using message enricher. But in output I got some object data.How can I fetch properly?
Following is my flow
<flow name="readfileFlow1" doc:name="readfileFlow1">
<file:inbound-endpoint path="Test" moveToDirectory="Backup" responseTimeout="10000" doc:name="File"/>
<enricher source="#[(name in payload.data)]" target="#[flowVars.myMap]" doc:name="Message Enricher">
<json:json-to-object-transformer returnClass="java.util.HashMap" doc:name="JSON to Object"/>
</enricher>
<logger message="#[payload.toString()]" level="INFO" doc:name="Logger"/>
</flow>
When I print in logger then I got following output
INFO 2015-04-29 13:01:20,409 [[readfile].readfileFlow1.stage1.02] org.mule.api.processor.LoggerMessageProcessor: org.mule.transport.file.ReceiverFileInputStream#15bc5cc
How can I extract properly all name
I tried using for each . Using for each I can extract succesfully. But want to use message enricher. How can I do this using message enricher MVEL??
My json data is as follow..
{
"data":[
{
"id" : "1",
"name": "AAA"
},
{
"id" : "5",
"name": "DDD"
},
{
"id" : "6",
"name": "CCC"
},
]
}

I have done this..
silly mistake I made..
Following is my answer
<logger message="#[flowVars.myMap]" level="INFO" doc:name="Logger"/>

This is how you can achieve to extract name and id from your JSON payload .. you will get it in logger
<flow name="readfileFlow1" doc:name="readfileFlow1">
<file:inbound-endpoint path="Test" moveToDirectory="Backup" responseTimeout="10000" doc:name="File"/>
<enricher source="#[message.payload]" target="#[flowVars.myMap]" doc:name="Message Enricher">
<processor-chain doc:name="Processor Chain">
<json:json-to-object-transformer returnClass="java.util.HashMap" doc:name="JSON to Object"/>
<foreach collection="#[payload.data]">
<logger level="INFO" message="Name :- #[payload.name] and Id:- #[payload.id]"/>
</foreach>
</processor-chain>
</enricher>
<logger level="INFO" message="#[flowVars.myMap]"/>
</flow>
One more thing you JSON payload is not valid.. try to remove an extra , at the end .. so your valid JSON file will be :-
{
"data":[
{
"id" : "1",
"name": "AAA"
},
{
"id" : "5",
"name": "DDD"
},
{
"id" : "6",
"name": "CCC"
}
]
}

Choice Router Expression Mule

I am building an api to which i am sending a json request as below :
{
"type":"string",
"code": 101
}
I am using a choice router and i am routing the message based in the code .
i.e if code is not 101 and 100 then when condition will be executed
When Expression is - #[json:code != 101 && json:code != 100]
but even if code is 103 the above experession is returning true.
I'm assuming your comment "code is in double quotes" means the payload is like this:
{
"type": "string",
"code": "100"
}
If so, I'd recommend you convert it to Java and work from there. If the code is a string you need to acount for that as 100 != '100':
<json:json-to-object-transformer returnClass="java.util.Map" doc:name="JSON to Object"/>
<choice doc:name="Choice - Code?">
<when expression="#[payload.code != '101' && payload.code != '100']">
<logger level="INFO" doc:name="Logger - Do this"/>
</when>
<otherwise>
<logger level="INFO" doc:name="Logger - Do that"/>
</otherwise>
</choice>
Use Json to Object transformer before using JSON payload
Use (and , or) instead of (&&,||) for Logical operators in mule: DataWeaveLogicalOperators
xml config code,
<json:json-to-object-transformer returnClass="java.util.Map" doc:name="json to obj"/>
<choice doc:name="Choice">
<when expression="#[payload.code != 101 and payload.code != 100]">
<logger level="INFO" doc:name="logger"/>
</when>
<otherwise>
<logger level="INFO" doc:name="default"/>
</otherwise>
</choice>

Many inputs to one output with Mule DataMapper

Friends,
I have two inputs, A and B, both JSON.
I need to generate with DataMapper, a single output (custom) also in JSON format.
Example:
My Input A:
{
"name": "John Doe",
"age": "40"
}
My Input B:
{
"country": "Brazil"
"city": "Rio de Janeiro"
}
My Custom Output:
{
"customerName": "John Doe",
"customerAge": "40",
"customerCountry": "Brazil",
"customerCity": "Rio de Janeiro"
}
It can generate this output using the Mule DataMapper? How to?
At the time, I know use only one Input with DataMapper.
You need to take one of the input as the payload and the other as the variable.
My Payload was
{
"name": "John Doe",
"age": "40"
}
My Variable was
{
"country": "Brazil"
"city": "Rio de Janeiro"
}
Please find the below sample that I tested and works.
<flow name="combineFlow">
<http:listener config-ref="HTTP_Listener_Configuration"
path="/testings" doc:name="HTTP" />
<logger message="Coming here " level="INFO" doc:name="Logger" />
<set-variable variableName="mypayload"
value="{"country": "Brazil","city": "Rio de Janeiro"}"
doc:name="Variable" mimeType="application/json" />
<logger level="INFO" doc:name="Logger" />
<dw:transform-message doc:name="Transform Message">
<dw:set-payload>%dw 1.0
%output application/json
---
{
"customerName": payload.name,
"customerAge": payload.age,
"customerCountry": flowVars.mypayload.country,
"customerCity": flowVars.mypayload.city
}</dw:set-payload>
</dw:transform-message>
</flow>
Hope this helps
Slightly similar with previous answer: you need to take one input as payload and another one as variable.
Following is the implementation using DataMapper (not DataWeave/Transform Message)
XML:
<flow name="genericFlow">
<http:listener config-ref="HTTP_Listener_Configuration" path="/dm" doc:name="HTTP" allowedMethods="POST"/>
<set-variable variableName="inputB"
value="#['{"country": "Brazil", "city": "Rio de Janeiro"}']" mimeType="application/json"
doc:name="Input B" />
<data-mapper:transform config-ref="JSON_To_JSON" doc:name="JSON To JSON">
<data-mapper:input-arguments>
<data-mapper:input-argument key="inputBjson">#[new org.json.JSONObject(flowVars.inputB)]</data-mapper:input-argument>
</data-mapper:input-arguments>
</data-mapper:transform>
<echo-component doc:name="Echo" />
</flow>
GRF:
...
<Dictionary>

</Dictionary>
...
<attr name="melScript">//MEL
//START -> DO NOT REMOVE
output.__id = input.__id;
//END -> DO NOT REMOVE
output.customerName = input.name;
output.customerAge = input.age;
output.customerCountry = inputArguments.inputBjson.getString("country");
output.customerCity = inputArguments.inputBjson.getString("city");</attr>
Notes: input B is registered to DataMapper as Input Argument with Type = Object (MEL only), and its class is: org.json.JSONObject
One input give it as payload and other one use message properties and store the second input values as variable.Now inside data mapper use the variable in input argument field and map it.Simple!! hope it helps.

mule http endpoint post data

<http:inbound-endpoint exchange-pattern="request-response" host="localhost" port="8081" doc:name="HTTP" contentType="application/x-www-form-urlencoded" path="getDetails" />
<object-to-string-transformer doc:name="Object to String"/>
<logger message=" Logging ...... #[message:payload]" level="INFO" doc:name="Logger"/>
i invoke thru chrome rest client
http://localhost:8081/getDetails
METHOD : post
below is json data
{
"id": "1",
"firstName": "xyz",
"lastName": "abc",
"address":"xy"
}
whatever json data i passed , i just want to print for processing . but
In logging it shows null payload
any suggesstion are welcome
I tested your scenario with the following :-
<flow name="Flow1" doc:name="Flow1">
<http:inbound-endpoint exchange-pattern="request-response" host="localhost" port="8081" doc:name="HTTP" contentType="application/x-www-form-urlencoded" path="getDetails" />
<object-to-string-transformer doc:name="Object to String"/>
<logger message=" Logging ...... #[message:payload]" level="INFO" doc:name="Logger"/>
</flow>
And I got it in the log as bellow :-
You have probably posted in the same question in another thread too.
Please read comments in mule post json data to mule endpoint url
After http:inBound you need to convert it to json using object to string transformer

mule json payload to db values returns null from REST

My mule flow:
<flow name="classmappingFlow1" doc:name="classmappingFlow1">
<http:inbound-endpoint exchange-pattern="request-response" host="${hostname}" port="${port}" path="insertClass" connector-ref="ConnectorWithoutMuleSession" doc:name="HTTP"/>
<jersey:resources doc:name="REST">
<component class="com.mycompany.mulesoft.rest.AccountMappingService"/>
</jersey:resources>
<json:json-to-object-transformer doc:name="JSON to Object"/>
<logger message="Payload======#[payload]" level="INFO" doc:name="Logger"/>
<logger message="=====Company===#[payload.Company]" level="INFO" doc:name="Logger"/>
<db:insert config-ref="Oracle_Configuration" doc:name="Database">
<db:parameterized-query>insert into SIAS_CONFIGURATION values(1, 1,1234,#[payload.Company],'Y','N','Y','you',sysdate,'you',sysdate)</db:parameterized-query>
</db:insert>
</flow>
Console:
Payload======[{"Company":"KLM","Class":"Y","Location":"N","Department":"Y","EmplId":"1234"}]
=====Company===null
JSON Data:
[
{
"Company":"KLM",
"Class":"Y",
"Location":"N",
"Department":"Y",
"EmplId":"1234"
}
]
Rest Component:
#POST
#Path("/setClass")
#Consumes(MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON)
#Produces(MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON)
public String classSettings(#Payload String content){
return content;
}
Issue: I am getting null values and no data(empty) inserted to db
Use returnClass="java.util.List" in json:json-to-object-transformer after jersey:resources like the following :-
<json:json-to-object-transformer returnClass="java.util.List" doc:name="JSON to Object"/>
