Error occurred creating story: "Cannot parse object reference from", Rally - rally

I am trying to create user stories in rally by java. Am failing to get response and it throwing " Cannot parse object reference from ".
Brief on my rally : Let assume I have Project name "Characters" and its has subs as A, B, C, D. I have to create my user stories in C. Is my following code correct in this prospect? Can anyone please help?
package samplerally;
import java.io.IOException;

import com.rallydev.rest.RallyRestApi;
import com.rallydev.rest.request.CreateRequest;
import com.rallydev.rest.request.GetRequest;
import com.rallydev.rest.response.CreateResponse;
import com.rallydev.rest.util.Ref;
public class CreateStory {
public static void main(String[] args) throws URISyntaxException,IOException {
String host = "https://rally1.rallydev.com";
String username = "name#comp.com";
String password = "password";
String wsapiVersion = "v2.0";
String applicationName = "C";
RallyRestApi restApi = new RallyRestApi(new URI(host),username,password);
restApi.setWsapiVersion(wsapiVersion);
restApi.setApplicationName(applicationName);
try {
for (int i = 0; i < 3; i++) {
// Add a story
System.out.println("Creating a story...");
JsonObject newStory = new JsonObject();
newStory.addProperty("Name", "my story");
newStory.addProperty("Project", "Characters");
CreateRequest createRequest = new CreateRequest("hierarchicalrequirement", newStory);
CreateResponse createResponse = restApi.create(createRequest);
System.out.println("Response ::: "+createResponse.wasSuccessful());
if (createResponse.wasSuccessful()) {
System.out.println(String.format("Created %s",createResponse.getObject().get("_ref").getAsString()));
// Read story
String ref = Ref.getRelativeRef(createResponse.getObject().get("_ref").getAsString());
System.out.println(String.format("\nReading Story %s...",ref));
GetRequest getRequest = new GetRequest(ref);
} else {
String[] createErrors;
createErrors = createResponse.getErrors();
System.out.println("Error occurred creating story: ");
for (int j = 0; j < createErrors.length; j++) {
System.out.println(createErrors[j]);
}
}
}
} finally {
// Release all resources
restApi.close();
}
}
}
And I am getting error as :

Please help. New to rally. Thanks in advance

When setting reference fields such as Project, Iteration, Release, WorkProduduct, Parent, etc that point to full objects use the reference,and not the Name.
Find out the unique ObjectID of the Project "C", e.g. 123456.
Replace:
newStory.addProperty("Project", "Characters");
with
newStory.addProperty("Project", "/project/123456");
To find ObjectID of a project you may either query by its name in WS API, or look at the URL of one of Rally pages in the address bar, while in that project, e.g. URL of a Backlog page: https://rally1.rallydev.com/#/123456/backlog
If there is a d or u appended to ObjectID string, e.g. 123456d, do not include it in string. In the URL it indicates if you are currently scoping up or down.

Migration from Spring Batch 3 to 4

I'm trying to migrate from Spring Batch 3.0.6 to 4.1.1.
I'm stuck handling Spring Batch's execution context data as explained here.
What I would like is update tables batch_step_execution_context and batch_step_execution_context as follows, for each record :
unserialize context data using the deprecated XStreamExecutionContextStringSerializer
serialize the java object obtained using a jackson ObjectMapper
update the table using this new string
It has worked for some records and I could run Spring Batch 4. But for some jobs, the new string is not deserializable as a ExecutionContext.
Here is an example of such a string :
{
"setMoisAffaires":[
{
"premierJourDuMois":{
"date":1257030000000,
"stringFromDatePatternAmericain":"2009-11-01",
"hour":0,
"year":2009,
"dayOfMonth":1,
"dayOfWeek":7,
"dateString":"20091101",
"monthOfYear":11,
"minuteOfHour":0,
"secondOfMinute":0
},
"date":1257030000000,
"stringFromDatePatternAmericain":"2009-11-01",
"hour":0,
"year":2009,
"dayOfMonth":1,
"dayOfWeek":7,
"dateString":"200911",
"monthOfYear":11,
"minuteOfHour":0,
"secondOfMinute":0
},
//a lot of records like the previous...
],
"batch.taskletType":"com.sun.proxy.$Proxy57",
"batch.stepType":"org.springframework.batch.core.step.tasklet.TaskletStep"
}
Here is the trace when I try to do : ExecutionContext a = objectMapper.readValue(objectMapper.writeValueAsString(javaObject),ExecutionContext.class);

Here is an example of a step using such setMoisAffaires :
<bean id="jobname.jobstep" parent="jobItemParent"
class="fr.mycompany.myapp.collecte.batch.jobname.jobstep" scope="step">
<property name="setMoisAffaires" value="#{stepExecutionContext['setMoisAffaires']}" />
</bean>
What has been serialized with XStream is not necessarily deserializable with Jackson. So I'm not sure how you can solve this issue. See breaking change note here.
EDIT: After adding a minimal complete verifiable example
The XStreamExecutionContextStringSerializer#deserialize returns a Map<String, Object> of the key/value pairs of the old execution context. I would this map directly as input to the Jackson serializer instead of marshalling it to a String and then creating it back from a String. Here is how I updated the test:

import java.io.ByteArrayInputStream;
import java.io.ByteArrayOutputStream;
import java.util.Map;
import com.fasterxml.jackson.databind.ObjectMapper;

Consume tensor-flow serving inception model using C# client (PREDICT API)

I have been trying to implement a C# client application to interact with Tensorflow serving server for few weeks now with no success. I have a Python client which works successfully but I can not replicate its functionality with C#. The Python client
import requests
#import json
from keras.preprocessing.image import img_to_array, array_to_img, load_img
from keras.preprocessing import image
flowers = 'c:/flower_photos/cars/car1.jpg'
image1 = img_to_array(image.load_img(flowers, target_size=(128,128))) / 255
payload = {
"instances": [{"image":image1.tolist()},
]
}
print("sending request...")
r = requests.post('http://localhost:8501/v1/models/flowers/versions/1:predict', json=payload)
print(r.content)
The server responds correctly. I am using Tensorflow version 1.12.0 with corresponding latest serving image. They are all working fine.
According to REST API documentation, the API structure is given but its not clear to me at all. I need to send the image to server. How could I add the image payload to JSON request in C# ? After going through many sites, I found that image should be in base64string.
So I did the image conversion into base64
private string GetBase64ImageBytes(string ImagePath)
{
using (Image image = Image.FromFile(ImagePath))
{
using (MemoryStream m = new MemoryStream())
{
image.Save(m, image.RawFormat);
byte[] imageBytes = m.ToArray();
// Convert byte[] to Base64 String
string base64String = Convert.ToBase64String(imageBytes);
return base64String;
}
}
}
The request portion is as follows : (server responds with metadata correctly for the GET request)
public string PostImageToServerAndClassify(string imageArray)
{
//https://stackoverflow.com/questions/9145667/how-to-post-json-to-a-server-using-c
string result = null;
string ModelName = cmbProjectNames.Text.Replace(" ", "");
string status_url = String.Format("http://localhost:{0}/v1/models/{1}/versions/{2}:predict", txtPort.Text, ModelName, txtVersion.Text);
var httpWebRequest = (HttpWebRequest)WebRequest.Create(status_url);
httpWebRequest.ContentType = "application/json";
httpWebRequest.Method = "POST";
try
{
using (var streamWriter = new StreamWriter(httpWebRequest.GetRequestStream()))
{
// string json = "{"+ #"""instances""" + ": [{" + #"""image""" + #":" + imageArray + "}]}";
// imageArray = #""" + imageArray + #""";
string json = "{ " + #"""instances""" + ": [{" + #"""image""" + #": { " + #"""b64"": """ + imageArray + #"""}}]}";
streamWriter.Write(json);
streamWriter.Flush();
streamWriter.Close();
}
var httpResponse = (HttpWebResponse)httpWebRequest.GetResponse();
using (var streamReader = new StreamReader(httpResponse.GetResponseStream()))
{
result = streamReader.ReadToEnd();
}
}
catch (Exception ex)
{
result = ex.Message;
}
return result;
}
With the POST request, I get the error message "The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request.". Also server terminates its service. In Postman I get
the detailed error info as :
{ "error": "Failed to process element: 0 key: image of \'instances\' list. Error: Invalid argument: JSON Value: {\n \"b64\": \"/9j/4AAQSkZJRgABAQEAAAAAAAD/4QBSRXhpZgAATU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAAZKGAAcAAAAcAAAALAAAAABVTklDT0RFAABBAHAAcABsAGUATQBhAHIAaw ... .....(image string data)
So this feels like that I am sending the incorrect data format.
Could someone please tell me what is wrong here ? Any example of image conversion and POST request is highly appreciated. I can not find anywhere that base64string format is the right format for the image in TF site. Python client data format is different hence really need to know what is the right format with any reference documents.
The nearest reference I found here with JAVA client but did not work with mine may be due to TF version difference.

Trying to get the Grails ldap-0.8.2 plugin to work for non-authentication searching of AD

I've been trying to get the ldap-0.8.2 or gldapo plugin to work with Grails 2.3.5 to perform a simple person search in AD. I'm not looking for authentication, just to build a person directory search form. I have close to a week now looking at old references to problems implementing this plugin and just can not seem to figure out what the right combination of fiery hoops to jump through are.
In BuildConfig.groovy I have:
compile ":ldap:0.8.2"
In Config.groovy I have:
import edu.fgcu.gtd.GldapoUser
ldap {
directories {
directory1 {
defaultDirectory = true
url = "ldap://FGCU-AMBERJACK.primary.ad.fgcu.edu"
userDn = "CN=******,OU=******,OU=******,OU=******,DC=**,DC=**,DC=***,DC=***"
password = "********"
searchControls {
countLimit = 40
timeLimit = 600
searchScope = "subtree"
}
}
}
schemas: [edu.fgcu.gtd.GldapoUser]
}
I have the following groovy file at path "Ldap/edu/fgcu/gtd/GldapoUser.groovy"
package edu.fgcu.gtd
import gldapo.schema.annotation.GldapoNamingAttribute
import gldapo.schema.annotation.GldapoSynonymFor
import gldapo.schema.annotation.GldapoSchemaFilter
/**
*
* #author pallen
*/
#GldapoSchemaFilter("(objectclass=person)")
class GldapoUser {
#GldapoSynonymFor("uid")
String username
#GldapoSynonymFor("cn")
String name
#GldapoSynonymFor("title")
String title
#GldapoSynonymFor("physicalDeliveryOfficeName")
String office
#GldapoSynonymFor("telephoneNumber")
String phone
#GldapoSynonymFor("mail")
String email
#GldapoSynonymFor("department")
String department
}
And then I have the following controller
package edu.fgcu.gtd
import edu.fgcu.gtd.GldapoUser
class PersonSearchController {
def index() {
render(view: "search")
}
def search() {
String searchString = params?.lastName + "*"
if (params.firstName){
searchString += "," + params.firstName + "*"
}
def List personSearchList = GldapoUser.findAll(
base: "OU=Florida Gulf Coast University,DC=primary,DC=ad,DC=fgcu,DC=edu") {
like "cn", searchString
}
respond personSearchList, model:[personSearchCount: personSearchList.count()]
}
}
When I run the application I receive the following error, which I have seen others reference, but none of the suggestions that I have found so far have helped me resolve this.
URI: /GroovyGTD/personSearch/search
Class: groovy.lang.MissingMethodException
Message: No signature of method: static edu.fgcu.gtd.GldapoUser.findAll() is applicable for argument types: (java.util.LinkedHashMap, edu.fgcu.gtd.PersonSearchController$_search_closure1) values: [[base:OU=Florida Gulf Coast University,DC=primary,DC=ad,DC=fgcu,DC=edu], ...] Possible solutions: findAll(), findAll(groovy.lang.Closure), find(), find(groovy.lang.Closure)
I'm relatively new to Grails, but am fairly adept with Java, and have worked through some difficult configurations for external libraries, but this plugin has me stumped.
Thanks in advance,
Paul
I was able to get it all to work.
First issue was the schemas comment. I had to put schemas = [ edu.fgcu.gtd.GldapoUser] in config.groovy.
Next I had to add a #GldapoNamingAttribute to my GldapoUser object for the "cn" attribute, and "uid" is not in my AD person entry so I got rid of it and used the "sAMAccountName" for username.
It is all working well after those few changes.

Jenkins - Email notifications

I'm trying to customize email using Groovy with the email-ext plugin. As I add new features to these emails, I may introduce errors in the scripts and so receive bad mails containing the StackTrace. So, I'd like to be able to send notifications on finished jobs as my jobs may take many hours (more than 4 currently).
Is there a way to ask jenkins to send notifications on finished jobs (using Groovy or any other scripting language)?
find a solution :
import java.text.SimpleDateFormat;
import java.util.GregorianCalendar;
import groovy.text.Template
import groovy.text.SimpleTemplateEngine
import javax.mail.*
import javax.mail.internet.*
//-------------- Job params --------------
projectName="YourProjectName";
buildNum = 10;
templateName="groovy-html-cobertura.template";
recipients="someone#somewhere.com";
sender="jenkins#somewhere.com";
smtpHost="mysmtphost";
//------------End Job params -------------
for (hudson.model.AbstractProject p : hudson.model.Hudson.instance.projects) {
if(p.name.equals(projectName)){
for (hudson.model.AbstractBuild b : p.getBuilds() ) {
if(b.getNumber() == buildNum){
println b;
b.reload();
def binding = [ "build" : b,
"project" : b.getProject(),
"rooturl" : hudson.model.Hudson.getInstance().getRootUrl(),
"it" : new hudson.plugins.emailext.plugins.content.ScriptContentBuildWrapper(b),
"spc" : " " ]
def engine = new SimpleTemplateEngine()
java.io.File file = new java.io.File(hudson.model.Hudson.getInstance ().getRootPath().getBaseName()+"/email-templates/"+templateName);
mailBody = engine.createTemplate(file.getText()).make(binding).toString();
port = 25
props = new Properties()
props.put('mail.smtp.host', smtpHost)
props.put('mail.smtp.port', port.toString())
session = Session.getDefaultInstance(props, null)
// Construct the message
msg = new MimeMessage(session)
msg.from = new InternetAddress(sender)
msg.sentDate = new Date()
msg.subject = 'Template Test'
msg.setRecipient(Message.RecipientType.TO, new InternetAddress(recipients))
msg.setHeader('Organization', 'i-BP')
msg.setContent(mailBody,
'text/html')
// Send the message

jmeter testcases which can handle captcha?

We are trying to build a jmeter testcase which does the following:
login to a system
obtain some information and check whether correct.
Where we are facing issues is because there is a captcha while logging into the system. What we had planned to do was to download the captcha link and display, and wait for user to type in the value. Once done, everything goes as usual.
We couldnt find any plugin that can do the same? Other than writing our own plugin, is there any option here?
I was able to solve it myself. The solution is as follows:
Create a JSR223 PostProcessor (using Groovy)
more practical CAPTCHA example with JSESSIONID handling and proxy setting
using image.flush() to prevent stale CAPTCHA image in dialog box
JSR223 Parameters for proxy connection setting:
Parameters: proxy 10.0.0.1 8080
In it, the following code displays the captcha and waits for user input
import java.awt.Image;
import java.awt.Toolkit;
import javax.swing.Icon;
import javax.swing.JOptionPane;
import org.apache.jmeter.threads.JMeterContextService;
import org.apache.jmeter.threads.JMeterContext;
import org.apache.jmeter.protocol.http.control.CookieManager;
import org.apache.jmeter.protocol.http.control.Cookie;
URL urlTemp ;
urlTemp = new URL( "https://your.domainname.com/endpoint/CAPTCHACode");
HttpURLConnection myGetContent = null;
if(args[0]=="proxy" ){
Proxy proxy = new Proxy(Proxy.Type.HTTP, new InetSocketAddress(args[1], Integer.parseInt(args[2])));
myGetContent = (HttpURLConnection) urlTemp.openConnection(proxy);
}else{

}
// false for http GET
myGetContent.setDoOutput(false);
myGetContent.connect();
int status = myGetContent.getResponseCode();
log.info("HTTP Status Code: "+Integer.toString(status));
if (status == HttpURLConnection.HTTP_OK) {
//We have 2 Set-Cookie headers in response message but 1 Set-Cookie entry in Map

parts2 = parts[0].split("=",2)
Cookie cookie = new Cookie("JSESSIONID",parts2[1],"your.domainname.com","/endpoint",true,0, true, true, 0);
manager.add(cookie);
log.info( cookie.toString() );

}
}
}
}//end of outer for loop

throw new Exception("The Response Header not contain Set-Cookie:JSESSIONID= .");
}
}else{

}
BufferedInputStream bins = new BufferedInputStream(myGetContent.getInputStream());

boolean fileDeleted = f.delete();
log.info("delete file ... ");
log.info(String.valueOf(fileDeleted));
}
FileOutputStream fout =new FileOutputStream(destFile);
int m = 0;
byte[] bytesIn = new byte[1024];
while ((m = bins.read(bytesIn)) != -1) {
fout.write(bytesIn, 0, m);
}
fout.close();
bins.close();
log.info("File " +destFile +" downloaded successfully");
Image image = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getImage(destFile);
image.flush(); // release the prior cache of Captcha image
Icon icon = new javax.swing.ImageIcon(image);
JOptionPane pane = new JOptionPane("Enter Captcha", 0, 0, null);
String captcha = pane.showInputDialog(null, "Captcha", "Captcha", 0, icon, null, null);
captcha = captcha.trim();
captcha = captcha.replaceAll("\r\n", "");
log.info(captcha);
vars.put("captcha", captcha);
myGetContent.disconnect();
By vars.put method we can use the captcha variable in any way we want. Thank you everyone who tried to help.
Since CAPTHA used to detect non-humans, JMeter will always fail it.
You have to make a workaround in your software: either disable captcha requesting or print somewhere on page correct captcha. Of course, only for JMeter tests.
Dirty workaround? Print the captcha value in alt image for the tests. And then you can retrieve the value and go on.
