i'm trying display diffirent banner on diffirent home page by css
i use %%GLOBAL_PageId%% to display page id but it is not work no thing to display,
%%GLOBAL_PageId%% just work on contact page only
please help,
I check for:
%%GLOBAL_PageNumber%% to check if it is a blog post
%%GLOBAL_PageTitle%% to check if this is a static page (like you mentioned contact page)
%%GLOBAL_CatId%% to check if it is a category page
If none of the above are set, I assume it is a product page. But there are also login, wishlist and other predefined bigcommerce pages that I don't know how can be tracked.

I am using one of the woodmart built-in themes and have 2 issues (I think they are so easy to do but couldn’t find any solution on internet which works well) one is about register page link on the sidebar login are and the logout confirmation.
When you go to our website which is http://www.fitovision.com and click on Login/Register button on the right top of the page a sidebar widget comes out. I have changed the Create An Account link to my custom page but because I did this on the integration page of woocommerce to the theme, when I get any update it goes back. So looking for a hook or function codes to add to the child theme functions page to keep it there forever even if I get any update. Could you please tell me how to do that? I have asked this to the theme editors support page but they said it belongs to woocommerce so asked me to open a ticket here.
Second one is when you login to the page we have an dropdown menu on the top on the place of Login/Register link. And there is Log Out link on the at dropdown menu. When I click it it goes to My Account page and when I click there again it logs out. I have read and applied too many ways to bypass the logout confirmation on first click but none of them worked as I realised that they were all old dated posts. So I thought after some time and your updates it should be forced by the wocoommerce to do it. But my clients definitely do not want it. Is there again anything else I can do for that to log out on the first click? And keep it there with adding to the child theme functions page?
Thank you for replies instead.

I am trying to simply edit the format (float from left to center and remove two column layout into one column) of my about page on my Shopify site.
I have edited the html of the page directly using chrome dev tools (to confirm what I am doing is going to make the page look like I want it to).
My issue is that Shopify has a specific global section in the admin where you can edit just the content of the about page. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find anything on that page that allows me to edit the pages code directly.
And when I look at the theme code for the main site, I cannot find any .liquid files that seem to be related to the about page.
Anybody with Shopify coding experience able to point me in the right direction?
I have a client request to add manageable content to the login page. I assume this would work like managing any other page, simply create a section with the necessary schema and markup, then include that section ({% section 'section_name' %}) in the customers/login.liquid theme template. Problem is I don't see an option to select the login page in the page selection drop-down when customizing the theme. How do I allow my client to customize the login page via sections?
Thanks!
The actual login template cannot have manageable sections.
The closest workaround is to create a custom page template that includes a login form. The page can include manageable sections that are accessible when customizing the theme. The only issue is that all the automatically generated login url links will not go to this page, so any instances of those links need to be adjusted in the theme.
You can manually tell the customizer where to go by adding a hash(#) at the end of the url, followed by the shopify site path you want to visit/edit.
https://<domain>.myshopify.com/admin/themes/<theme-id>/editor#/account/login
Once you enter this in the browser url bar, you'll need to hit enter twice to get the page to reload properly.
If you do this and find it keeps sending you back to the homepage, it means that accounts are disabled on the Shopify store. You can change this by going to:
Shopify Admin > Settings > Checkout > Customer accounts
Then selecting either: Accounts are optional // Account are required
I have a Joomla website with virtuemart. The front page has featured products. Now I want to be able to show more at my front page. I made an article with a picture in it. I want it also to display at the homepage at the same time as the featured products module, say above it. So basically multiple things at the front page. Now I could hardcode it in, but I want to be able to make it as article as it is easier and faster editable.
The solution is Module,
Just create a module , with params as article id options.
Means create a module with parameter option that you can set the article Id, then simply assign that module to the Home Page.
Inside your module Just read the article id and fetch those article details.
For the module development tutorial you can check this.
Hope its helps..
I am trying to put a Google+ badge on my recently created websites at sites.google.com. When I copy the code and paste it into the HTML box actually nothing happens.
What am I doing wrong?
You can use to insert a Google+ Badge into your Google Sites pages using a custom gadget:
Get your Google+ profile ID, which you can get from the URL of your profile. The ID would be 123456789012345678901 for this URL: https://plus.google.com/123456789012345678901/ or would be +LarryPage for this URL: https://plus.google.com/+LarryPage/
Edit the page that you want to add the badge
Choose Insert-> ...More gadgets...
Search for G+ Badge.
Paste your profile ID into the G+ ID field.
Configure additional options as necessary for your page. You might need to adjust dimensions of the gadget container to get the badge to work well in your site.
Gadgets have limitations, this might not work perfectly but its probably the best way to get a badge onto your page.
There is a configuration tool for the Google+ Badge that you can find at https://developers.google.com/+/web/badge/.
The key points are that you need to add the HTML as a widget and include the JavaScript tag--which is the same JavaScript that loads any of our Google+ attributes.
I also made a 3 minute video explaining these steps last year, which you can view at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLG4IIIPgnc.
