I need and try to install the IBM MobileFirst Platform Studio plugin in the Rational Software Developer for WebSphere 9.0.0 application, but I can not.
I've tried using the Help Menu - Installing new software, any URL I enter are valid, not located in the repository
I could install it in RAD 9.0 through the Help menu - Eclipse Marketplace ... and I get to locate the IBM MobileFirst Platform Studio software, but when trying to install shows three packages (IBM Dojo Mobile Tools, IBM Jquery Mobile Tools and IBM MobileFirst Platform Studio). I try all possible combinations with packages and trying to install it shows me an error.

I've tried with a zip with the plugin, I have introduced in RAD 9.0 plugins folder, but to restart the program, nothing happens.

That is an unsupported configuration. MobileFirst Platform Foundation Studio 7.0 does not install into a Rtional Applicaiton Developer instance (also known as eclipse shell sharing). They must be installed into their own eclipse image.

I am trying to install SAP HANA development tools plug in from https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/neon url in Eclipse Oxygen Version.
But I am not able to install all the features. Encountering problem as with Install Remediation Dialog box and displaying the the some features list with caption as will not be installed.
Expecting all the 7 features to get installed but only Designer for SAP Cloud platform is getting installed.
Please help me out with the solution.

You said you're using the Neon-Repository with Eclipse Oxygen. Try the Repository for Oxygen and see if that works:

I tried your answer for the latest version of neon IBM Mobilefirst foundation studio in Eclipse Neon.1 Release (4.6.1) , but was unable to find the 8.0.0 plugin
Its not listed on the marketplace http://marketplace.eclipse.org/search/site/%2522mobilefirst%2522
Also, when I use the eclipse marketplace from the help menu, I cannot see it either. how do I install it? Please help
It seems that support is currently not available for Eclipse Neon.
Please downgrade to Eclipse Mars, where searching for "mobilefirst" in the Eclipse Marketplace section will find the MobileFirst Foundation 8.0 plug-in for installation.

I need to upload war project files and create runtime environment on the MF using Linux command shell (Putty) as I can't remote desktop the Linux server (BTW, is there any way to remote? I tried X11 but no success.)
Can you share the steps with commands to achieve this?

Worklight and MobileFirst Platform do not support Java 8 as your requirement
download to either Java 6 or 7 and try again (make sure Eclipse is also configured to use that version JRE)
I downloaded Rational Test Workbench Mobile Test Edition 8.6.0.
What is a compatible version of MobileFirst Platform Test Workbench for Worklight 6.2.0.01. ?
I have downloaded the test Workbench found in the Eclipse Market place. When I try to upload .apk file for testing in workbench it is not uploading.
It is showing an error but I am unable to know what the error is as I am unable to see it. My initial guess is that it is a version issue of Mobile Test Bench or any other issue?
Eclipse Marketplace always contains the latest versions of MobileFirst Platform Studio and MobileFirst Platform Test Workbench (6.3 and 8.6.0.1, respectively). Ideally you should move up to the latest versions of both. However, if you cannot and need to get an older version of Test Workbench, you'll need to download a zip file.
For Worklight 6.2.0 (datestamp June 2014), download Mobile Test Workbench for Worklight 8.5.1.3.
For Worklight 6.2.0.1 (datestamp Oct 2014), download Mobile Test Workbench for Worklight 8.6.
