CRM 2015 Customer Portal fails to import - dynamics-crm-2013

I recently installed CRM 2015 in order to develop a portal solution. According to the documentation I will have to first import the base portal to be able to do any work. According to the documentation, the portal will be found on the SDK directory and this was never the same. I downloaded the portal from pinpoint and tried uploading the MicrosoftXrmCustomerPortal_managed.zip. During importation it rolls back with the error
23:47:14.56 SDK Message Processing Step {e38be3eb-0b93-e111-b0d0-00155d03a708} CustomerPortal.Plugins.EventRegistration: Create of campaignresponse CustomerPortal.Plugins.EventRegistration: Create of campaignresponse Failure 0x80040217 plugintype With Id = 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 Does Not Exist
Any idea how to resolve this?

It appears that the dlls included in the solution have different Public keys than the entries in the solution.xml and customizations.xml files so while you wait for MS to release a corrected solution do the following.
Extract the contents of MicrosoftXrmCustomerPortal_managed.zip to disk.
Open the file solution.xml in your favourite editor.
Carry out a find and replace of PublicKeyToken=6d5f14a277660d59 with PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35
Then carry out a find and replace of PublicKeyToken=ace90226af8624d4 with PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35
Save the file and close it
Open the file customizations.xml then repeat steps 3 - 5.
Select all the files and folders in the extracted directory and re zip them.
Import the new zip file into dynamics crm.
Cheers

Where does the tool txt2pdf.exe store its configuration settings?

I am using txt2pdf to convert text files to pdfs. It's been working great but I got a new PC and I can't get it to retain the settings for lines per page. I don't see any contact information on their web site.
https://www.sanface.com/txt2pdf.html
Does anyone know where older program s might store their data?
I found it using a system file watcher:
C:\Users[user]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Windows\win.ini

Lightswitch lost data provider for data source connection

I have an odd situation on a VS upgrade from 2013 > 2015 outside of runtime.
App Type: MS Lightswitch HTML Client
DB Type: Oracle
Framework: 4.5
Story: I upgraded VS and replaced OPD.Net to the 2015 version. Works fine.
Then I converted my application. There were a lot of things to fix, but most were pretty easily remedied. I tested the application and it works as expected so I published to test server and everything checks out. Success! So I thought.
I want to continue developing the site. As I make db changes, they need to be reconciled to the intrinsic db in my project.
After clicking 'Update Database' I see this. So far so good.
What's expected is that after I hit 'Finish', all changes to the selected table should pull in to the lsml files. But this is what I get.
I've read a few places like The given key was not present in the dictionary, what key? [closed] but these all look like runtime remediations.
If I go back to the update screen and hit 'Previous', I get this.
I sifted through every freakin lsml file in text editor looking for where the provider is assigned. No luck. I also created a new proj to compare, nothing stood out. I also tried adding another data source which works fine. So ODP.net is not the issue. I am lost on what to do now. I searched all over the site, Google, for every error message with various tags. At this point I reach out to you, or anyone that may know what this is about.
Thanks ahead of time!
Note for future users upgrading a VS LS project with Oracle db.
Since a new version ODP.Net is required (in my case 2015), the provider name is going to change. To ensure LS knows the new provider, the data source lsml file needs to be updated. In my case I used GIT to help out. This is how I resolved it.
Steps:
After converting your project and replacing ODP.net to the current version.
Create a new data source using the new provider.
Save the project and re-open. This will cause lightswitch to recompile.
Open File Explorer and navigatye to the ProjectName.server folder. In a text editor (I used notepad) open the lsml files under ProjectName.server and there should be two lsml files (1 for the pre-existing and another for the new) or more if you have multiple sources.
Copy the connection properties of the new datasource to a new temp file on your desktop.
Roll back the entire solution using GIT or other source control.
Use text editor to open the lsml file for the original data source.
Update the GUID for DataProviderName with the values from the temp file in step 4.
Note: The connection string GUID should be left alone as it should match your GUID in the web.config file.
<DataService.ConnectionProperties>
<ConnectionProperty
Name="DataProviderName"
Value="9d8fdbb9-xxxx-4787-xxxx-49831d34ad4b" />
<ConnectionProperty
Name="ProviderInvariantName"
Value="Oracle.ManagedDataAccess.Client" />
<ConnectionProperty
Name="ConnectionStringGuid"
Value="36e67aca-xxxx-41a7-xxxx-a4546761b30d" />
<ConnectionProperty
Name="ProviderManifestToken"
Value="12.1" />
</DataService.ConnectionProperties>
Finally reload project and the changes should take effect allowing you to once again update your data source.
Thanks

A QuickBooks company data file is already open and it is different from the one requested

Using an application written in vb.net and using qbfc8 to connect into QB Enterprise 11. I am making a simple call to the company file to open and then close a connection. This should result in the QB application popping up a message asking if this application is allowed to have access to this file and then I am able to assign it to a specific user to sign in as.
This all works great except on this one particular server where I have yet to get it to ever popup the application request to access QBs. An error is always returned saying, "A QuickBooks company data file is already open and it is different from the one requested." with an error code of -2147220470.
I am using these instructions to access the file: http://support.quickbooks.intuit.com/support/pages/inproducthelp/Core/QB2K12/ContentPackage/Verticals/Retail/rr_sdkapp_access_preferences.html
Also I am in single-user mode while doing this: http://support.quickbooks.intuit.com/support/articles/SLN41168
On this server there are a few QB files but none of them should be being used right now, but is there a way to find out if there are any QB files being accessed on the server that is keeping the popup from appearing?
Thanks a ton!
There is not a direct way that I know of to see what company file is currently open (if any) without calling BeginSession and checking for errors. If you supply a company file name and a different company is open, you will get the "A QuickBooks company data file is already open and it is different from the one requested." error.
If you omit the company name when you call BeginSession, QuickBooks will use whatever company file is open and present the prompt(assuming the rights have not already been granted). However, if there is not a company file open, then you get an error "Could not start QuickBooks." (if QuickBooks isn't running at all), or "If the QuickBooks company data file is not open, a call to the "BeginSession" method must include the name of the data file." error if QuickBooks is open, but has no company file open.
Most programs will save the company file that they have been linked to, so they will pass the file name in their BeginSession call, and then check for the "A QuickBooks company data file is already open and it is different from the one requested." error and present the information in a clean way to the customer. For example, the QuickBooks POS software will prompt the customer if they want to continue using the old file that was setup previously, or if they want to link to the file that is currently open.
I resolved this by installing the application connecting to the QB file on the same server. Then (this is the important part of the recipe) I changed the path from the defaulted UNC path to a local path and it magically worked. (I hate magic! If someone could explain why this happens then that would be great.)
Now that I have the integrated application authorization for this app added into the QB file I am now able to access it from other work stations using the same app and using a UNC path to point to the file.

delete prestashop import csv files

Simple question: How can I delete the PrestShop import CSV files from the system?
I have tried with FTP as well, I could not locate the files.
It show many rows in the dropdown in the import window and I dont know enymore which is the newest of the same named file.
Your files will be located in admin/import/* (admin here is your backoffice directory, that used to be renamed in the older versions) directory, and deleting through FTP is the best way you can do this. I am not sure about the latest version of Presta, but the major one before it didn't have deletion of these files anywhere in GUI.
The newest file will be the uppermost when choosing in backoffice. The admin/import is where you'll find your csv files to delete all at once rather than one at a time in your back office. Lastly, your folder name may not be called,"admin" but will be called whatever you or for example, your autoinstaller of prestashop named it when you installed prestashop. It will be the same name that you use to login to your back office of prestashop (the name before the "#yoururl.com",".org", etc.

Any way to automate the process of opening a .mpp file and saving it as a .csv?

I need to find a way to automate the process when a user uploads a microsoft project file to a web application I already have created. The process will need to basically use the save as from project to save into a .csv file so I can use this to import the data to an SQL database (this is needed for custom reporting we already have set up using SQL). I need to automate this process because I will be receiving tons of project files, and if the process is automated the users will then be able to instantly see results.
Basically, is there any way to create or run an automated process that will save these project files as .csv files? Even if the csv files are not formatted correctly, I can find a way around that, just need to first get them into .csv files.
Thank you.
edit - the only way i could think of this is to follow the instructions listed below, but
I would then need to automate a process to open the file and hit save so this works... any other suggestions?

edit 2 - also looking into ways using Microsoft.Office.Interop.MSProject but not finding any luck.
edit 3 0 now using mpxj - the only issue I am having is the following listed below. Converting their example to vb.
Private Shared Function ToEnumerable(ByVal javaCollection As Collection) As EnumerableCollection
Return New EnumerableCollection(javaCollection)
End Function
the error is with EnumberableCollection - visual studio is not picking it up as a valid type - anything I am doing wrong or should substitute?
If you aren't wedded to using MS Project itself to extract data from the project files, you could consider using the MPXJ library. This would allow you to write a simple utility to open the MPP files you are given, extract the data items you are interested in, and write them directly to your database (or an intermediate CSV file, as required). MPXJ comes in Java and .Net flavours, so you can use your preferred language to do the work.
