What's the Mozilla Tamarin status? - virtual-machine

Wikipedia claims Tamarin under Mozilla is active, but it's not listed under mozilla labs projects at all and it seems all docs from MDN are in 'obsolete' section. Is the project still supported?

Seems Tamarin is no longer active. I talked to some guys handling MDN pages and they moved all related pages to obsolete sections claiming that neither Tamarin nor any of related components is actively used anywhere.

Can a Safari web extension change Safari's browser preferences

Is it possible to write a Safari extension that changes the web browsers preference settings?
If so where would I find documentation on this? I would like to add a search engine to the list of default ones so if there is already an extension that does this that you know off that would also be great.
Unfortunately the answer to your question would be a No, at least for now.
As to where you can find out more about this information, you may refer the MDN documentation on browser settings.

Add-on not Visible in Marketplace

Google Cloud Platform's Tech Support directed me here.
GCP is telling me the add-on is "successfully verified and add-on is available for users." The OAuth Consent Screen confirms this.
In Developer Dashboard, the add-on is published. The "Publish in Marketplace" checkbox was checked upon submission for publication.
I've read through troves of online Google documentation, but still have not found the solution.
The docs add-on is OrangeSlice: Teacher Rubric.
ideas? Thx
It's here https://gsuite.google.com/marketplace/app/orangeslice_teacher_rubric/852746965799. You can find the link in the G Suite Marketplace SDK.
The answer is, I think, Google is very busy.
There are three advertised approval steps but it took more to get the add-on listed. It was approved first via Developer Dashboard crew. After completing the GS Marketplace Configuration and then the GS Cloud for OAuth, it was approved twice more. To the get add-on published, I needed to inform Developer Dashboard that it was approved by GS Cloud, THEN IT COULD BE RELEASED.
So if you're having issues, be persistent. The Google team answers nicely but many questions go unanswered or are ambiguous. There are many directions spread over several different pages: Marketplace, Cloud, Apps Scripts, OAuth App Verif FAQ, etc. They mostly concur but there is plenty of vagueness and inconsistency which only added to my confusion. I have 2 add-ons, one is a stripped down version of the other. The stripped down version had more hoops to jump through for approval-verification and then release than the fully loaded version. Not sure why. Again, the Google team is nice but it feels like they are swamped and/or have an intra-system communication challenges.
Here's an example.. directions within an email from the Google team:
Please follow the steps below to ensure your OAuth scope(s) request is submitted for review:
Sign-in to the Google Cloud Console
Select the project-id: api-project-#############
Go to Credentials on the OAuth Consent Screen
.....Credentials and OAuth Consent screens are two separate screens under the same heading, API Apps & Services. Neither exists within the other but next to each other.
So what to do?

Can we use Angular (or similar frameworks) for development of Google Sheets Addon?

I've tried to search for an answer in the official documentation but didn't find. Also, we'd like to publish our addon in the official Chrome Store. So I guess it's not forbidden to use a single app framework, right?

Linking to External Resources in jsfiddle

Can someone explain how to find external resources for creating jsfiddle examples? I've been looking on github and plugin author's websites but there must be a standard method to get links to these files.
This example of the masonry layout:
However, I scavenged the resource from David Dsandro's dropbox.
http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1000295/jquery.masonry.min.js
I got the fiddle's masonry layout to work but linking by scavenging doesn't sound ethical.
There is no such thing. All you can do in the External Resources section is to provide a url to the library/plugin/css you want. The hotlinking ethics principles applies in jsfiddle as in any other website.
You can get that link in the traditional way, looking into the library's author site, or in a cdn. For example, cdnjs is a great site where you will possibly find the libs you need (including mansonry in this case). jsdelivr is another cdn hosting lots of libs that I've just discovered thanks to this question.
Take into account that you already have some plugins built-in in the Frameworks & Extensions section.

Implementing a proxy manager plugin for Safari, like ProxyPlus for Google Chrome

Google Chrome has ProxyPlus and Firefox has FoxyProxy among others. I was wondering why Safari has no counterpart in its Plugin gallery. There seems to be great need for such stuff in countries where Internet is censored.
I would like to develop one myself. But firstly I would like to know whether it is possible using Apple's API and whether Apple allows such extension. And if so, why no one ever comes up with it?
Any pointer about APIs are also welcome.
Thanks.
