I just want to redirect from
mydomain.com/foo
to
mydomain.com/foo/bar
My root .htaccess:
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>
Any simple answer would be pretty appreciated.
You need to add RewriteRule ^foo/?$ /foo/bar [R=302,L] to the rewrites:
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^foo/?$ /foo/bar [R=302,L]
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>

Can someone help me fix .htaccess to work for subfolder app installation?
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine on
RewriteBase /tube
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)/?$ index.php [L]
</IfModule>
<ifModule mod_headers.c>
Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *
</ifModule>
http://yoobro.bro/tube/login&return=moderator - 404 error
I can see index once I RewriteBase /tube but nothing else seems to work. All gives me a "404 not found" error.
This .htaccess is in subdirectory, main site has .htaccess to, its wordpress site that is main and wordpress .htaccess is
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>
Try removing the slash before index.php
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /tube/
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . index.php [L]
I'm trying to enforce https for all traffic and I've tried to add the following lines to .htaccess:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
RewriteRule (.*) https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [R,L]`
The issue is that the current .htaccess file already has the following code:
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-l
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php [NC,L]
RewriteRule .* - [E=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%{HTTP:Authorization}]
</IfModule>
I combined both as follows:
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-l
RewriteRule (.*) https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [R,L]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php [NC,L]
RewriteRule .* - [E=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%{HTTP:Authorization}]
</IfModule>
Unfortunately, this is not working out. I'm getting a redirect loop error... Thanks in advance for your help.
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} =off
RewriteRule ^ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [R=301,L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-l
RewriteRule ^ index.php [L]
RewriteRule .* - [E=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%{HTTP:Authorization}]
</IfModule>
I would like to know how could I redirect all visitor who is accessing the following addresses:
https://example.com/anypage to https://example.com/search/anypage
It cannot redirect people who is already at https://example.com/search/anypage to avoid loop. This is my current .htaccess:
Options -Indexes +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
RewriteRule .* https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
<IfModule mod_php5.c>
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php/$1 [L]
</IfModule>
# the following is for rewritting under FastCGI
<IfModule !mod_php5.c>
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?/$1 [L]
</IfModule>
Thanks
You can use this code in your DOCUMENT_ROOT/.htaccess file:
Options -Indexes +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
RewriteRule ^ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} !/search/ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ search/$1 [L,R]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
<IfModule mod_php5.c>
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php/$1 [L]
</IfModule>
# the following is for rewritting under FastCGI
<IfModule !mod_php5.c>
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?/$1 [L]
</IfModule>
I'm trying to get my htaccess file to use this:
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>
to rewrite this url:
http://cheesecakebb.org/index.php?action=vn
Try this instead:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^index/([^/]+)/?$ index.php?action=$1 [QSA,L]
When someone clicks example.com/index/something, it will redirect (invisibly to the user) to index.php?action=something
I've got old urls and want to remove the /index.php/ via .htaccess:
So old url is:
www.mysite.com/index.php/onesite.html
rewrite in .htaccess into
www.mysite.com/onesite.html
How can I do that?
Thx for your help
Adding the following code to your htaccess will allow this
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule ^index.php/(.*)$ www.mysite.com/$1 [R=302,L]
Changing 302 to 301 when you are sure the redirect is working
Try this one:
RewriteRule ^index.php/(.*?)$ http://%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [R=301,L]
Just add this in your .htaccess
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>
If you site is in subfolder then
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /shop/
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /shop/index.php [L]
</IfModule>
You can use these 2 rules in your DOCUMENT_ROOT/.htaccess file:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} /index\.php [NC]
RewriteRule ^index\.php(/.*)?$ $1 [L,R=301,NC,NE]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule ^(.+?)/?$ /index.php/$1 [L]
