I was looking at Python... People keep telling me it's awesome to use can you make a menu bar like that picture in Python?
Suggestions to what to start learning and reading would be great?

How do i create my own right click menu on the desktop?

i have searched up and down the internet but cannot figure this out. So ive finally come here for the aid of some utter genius people.
I dont like the windows right click function as it has too many options. Some of the options like properties cannot be removed. So, i thought i could disable right click to remove the menu and create my own.
The problem i have is i cannot figure out for VS2010 how to right click on the desktop outside of the form/project and make a box pop up like the same behaviour as the built in one. I am ultimately wanting to be able to expand and add things but im falling at the first hurdle.
Can someone please tell me how to right click on the desktop and create a context menu popup where i can add my own items. i want it to behave the same as windows but i want it my own essentially. This way in the future i will be able to enable or disable my own functions i.e open/winrar/7zip / remove edit on the fly.
thanks

Remove/Disable the default menu of desktop is not a good idea at all
But you can add your own items as well using 3rd party apps
I made an app modifies the default menu ,it can append more items an sub items
I wrote it long time ago I do not remember if i still have the source code or not

AutoIt select item from menubar

i want to build some automation code that will select some item from a menubar of minimized (or non-active) window.
I have tried to do it with ControlSend function by sending some keys like alt and directions, but it's not working...
See my example:
I want to select the item "Select All", for this i wrote this code:
WinWaitActive("")
Send("{ALTDOWN}{ALTUP}{RIGHT}{ENTER}{DOWN}{DOWN}{ENTER}")
The code above works good, but i want that it will work when the window is not active, so i wrote this line:
ControlSend("", "", "Term Class1", "{ALTDOWN}{ALTUP}{RIGHT}{ENTER}{DOWN}{DOWN}{ENTER}")
This is not working for me, do you have some idea how can i implement it?
I too was trying to work with minimized windows but have since switched from windows so i wont be able to test things out for you. I have been told (and from experience) that you cant use control send (or the mouse click alternative which is called "control click") on applications that do not come stock with windows (applications that dont come with the computer, to put it simply).
However i came upon this (https://www.autoitscript.com/forum/topic/7112-minimized-clicking-great-for-game-bots/) which seems to be a 3rd party add in that lets you do just that, i tried using it but could not make it fit my needs. Perhaps you can, I would try to get it working for you but again, i dumped windows. The above link is the best candidate i have found, and by far the most promising after i searched and tested for about a month a while back, Good Luck.
EDIT: As always, i do not promise anything from the above link, you use it at your own risk.

wacom and myscript set handwritng recognition function

im not sure if its the right place to put my question, but i think maybe get an answer here.
the last few days thinking about a way to make μυ work easier.
What I want is to write by hand and convert into text on the computer.
namely when I am on a page with multiple text forms like this im writing now,
when i choose a text form with a pen (like wacom graphic tablet) write on a surface and the automaticaly when i stop or pressing a button the text turn into text in the form.
my title say about wacom because i found bamboo scribe.. if someone uses this please explain me whats can do and if can work for me.
i test myscript. with fullscreen tool wich you can write everywhere on the screen is easiest but when you finish you have to press a button on the program to insert the text in the selected area.
so my question is there any way to press that button with the button placed on stylus pen?
i saw that you can set functions when a button clicked on the wacom tablet or on pen.
i have not bought yet anything because im searching if is out there anything could do what i want better. something made for that particular job
Thanks and sorry for my bad english..

Disabling Mouse Click From Changing Selected Index in ListBox

Background:
In my program, I have a list of commands that I am sending to a robot. Each command is numbered, and I display them in a list box. When my program finishes running each command, I want it to highlight the next line in the list box. Changing the SelectedIndex seems to give me what I want. However, I do not want the User to be able to change the SelectedIndex through mouse click.
What I have tried so far:
Disabling the list box doesn't work because it disables scrolling
WPF: Disable ListBox, but enable scrolling The solution here seems kind of a bit of a hack, and does not quite give me what I am looking for.
ListView - select index only programmatically Intended for C#, not very familiar with C#, so I'm not exactly sure if this solution will work if I try translating it over to vb.net. If this solution is indeed correct, could I get some guidance on how to translate this to vb.net?
I am kind of stuck at this point, it kind of seems like I should be looking for a better solution to this problem. What do you guys recommend? should I continue trying to look for a way to disable the user from changing selected index with mouse click or should I go a completely different route?

Windows like window look

I am looking on the internet for two days to create a form with the extended titlebar (to have the left, right and an search-bar) and the sidebar. I extracted 3 background images from shell32.dll that are used in the sidebar.
I'd like to know if I could namespace some shell objects or is there a solution. I really would like to see this happening.
Thank you.
Code Project, non-client area. I know it's not VB, but maybe enough to glean what you need.
