Well I've recovered a WEP Wi-Fi password using Aircrack-ng, and it says the password is 00:00:00:00:00 in hex, which is five times null. Backtrack represents the password in ASCII as dots, but I've tried that and it naturally didn't work. How do I enter that? I'm running Win8.1 / Backtrack. I've googled that null on Win is alt + 255, but that didn't work for me.
Any ideas are nice.
So I've managed to do it. I've typed alt + 255 in CMD (which seems to be null code), and then I right clicked on the cmd window, copied everything, pasted in notepad++, and selected just the chars I wanted.

Hello guys is there some tool or methodic to get into let's say 12 years old RAR file.
I tried Kraken CMD tool and dictionary attack but it will take ages goes through all passwords.
Unfortunately for me password is around 35 characters. Alphabet is probably [0-9, J, a, m, e, s] so 15 chars.
I tried some removal tools but nothing seems to work.
Or maybe some community of password crackers exists ?
Thank you for any advice.

I have an "HP Elitebook 2540p" laptop. from when I buy that laptop, "BIOS" have a password. I already tried every way to clear that such as remove motherboard (bios) battery for 72 hours, use PC CMOS Cleaner 2.0 (have erred),.... I don't know how can remove that password and it's important to me.i know it's possible to use F9 for quick book. but I need remove the password. please help me.
You can't. You're asking how to bypass security built into the motherboard/BIOS. The computer was designed to prevent you from doing this. Unless you get lucky and find a known exploit for the model of motherboard and version of BIOS you are running, you're out of luck.

This time i'm going to participate in Google CodeJam for the first time.. I don't know how to submit a output and i cant understand the guidelines please help me.
I tried to upload a text file containing the answers for small input but it won't accept
You can ask for assistance from the CodeJam administrators. Post your query on the CodeJam forum they can guide you well. Plus the response time is also pretty good.
Secondly you mentioned that your text file was not accepted. In that case, what was the error?
I know, it is late, but for the next codejam and other coding competitions -
If you are using bash, then run this on terminal, [assuming the input file has name input.in and your code reads everything from stdin and prints everything on stdout]
./myCode < input.in > output.out
and then upload the output.out file.
** For more details, search for I/O redirection on bash.

Guys it may sound dumb but this is my first day working with SSH.
I have never used commandline before. Can someone tell me how do I select an option at this stage. I am on a Putty Session using SSH on a Ubuntu server trying to configure my VPS.
I can scroll using the arrows, but pressing enter does not choose the option. May be it is an multiple select option. Using tab takes me to the button. If I keep navigate down to en (English) and then use Tab to OK it still submits blank. :(
Use the tab key to jump between widgets, the cursor keys to move between positions and the space key to toggle a selection.
To finish the dialog position the cursor over the <Ok> "button" (using the tab key again) and press Enter.
This is the typical behavior of an "ncurses" based interface. It has nothing to do with ssh or the system you use.
