execute ps_core.dbo.import_xlsx '.xlsx', '%Active_PDP_Context_MMS.xlsx%',
'ps_core.dbo.Active_PDP_Context_MMS', 'D:\kerjaan\PS_CORE\20141227\TABLE\' ;
and result like this
Invalid object name 'ps_core.dbo.Active_PDP_Context_MMS'.
what should i do ??
thanks
See this link Execute(Transact SQL)
You need to explicitly set your parameter values using =

I am using POSTGRES SQL JSON.
In json column the value is stored as array which I want to update using SQL query
{"roles": ["Admin"]}
The output in table column should be
{"roles": ["SYSTEM_ADMINISTRATOR"]}
I tried different queries but it is not working.
UPDATE public.bo_user
SET json = jsonb_set(json, '{roles}', to_jsonb('SYSTEM_ADMINISTRATOR')::jsonb, true);
UPDATE public.bo_user
SET json = jsonb_set(json, '{roles}', to_jsonb('["SYSTEM_ADMINISTRATOR"]')::jsonb, true);
ERROR: could not determine polymorphic type because input has type unknown
SQL state: 42804
Kindly help me with the query
but at the moment it is to update the value at 0 index
That can be done using an index based "path" for jsonb_set()
update bo_user
set "json" = jsonb_set("json", '{roles,0}'::text[], '"SYSTEM_ADMINISTRATOR"')
where "json" #>> '{roles,0}' = 'Admin'
The "path" '{roles,0}' references the first element in the array and that is replaced with the constant "SYSTEM_ADMINISTRATOR"' Note the double quotes inside the SQL string literal which are required for a valid JSON string
The WHERE clause ensures that you don't accidentally change the wrong value.
So this worked.
UPDATE public.bo_user
SET json = jsonb_set(json, '{roles}', ('["SYSTEM_ADMINISTRATOR"]')::jsonb, true)
where id = '??';
I want to execute a command using pyodbc in my Django app. When I do simple update with one column it works great:
cursor.execute("UPDATE dbo.Table SET attr = 1 WHERE id = {}".format(id))
However when I try to use a string as a column value it throws error:
cursor.execute("UPDATE dbo.Table SET attr = 1, user = '{}' WHERE id = {}".format(id, str(request.user.username)))
Here's error message:
('42S22', "[42S22] [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Invalid column name 'Admin'. (207) (SQLExecDirectW)")
Suprisingly this method works:
cursor.execute("UPDATE dbo.Table SET attr = 1, user = 'Admin' WHERE id = {}".format(id))
What seems to be the problem? Why is sql mistaking column value for its name?
As mentioned above, you have your arguments backwards, but if you're going to use cursor.execute(), the far more important thing to do is use positional parameters (%s). This will pass the SQL and values separately to the database backend, and protect you from SQL injection:
from django.db import connection
cursor = connection.cursor()
cursor.execute("""
UPDATE dbo.Table
SET attr = 1,
user = %s
WHERE id = %s
""", [
request.user.username,
id,
])
You've got your format arguments backwards. You're passing id to user, and username to the id WHERE clause.
I'm converting this progress statement into SQL.
for each usr_mstr where usr_userid matches "PRF52" exclusive-lock:
assign usr_force_change = no.
end.
This is what I currently have.
UPDATE PUB.usr_mstr SET usr_force_change = 'false' WHERE usr_userid = 'PRF52'
The error that I am receiving is '[DataDirect][OpenEdge JDBC Driver][OpenEdge] Invalid number string (7498)'.
A select statement for this field is working and returns the following.
SELECT usr_force_change FROM PUB.usr_mstr WHERE usr_userid = 'PRF52'
usr_force_change
false
The column data type was of type 'LOGICAL'. This translates to type 'BIT' in SQL. I updated the statement to the following at it worked.
UPDATE PUB.usr_mstr SET usr_force_change = '0' WHERE usr_userid = 'PRF51'
You need to choose Query type as Update Statement when submit update
Update Statement - use this for Inserts and Deletes as well
I created two string variables (tot and tot_value) and assigned a value (tot = MyVal) for testing. Then I created an Execute SQL Task which takes (tot) as parameter and the value returned is saved in tot_value.
In the General Tab, i set:
ResultSet to Single row. SQL Source Type to Direct input Query is listed below.
In Parameter Mapping I selected my tot variable with Input DirectionSQL_VARCHAR Data Type 1 as Parameter Name (Since i am using ODBC)Size set to default -1.
In Result SetResult Name to 1Variable Name to tot_value.
If in the query I hard code 'MyVal' i get the correct result, however when I use ? to use my variable as a parameter, I always get a 0 returned.
Note that my tot variable is set to MyVal
Any clue of what I might be missing? Thanks in advance
select TOP 1 CAST('' + ISNULL((SELECT distinct type_of_transfer_code
FROM SYSTEM.history_program_transfer
WHERE type_of_transfer_value = ?),'') AS VARCHAR(100)) as type_of_transfer_code
FROM SYSTEM.table_facility_defaults
EXEC dbo.event #first_param = 'smth', #second_param = 'IS', #date_param = '2016-10-31 09:58:24.690', #databaseparam = 'dtp'
I have a variable databaseval with the scope of the whole package and Data Type = String and its value is dtp
However when map the variable to OLE DB Source editor I get 'Invalid object name .smth.mytable'. Does this mean that the dtp parameter is not passet or what?
This is not ok
EXEC dbo.event #first_param = 'smth', #second_param = 'IS', #date_param = '2016-10-31 09:58:24.690', #databaseparam = ?
Thanks for helping
In the parameters I put #databaseparam and in the variables
User::databaseval
Don't use the parameter name in the parameter mapping. Instead, use the index of its position in the query.
For example, if it's the only mapped parameter in the query, then use 0.
