Open Daylight can not login and the ui of the web always display "unable to login" - authentication

I have install the Open Daylight Helium according to the document of wiki of installation. But, when I enable the webUI, it always displays "Unable to login" in the webUI.
How can I solve this problem?

This would be easier to answer if you described what you mean by the web UI. Nonetheless vaerify that you are testing the correctports, if you are then you can disable auth by editing org.opendaylight.aaa.authn.cfg
authEnabled=false

Obviously, we need to install feature of odl-dlux-core. And we can login to ODL's Web GUI successfully.

I had the same problem and I got it working by following the answer on this link:
https://ask.opendaylight.org/question/843/unable-to-login-dlux-web-interface-helium-release/
There it says:
Downloading and extracting the pre-build .zip : distribution-karaf-0.2.0-Helium.zip
./distribution-karaf-0.2.0-Helium/bin/karaf (on linux) to start the karaf container
feature:install odl-restconf odl-l2switch-switch odl-mdsal-apidocs odl-dlux-core
Accessing http://localhost:8181/dlux/index.html where localhost is your local ip
log in with user: admin pw: admin
Perhaps there is a problem with the order you have installed your features. I >got the order from dlux-wiki-page where they said that this is the recommended >way of installing features before starting the dlux feature.
To clean your local karaf container you can start the container using the clean >flag like "./distribution-karaf-0.2.0-Helium/bin/karaf clean" or delete the >"distribution-karaf-0.2.0-Helium/data/" folder.

How to change password of `admin` account in `flowable-design` for publishing app?

I've installed Flowable 3.6.1 in my localhost. But when I changed the Host configuration in Tomcat folder, I found flowable-design was unable to publish app to flowable-engage.
After tens of times attempts, I found the configuration located at Tomcat/webapps/flowable-engage/WEB-INF/classes/flowable-default.properties as following:
flowable.common.app.idm-url=http://localhost:8080/flowable-work
flowable.common.app.idm-admin.user=admin
flowable.common.app.idm-admin.password=test
So, I changed admin's password here, but it was not working actually. However, I guess the file name was the problem. Then I changed the file name to flowable.properties, it was still not working.
REMEMBER: In Tomcat/webapps/ROOT/index.html, flowable told that username and password in different flowable application is independent. If you want to change admin's password, you had to know which application you are going to apply these changes.
After a long time digging, I finally found the solution to put these three configuration in Tomcat/bin/setenv.bat as following:
set "JAVA_OPTS=%JAVA_OPTS% -Dflowable.common.app.idm-url=http://<domain>/flowable-engage/ -Dflowable.modeler.app.deployment-api-url=http://<domain>/flowable-engage/app-api -Dflowable.modeler.app.undeployment-api-url=http://<domain>/flowable-engage/platform-api/app-deployments -Dflowable.common.app.idm-admin.user=admin -Dflowable.common.app.idm-admin.password=<password>"
And these properties are loaded in flowable-ui-design-conf module, look
at
com.flowable.design.conf.ApplicationConfiguration#basicHttpClientProvider(FlowableCommonAppProperties commonAppProperties) for more information.
Cause I want my flowable-design to be able to deploy app to flowable-engage, so I changed admin's password in flowable-engage.

Idempiere: 'External POS Integration' option not showing up in Menu

I am trying to setup Unicenta POS on my Windows 10 64 bit machine.
My configuration:
Idempiere server v5.1 (http://127.0.0.1:8080/)
ActiveMQ v5.15.2
(http://127.0.0.1:8161/)
POS Integration plugin (Available
here)
I followed instructions given Here. ActiveMQ is running fine, Unicenta can also send request to ActiveMQ, I can see that in Queues. Idempiere server is also running fine.
I installed POS integration plugin through Felix Web Console. It shows up in the list and It is active. But, that plugin doesn't show up in Idempiere Menu option. Either that plugin has some problems or I am missing something.
I also performed Role Access Update on GardenWorld Client Admin but that didn't change anything. Menu option is still missing.
Please help.
The real issue was that 2Pack did not Pack in into the Database. I had install 2Pack manually and Pack In in my SystemAdmin. After that I logged out and logged in with SuperUser credentials and with GardenAdmin role. And then menu item appeared!

Unable to add connector update from Mulesoft exchange

I am using AnypointStudio 3.7 and trying to install object-store plugin from exchange. but when I click on install button I got an error displaying the message
"There was a problem loading the update site located at
http://repository.mulesoft.org/connectors/releases/3.5.0"
The same error also occurs in order to install other plugins/connector like box from same repository.
I have tried to add the plugin from Help->Install New software window but there also getting the same error.
error getting here is :
"Unable to read repository at http://repository.mulesoft.org/connectors/releases/3.5.0/content.xml."
However I am able to install the updates from other sites like Anypoint update, DevKit etc but not able to install updates from connector update site.
Please anyone help me to find the reason why Anypoint is behaving like this:
FYI , I am using proxy setting in my machine. Could it be the cause of failure?
Thanks in advance !!
Instead of adding from exchange, you can also try an option to add new software from Help -> Install New Software -> work with "Anypoint connector update site" -> specify "objectstore" in search. Select the appropriate ve
#Md. Sadique Ansari ... Please check http://repository.mulesoft.org/connectors/releases/3.5.0/content.xml this url from your browser first because this error mostly due to network firewall setting.
Are you assessing this in your organization network ??
I spotted the message about this in the error logs...googling lead me here...
I noticed, in my attempts to manually test the urtl in a browser that some paths got flipped to HTTPS...so I changed the url in preferences to use HTTPS...and now no errors in the log!

I am using IntelliJ Ideea 13.1.4 and I encountered this error - after I Run / Debug my project, after "Artifact portal-webapp:war exploded: Artifact is deployed successfully"
I get this error but it has been working util now...
Do you Have any idea what should it be?
It appears Idea is trying to wait for your page to return 200 response and then open the external web browser. If this does not happen (e.g. your application returns a redirect due to authentication filters), Idea is just spamming your application with requests and then complains about not being able to open the web page.
I was on production profile but I don't know how I was building until now automatic on dev profile. Now I put a -Pdev to the mvn clean install command I had in a .bat file and all is ok.

what could be the reason of this error for the WCF service hosted on IIS 7.
Answered here
Please make sure you've activated WCF components from here.
Or alternate and easy way is, go to control panel -> Turn Windows feature on or off -> and make sure you've all the options ticked as mentioned in below screenshot.
Run from cmd:
%windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\aspnet_regiis.exe -ir
All you need to do is enable HTTP Activation and any other features that are required for HTTP activation.
For Windows Server 2012,Go to server manager, on the dashboard --> click on Add roles and features. In the Wizard window that opens choose the appropriate server and go on clicking next until you are on the features selection page.
Depending on the version of .NET framework in use on your server you have to check HTTP Activation under WCF Services and proceed to install it. This should resolve your issue.
Run Visual Studio 2008 Command Prompt as “Administrator”.
Navigate to C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.0\Windows Communication Foundation.
Run this command servicemodelreg –i
