After upgrade to 4.2 version ImpressPages - NewsList Module has stopped working:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method Ip\Internal\Text\Html2Text::get_text() in /mysite.com/Plugin/NewsList/HelperPageContents.php on line 127.
I know, NewsList plugin has upgrade to 1.05v but
after upgraded to this version, there is still the same problem.
Should look like the upgrade procedure?
It is not possible. There is no such code in recent version. But I've found other bugs that may occur if you have invalid HTML or other content related issues. They all have been fixed and released under 1.06 version. Please update and let me know how it goes.
Cheers.

I am receiving an error for a dbt model that has never had any previous issues. The error that appears details that module dbt.exceptions has no attribute database exception?
I am on dbt-core using the dbt-sqlserver adapter, and have never encountered this error. I have tried a dbt clean -> dbt deps -> dbt run and still have not solved the issue. I only started encountering this error after I upgraded to 1.4.1 and am wondering if that may have started causing this issue to surface?
Looks like dbt-sqlserver hasn't released 1.4 yet, so your dbt-core version is ahead of your adapter version. You should never install dbt-core separately from your adapter, or pin a specific version of core. If you just pip install dbt-sqlserver, it will install a compatible version of dbt-core.
I am getting 20 errors every time I install web3.js. I tried using earlier versions of the library but am still getting errors. I found this thread and was able to download version 0.19.0 but there is no documentation for 0.19.0 on the web so it's not really usable. Does anyone have any ideas?
I am trying to upgrade from Typo3 6.2 to a later version (to be determined). When I run the Core Update in the install tool the 'Fetched list of released versions' works, however, it is then followed by a 'General error'. In the log, this is the error:
Core: Exception handler (WEB): Uncaught TYPO3 Exception: #1380898792: No version matrix found in registry, call updateVersionMatrix() first. | TYPO3\CMS\Install\Service\Exception\CoreVersionServiceException thrown in file /home/usr/public_html/typo3/sysext/install/Classes/Service/CoreVersionService.php in line 271. I have looked around for ages and can't find a fix that works. I will be very grateful for any help, please.
I don't think that you can update such an old Version by the install-tool update mechanism any more. since that version a lot has changed.
newer versions of 6.2 are only available as paid service (ELTS) from the TYPO3 GmbH.
And I think the server structure also changed meanwhile so that old ULRs might fail.
your way of update should be a manual update to (any outdated version of) 7 LTS, then the same for 8 LTS until you come to 9 LTS and 10 LTS
on each version do the upgrade wizards and fresh up the extensions if possible (including the upgrade wizards of the extensions).
individual extensions need their own updates.
use the deprecation log on each version to identify possible failures for the next TYPO3 version.
somewhere between you might change the installation to composer installation, which will result in a cleaner update way (if you are familiar with composer). for the future it will be very helpful to understand composer.
We are trying to upgrade the database from 2.8.1 to 2.9.0, while doing so thru' SQL Packager tool we get error: Database version '2.8.2' not supported. Am quite new to it and not sure how to resolve this and where to get more details from. The tool was working fine till now for lower versions. Any leads in resolving this is much appreciated!!
The mentioned issue is resolved. It was due to presence of older version of scripts.
Just installed Yosemite and when I run brew doctor I get:
Warning: Your Xcode (6.0.1) is outdated
Please update to Xcode 6.1.
Xcode can be updated from the App Store.
But in the AppStore it looks like XCode 6.0.1 is the latest version. What's the best way to correct this?
Tis that slight lag between 10.10 being Avail and xcode getting updated. If you read the top of brew doctor output it says
Please note that these warnings are just used to help the Homebrew maintainers
with debugging if you file an issue. If everything you use Homebrew for is
working fine: please don't worry and just ignore them. Thanks!
So if everything is working, then you should do what it suggests and ignore it. The command line tools / compilers where updated for 10.10 (software update should have picked them up for you). Are you running into any issues with compiling? or just that warning.
pulling up from the comments. Your ruby and postgresql issues are from the upgrade, but it isn't really brews fault, or that compiler error warning.
with rvm just reinstall your ruby. My main dev is done with ruby-2.1.3 so
rvm reinstall ruby-2.1.3
rebuilt ruby and all my gems. The problem is that the ssl libs (maybe others) that ruby was linked to were removed / replaced in the upgrade to 10.10. The reinstall will rebuild and relink to the newer correct libs.
postgresql is slightly different. Apparently during the upgrade a couple of empty directories in /usr/local/var/postgres get removed. No idea why.
see this SO answer for how to fix that.
`pg_tblspc` missing after installation of latest version of OS X (Yosemite or El Capitan)
also if you are use pow (http://pow.cx) you will need to upgrade it to the latest version as 10.10 removed ipfw completely and only leaves pf as the firewall. so you will need to the new version which uses pf anchors.
The above steps where all I needed to do it in order to get my dev back to working.
Looks like developer.apple.com does show an XCode 6.1 as "Available Shortly" as of Fri, Oct 17, at 10pm central time. Not yet available from the AppStore. I guess I'm just too eager for an update.
