I am evaluating Liquibase on my system. I have MySQL db ready to use.
The problem is I downloaded Liquibase from their website. It has a file named liquibase.bat. I am trying to run and it just flickers and disappears.
Actually it should start Liquibase and show its version.
Anybody has any idea on this?
You could try looking at the Liquibase.bat file and see what it is doing. If there is an echo off command in the file, you can comment that out and then you would be able to see each command as it runs and see where the problem is.
Are you trying to double-click on Liquibase.bat from Windows Explorer? If so, that is probably the problem. You should be running it from a command prompt.

I got this message when I try to run query on XAMPP in macOS
#1558 - Column count of mysql.proc is wrong. Expected 21, found 20. Created with MariaDB 100108, now running 100421. Please use mysql_upgrade to fix this error
I tried to write
'mysql_upgrade -u root -p'
on my terminal but I got this message
zsh: command not found: mysql_upgrade
I also ran into same issue and after cracking my head for the past 10hrs, I finally realise how to perform the upgrade. U
go to your Mac terminal and paste the following code:
Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/bin/mysql_upgrade -u root -p
Supply your root password and see it work like magic.
Contrary to what many people posted online by using /opt/lampp/bin
It always gives a zsh not found error.
I hope this helps you and in the future for others who might need it.
You could try switching to a different shell, say bash by typing bash in your terminal.
Then proceed to run mysql_upgrade normally in the appropriate directory
I also could not run the code from the Terminal. I was, however, able to go to the folder itself and "run" the mysql_upgrade application. If you are using XAMPP and the Application Manager, there's a button to Open Application Folder. If you click that, finder will open where XAMPP lives. Open the bin folder. Then scroll until you find mysql_upgrade. Double click it. It will run in a Terminal session and complete the upgrade. Hope this helps someone else as I spent waaayyyy too much time trying to get this to work.
Using C#, I have
driver = new ChromeDriver();
It gives:
System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The specified executable is not a valid application for this OS platform.
It worked before I changed something.
This answer specifies that to improve undetectability of Selenium, you have to run a certain PERL script. I ran it like so:
perl -pi -e 's/cdc_/dog_/g' C:\Users\user\source\repos\SleeveAce\packages\Selenium.WebDriver.ChromeDriver.91.0.4472.10100\driver\win32\chromedriver.exe
What do I do now? Before, the C# app was working perfectly, now it has that error. When I open the .exe as a notepad++ and search for cdc_, I find multiple instances, so I suppose the script is not working? I might be wrong though if the script was not supposed to do that.
EDIT: I have just tried changing all the cdc_ values in a hex editor as well with dog_. They were modified successfully. However, the error is still there.
EDIT2: Solved! See comments for explanation.
Additional info
Using Perl 5 v32
After running the script, nothing was shown (no
errors too!)
I am developing a plugin in Intellij to be used in Pycharm. One problem that I am currently facing is, how can I get the output from the IDE terminal after I execute some command. To execute a command I use the ShellTerminalWidget that creates a new tab in the IDE terminal and executes the command I want. But I need a way to read that output.
Thanks.

It seems consoleFilterProvider extension is what you need.
A simple plugin example with the feature can be found here:

I am in the middle of designing a schematic in Xilinx ISE 14.7 core generator and I've run into a little problem which I need help with. I need to run mem_edit.bat file in order to run the memory editor application and create a .coe file. Whenever I run the file, command prompt just flashes on the screen without running the commands. How do I run mem_edit.bat to be able to run memory test. I have run the file in a static command prompt session and inserted a pause in the code to no avail. I have also run the commands directly in command prompt and still no success. Please help me as I am on a timeline and I need to finish this fast. I am running on a 64 bit windows10 machine. I am kinda new to Xilinx ISE so please go a bit easy on me. The contents of mem_edit.bat have been quoted below
#echo off
REM Script to launch Xilinx memory editor
set CLASSPATH=
set JAVA_HOME=
"%XILINX%\java\nt64\jre\bin\java" -DXILINX="%XILINX%" -DMYXILINX="%MYXILINX%" -cp "%XILINX%\coregen\lib\encore.jar;%XILINX%\coregen\lib\coreutil.jar;%XILINX%\coregen\lib\sim.jar;%XILINX%\coregen\lib\xcc.jar;%XILINX%\coregen\lib;%XILINX%\coregen\resources" com.xilinx.iputils.memory.editor.CoreGen2RunMemoryEditor 2> NUL
I have managed to solve the issue. I happened to stumble on the directory where the ISE cmd short cut is saved C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Xilinx Design Tools 1\ISE Design Suite 14.7\Accessories. I run the file and Kaboom, the ISE cmd fired up. I entered mem_edit.bat and the application is up and running.
I am trying to run IntelliJ code formatter from command line.
I know that inspections can be run from CLI, however, they didn't provide the same for the source formatting (lame!).
Now, I started with CE edition of IntelliJ. Source code is on github.
However, since the code base is not small, I am having problems encapsulating the formatter.
Is there anyone who can point me in right direction and showing which classes to start with?
You can run the formatter from the terminal now. Like the code inspection.
https://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/IDEADEV/Command-Line+Source+Code+Formatter
/bin/format.sh [-h] [-r|-R] [-s|-settings settingsPath] [-m|-mask masks] [path1 [path2]...]
On Windows it's /bin/format.bat
To do this in the new versions of Intellij
You need to make sure the command line launcher is installed via the Jetbrain Toolbox.

And run the following command from your shell:
idea format -s /path/to/your/style.xml /path/to/your/folder
I would recommend that you set the shell script location to /usr/local/bin/
