Embedded .xib appearing in wrong position - objective-c

I was hoping this was an iOS 8 bug (it still might be; everything works fine in iOS 7) but I'm still seeing it in the iOS 8 GM Seed.
I have a CategoriesView.xib embedded in DetailView.xib. When the DetailView.xib is displayed, the placeholder UIView displays in the right location, but the contents of CategoriesView.xib appear exactly 72px above where they're supposed to. I'm using Autolayout. The 72px seems to be 20px status bar + 44px navigation bar + 8px auto layout constraint from the top of the image.
Inside CategoriesView.xib, there are actually 5 little icons representing each possible category. Each icon has a width/height constraint and a leading space constraint to add padding from its neighbor. Typically a screen will only show 1-2 categories, and I accomplish this with this code:

Again, this works fine in iOS 7.
I thought I had this working when, inside CategoriesView.m, I set:
self.contentView.translatesAutoResizingMaskintoConstraints = true.
That gives me the correct vertical placement I'm after, but unfortunately I get auto layout errors because it thinks CategoriesView needs to be exactly 132px wide. Because of this, the last category icon gets stretched:
I'm at a loss here. I know this is pretty nuanced, but any ideas?

I tried everything I could think of, and just could not get this to work.
My solution? I simply created a brand new file and reconstructed all the elements and all the constraints. And it worked perfectly.
So so frustrating, but things are finally back to normal. I think it had something to do with the transition from Xcode 5 to Xcode 6.

libgdx camera position using viewport

I am rather experiences libgdx developer but I struggle with one issue for some time so I decided to ask here.
I use FillViewport, TiledMap, Scene2d and OrtographicCamera. I want the camera to follow my player instance but there are bounds defined (equal to mapsize). It means that camera will never ever leave outside of map, so when player comes to an end of the map camera stops following and he goes to the edge of the screen itself. Maybe sounds complicated but it's simple and I am sure that you know what I mean, it's used in every game.
I calculated 4 values:
minCameraX = camera.viewportWidth / 2;
minCameraY = camera.viewportHeight / 2;
maxCameraX = mapSize.x camera.viewportWidth / 2;
maxCameraY = mapSize.y - camera.viewportHeight / 2;
I removed not necessary stuff like unit conversion, camera.zoom etc. Then I set the camera position like this:
camera.position.set(Math.min(maxCameraX, Math.max(posX, minCameraX)), Math.min(maxCameraY, Math.max(posY, minCameraY)), 0);
(posX, posY is player position) which is basically setting camera to player position but if it's to high or too low it sets it to max or min defined before in right axis. (I also tries MathUtils.clamp() and it works the same.
Everything is perfect until now. Problem occures when aspect ratio changes. By default I use 1280x768 but my phone has 1280x720. Because of that bottom and top edges of the screen are cut off because of the way how FillViewport works. Because of that part of my map is cut off.
I tried to modify maximums and minimums, calculate differences in ratio and adding them to calculations, changing camera size, different viewports and some other stuff but without success.
Can you guys help?

I tried solution of noone and Tenfour04 from comments above. Both are not perfect but I am satisified enough i guess:

It worked however only for small spectrum of resolutions. For strange resolutions where aspect ratio is much different than default one I've seen white stripes after border. It means that whole border was printer and some part of the world outside of border. I don't know why

I changed viewport to ExtendViewport. Nothing is cut off but in different aspect ratios I also can see world outside of borders.
Solution for both is to clear screen with same color as the border is and background of level separatly which gave satisfying effect in both cases.
It stil has some limitations. As border is part of the world (tiled blocks) it's ok when it has same color. In case border has different colors, rendering one color outside of borders won't be a solution.

Why don't you use FitViewport instead of FullViewport? That way it won't cut off your screen, right?
It is a little bit late, but I have a solution for you without compromises!
Here width and height are world size in pixels. I use this code with FillViewport and everything works excellent!

looping a sprite vertically objective C sprite builder

Note: for this I am using a program called spritebuilder, which allows me to create a game with less code than would normally be needed. If you know a solution that's just all code, then by all means feel free to share it :)
Also, for this question, I followed a tutorial at this link: Build Your Own Flappy Bird Clone. Just scroll down to the part that says: "Loop the Ground"
So here's my problem. Im currently working on a game, and I created a camera which scrolls vertically long with the character sprite i created, however i need a certain image to loop. When the image leaves the bottom part of the screen I would like it to loop around to the top of the screen, infinitely. For this i created two identical images (in this case its the bark of a tree). One will be on screen, while the other will be offscreen, so as the first image leaves the screen, the second will replace it (seamlessly). I created two objects for the images, and assigned them the name _ground1, and _ground2, and I also created an NSArray in which to store them in. (Please refer to the link above if it is somewhat confusing)
Here is the code that I have:

For some reason when I try this, it doesnt seem to work. what happens is that, the camera will travel vertically as it is meant to do, but the images do not loop. Once the two images leave the bottom of the screen, no new images replace them.
i also done this project as above tutorials. it work fine but you have some mistake to set variable in spritebuilder. in your above code replce code as and try it. you only put less than may be it issue.

You are using CCNode objects as _ground1and _ground2.
CCNode objects usually do not have a contentSize, they will return 0 unless you explicitly set them inSpriteBuilder`.
Make sure that you are using CCSprite objects in SpriteBuilder and in your code.
Also, as a friendly hint you should also consider refactoring (renaming) your sprites with more meaningful names for your use case like _treeBark1 and treeBark2 for example.

Two NSTextFields with interdependent widths in autolayout

I’m trying to put together what seems to be a simple case of two NSTextFields with dynamic width and fixed spacing in between. I cannot figure out an effective way to do so though.
I’m looking to get something like this:
The blue boxes are the NSTextFields. When more text is entered into one, it should grow and thus make the other one shrink, maintaining the lead space, trailing space and the spacing in between the fields. The first one should take the priority if both of the fields have too much text. Each field will also clearly have a maximum and a minimum possible width it can reach.
How would I go around handling this, preferably utilising IB autolayout as much as possible?
It seems to me that all of constraints you mentioned directly translate into interface builder --
First view has width >= something.
First view has width <= something
Same for Second view.
Space between views is fixed.
Second view wants to be as small as possible (have its width at 0) but this has lower lower priority than the previous constraints and lower priority than inner content size constraints.
The code I had to add to my view controller, after applying the constraints as per the ilya’s answer:
In controlTextDidChange (_controlWidthConstraint refers to the fixed width constraint of the input; it’s probably 0 by default for the second input):

auto adjusting the positions and height width of UILabel in iOS

I have designed my help page for my application,it contains some FAQs..so I have used UILabels for question and answer,I have adjusted,x,y,width and height exactly in the xib,leaving a gap between a question and answer and answer and next question.so totally I have some 10 question and answers,I have put them inside a scroll view.
But now, suppose the text changes dynamically, how can I adjust the positions and width and height,is a problem which I am not able to figure out, by using the below code,it adjusts the height and width of a particular label,if the text increases

Rotate UITableViewCell inside a rotated UITableView

Rather than implementing a clunky, potentially bug-ridden custom table, I went with the much simpler rotate table option. The problem comes in when I decide that, rather than initializing rotated contents, I want to rotate the cell itself and cut down on the amount of code in complex cells.
The following lines are immediately after cell configuration.
This causes every cell to rotate 90° on load, regardless of orientation:

And this option only rotates the first cell once, but preserves the rotation:

Can cell orientation be tracked with an existing function (or set thereof)?
I can't find anything about this with Google. There are related questions, but mostly about tables and Portrait/Landscape UI orientations, so the counter-rotation implementation is quite a bit different.
EDIT
If I move cellRotated = YES to viewDidAppear: every cell except one gets rotated. (And then cell reuse makes it so that, in this case, every sixth cell is left alone.)
1-5 is good, 6 is bad, 7-11 is good, 12 is bad, etc (and then it changes in a perfectly logical but entirely unwanted pattern when I hit the end of the table)
Halfway there or a step back, I don't know, but that's what I have now.
If rotation is the only transform you do then why don't you just do this,
