I once had similar problem and it was caused by missing reference to web.xml in my Eclipse project.
P.S. If you want to receive more relevant answers try formulating your question better, with more details, when this error ocured and how... Write down steps you are making until exception shows etc., exception stack trace...

I am new to Kuma and am trying to set up Multi-Zone deployment mode after experimenting with standalone mode. Currently, I have managed to setup the Global Control Plane on an Azure VM and it seems to be working well.
My problem lies in setting up the Zone Control Planes. I have tried setting up on both Docker, WSL and a VirtualBox Ubuntu VM but I am receiving the same error again and again. It should be noted that I am attempting to set this up using Universal mode, as described on Kuma docs, and have tried both versions 1.4.1 and 1.2.3. The error in question is as below:
ERROR kds-zone.kds-mux-client component terminated with an error (“generationID”: 6, “error”: “rpc error; code = Unavailable desc = connection error: desc = “transport: authentication handshake failed: tls: first record does not look like a TLS handshake””}
I have tried googling this problem, but can’t seem to find any similar problems relating to Kuma, and have also tried experimenting in the kuma.conf.yml file but to no avail.
Thank you in advance to anyone who may have any advice on how to solve this.
Regards,
Daniel
I am trying to add Apache Nifi in ambari but continuously failing with error Error occured during stack advisor command invocation:
Unable to delete directory /var/run/ambari-server/stack-recommendations/1.
There is a similar thread with the same error in hortonworks community, I have tried everything mentioned in that thread but unable to fix it. My sandbox is installed in vmware workstation 12 player. I also tried to create and remove directory manually but it is failing with the error invalid argument. Created a thread for this error also on stackexchange. Please help!!!
Here is a link to Hortonworks forum thread. And it seems like sandbox is just broken:
This is due to a docker issue in this 2.5 sandbox build. It will be
fixed in next revision of the sandbox.
There are also some workarounds described (like use older HDP 2.4 or establishing own cluser based on the HDP 2.5 docker image)
Updated sandbox arrived: http://hortonworks.com/downloads
Trust me, active member of community see your posts in multiple locations. In a good, no Big Brother ways :) but cross-posting is an old as world ... Well, you got it.
Did you see a notice for this service in Ambari? Telling it's been deprecated? Same note in the github. There's a good reason for that, it's now been implemented properly by the dev team and with many more features. I.e. all the action is there now.
I think I replied a similar question, though not sure it was yours, take a look in HCC.
Yesterday all working great, but today, i went to work and tomcat didn't work. When i try to open page of tomcat, server not response, but in command line say that hi is running. I don't understand this problem. log - catalina.2016-02-09.log is very big, but not have error.
Log.
There's the likely culprit in the stacktrace:
java.net.BindException: Address already in use
That most likely means a zombie process of your tomcat was running and you started another instance.
And please, if you don't know what logs are, don't write stuff like "but not have error", there's at least two stack traces in that log.

Possible mismatch between version of Tomcat and version of JDK/JRE. It happened to me on Mac with Java 8 and Tomcat 7.2*. Had to install and use Tomcat 7.5*
I was using Windows 10 OS for developing applications in TM1 Performance Modeller as part of Academic projects.
I had been trying to run pmpsvc services of IBM Performance Modeller. I was getting the error "unable to logon to pmpsvc". Also, when I was trying to logon to Application Server in my browser, I was getting the same error that you've posted here.
What I think(after going through different posts in the search results of Google and Stackoverflow): There is some compatibility issue with JSP 2.1 in your project or maybe Tomcat version in-compatibilty.
How this was solved: I installed Windows 7 in dual-boot mode by allocating 100 GB to Windows 7. Installed the IBM software TM1 package(Performance Modeller and BI Insight Tool) in Win7 and everything runs smoothly now.
The IBM Instructors that demonstrated the use of Tm1 Dimensional Modelling also were running Windows 7 in their machines.
I guess - if you wish to solve the problem without going into the details of this exception, You can give this a try!
I have migrated an application from WL 8 to WL 10 and set up my managed servers. They indicate that they are running, but when I try to access the site it throws a 404. This is my first time deploying anything on 10 so I could be missing something. Any ideas? Please let me know what additional information could be helpful. edit: I had this working, added a db connection and now it fails.

You got a weblogic.management.DeploymentException and this means that something went wrong in some server even if everything seems OK from the console.
Underlying error is from weblogic.management.configuration.JDBCSystemResourceMBeanImpl so I would review datasource config is appropiate for every target in your environment. Also check that datasource targets are the same as web application targets and JDBC drivers are available at managed servers classpath as well.
Try to log to the WebLogic Admin console and see what is the status of your application.
You can use the 'Testing' tab of your deployment to see the URL that the application has been deployed to. This will assist you in the troubleshooting process.
If you don't see anything here to test there are a few possible reasons, including the following:
The application failed to deploy and/or is not 'Active'
You are using a cluster and no managed servers are running
You have managed servers running but they are not in a 'RUNNING' state
