VB.Net Document Interface - vb.net

Is there a way to create a VB.Net form that has a document editor in which the user can drag and drop items from a toolbar into the document.
Sort of like this https://corporate.morningstar.com/us/documents/MarketingOneSheets/AWO/ADV_AWO_OfficeReportStudio.pdf
The items that would be dragged in would be Live SSRS reports and we want the ability to the let the end user position them where they want on the document.
I tried finding document controls but I was unable to find one that would fit these requirements.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

VBA to show/hide data in Word

I am writing a huge procedural manual and would love to be able to hide/show sections as needed. I found the correct way to do it, through bookmarks, check boxes and VBA but am unable to get all three to come together.
These are the instructions I am using:
Link to Instruction Sets
They seem simple enough but I am unable to "view code" by right clicking on the checkbox. Is this a necessary step to add the code or can I just open a new macro and insert the code there?
Other ideas to achieve hiding/showing sections with bookmarks are welcome, too. Thank you!

VB.NET - How to Create Information Box

I'm creating a form that will display a long list of properties and their associated value. I'd like to display them in a sort of table-like control. Something with heading values at the top and a list of organized data underneath it. Something like these:
I realize those 2 examples aren't exactly the same but I'm flexible on what I produce as long as it gives a similar effect. My question is, how do I create a list like that? Is there a control in the Visual Studio toolbox that will produce this effect?
I'm sure there's something similar that easy to find but I can't figure out what to call that control so my searches haven't turned up anything useful.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
A combination of ListView and TabControl controls could be used to emulate what you're showing above. See the links for ListView and TabControl to help you get started.
Yes, there are windows form controls that provides this functionality.
For the tabbed windows use the TabControl:
For the different lists use a ListView control in the mode Details - which means a list with columns:
For the second feature, the ListView control has the Group features:
In order to group items togheter set the group for the chosen item(s):
All of this can be of course done programatically. There are good tutorials on MSDN and Channel9.

Embed CommandBar into Form

I'm not sure if this is at all possible, but I'd like to be able to 'embed' a CommandBar into an Access 2003 Form.
I'd like to do this because the nature of my application is such that its forms are 'floating' so it doesn't look like it was developed in Access.
I know I can put Command Buttons on the form, which would achieve something similar, but I'd like a way to differentiate between the two types of buttons.
I'll be using it (if it's possible) to have a help menu present on some Forms.
Any ideas would be greatly appriciated!
I managed to achieve a similar effect by placing labels of a different color at the top of the form, then assign custom context menus to appear on left click. This is similar to the code found here:
How to add a menu item to the default right click context menu

Link Content Control to Legacy Form Field in MSFT Word (VBA)

I'm sure this question has an easy answer, but I have a short timeline and need to get it resolved ASAP.
I'd like to have a content control drop down that when the user makes a selection, will update a legacy text box formField with the selected value.
I have no trouble selecting form fields and setting them using VBA code:
ActiveDocument.FormFields("MyFieldName").Result
But I'm having trouble selecting the value from the content control, and also figuring out how to execute the macro "onExit" like I can with legacy fields / drop downs.
Any suggestions?
Google "vba content control events".
For example, see the last post by Greg Maxey at how-to-catch-custom-control-events-with-vba-macro and towards the bottom of his page http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/word_tip_pages/content_controls.html

Drag and Drop data in PDF form field

I have a project that requires the user to fill out a pdf form. I am loading the pdf file into an object tag. On the side I have a list of predetermined values. I would like to enable the user to drag one of those values to a field in the form and drop it there.
I can have them right-click the value, copy it and then right-click and paste in the field, but I would like to create something a little more user friendly.
Any suggestions are highly appreciated.
Thank you.
From what I can find (I was just searching if this was possible as well), and what I know from building forms in Adobe's form builder, this is sadly no possible.
