How can I upload image with WYSIWYG editor on Yii extension? - yii

I want to know the way to upload image from my computer with WYSIWYG editor on Yii extension.
I have tried TinyMCE and other editor but I can't find the way to upload image from my computer. In my case, the image that will inserted to text area must be link, not the file. I want to know if there is a way to upload image from computer to WYSIWIG editor.
I would appreciate if there is an example to implement that case.
Thank you.

You can use CKeditor (Ckeditor) with KCfinder(KCfinder). There will be "select from server" button after integration. You can upload image right there and choose that one.

i'm not familiar with tinymce , but maybe it can solve your problem.
Have you tried using this yii extension ?
http://www.yiiframework.com/extension/tinymceelfinder/
another options, you can use kindeditor. kindeditor allows to upload image.

hope this help.

Display the pdf through a link in database

I am working presently on the adf side and I am stuck with some issues.
I have a page where I have to display the pdf files. The pdf files are in another site and the links are present in a column of the database. But when I try to access those links they are downloading rather than displaying. I need to display those pdf files in my inline frame rather than downloading.
I heard many suggestions like write a bean and put the file in session and get display them in page .But I am not clear.
So please help me on this.
I have a check box at the end and the checkbox should be enabled in my page only when the displayed pdf scrolled to end.
Please help me solving those issues.
When you create a link to a PDF there is only so much you can do to make it display in the browser. The most important thing you must do on the server that delivers the PDF is to make sure it is presented with the correct MIME-type and without a content-disposition header value of attachment.
After that, it's up to the browser to either show it in a browser tab or to download the file. I know Chrome will show the PDF in the browser when it's linked to, not sure if it also does that when it's linked in an iframe.
I don't think there's a reliable way to make it work the way you want, simply because it's very browser dependent.

Xamarin Forms UWP - Display PDF

Please, help me and tell me what am I missing.
My goal is to display simple PDF file (stored locally for example) in the WebView control. Can I bind path of the file to the Source property of the WebView? Or what is the correct way to show PDF in UWP?
P.S. and if the only option is to do like here - how must I add pdf.js to my project??
My goal is to display simple PDF file (stored locally for example) in the WebView control.
If you want to display pdf in WebView control, then the methods in Display a Local PDF File in a WebView is most like the only way to solve your problem.
You can follow the steps in the xamarin official document, and here are some additional tips we need to pay attention to:
After downloading pdfjs, for UWP app, you need to copy the entire folder into the Assets folder, make sure that the folder is named "pdfjs", otherwise you will need to modify the code to change the path.
Your .pdf file should be stored into the Content folder under the Assets folder, it means you will need to create a new folder named "Content" under Assets and copy your .pdf file into this folder. Otherwise, you will also need to modify the code to change the path.
After copying your .pdf file into the "Content" folder, don't forget to change the Build Action of this file to Content like this:
Or what is the correct way to show PDF in UWP?
In uwp app, you can use Image to show PDF file, you can refer to the official PDF document sample. But I don't know if PDF can be displayed as Image in Android and IOS apps, since you're developing a cross-platform project, I think it's better to use the built-in method to solve such problem.
If a demo for xamarin UWP is needed, you can leave a comment, I will upload my demo later.

Use leaflets over pdf files using angularjs

I am trying to do something like this
leafletoverimage.
Currently I am using background image and angular-leaflets tool for the click and comment.
I am trying to find out a way where I can have pdf file actually rendering on browsers, and able to click on different section of pdf file, have popover and enter comment about that section.
This is similar to what https://app.fieldlens.com/ and www.plangrid.com is doing.
is there something available in angularjs or any other solution is appreciated.

Editing Flexslider HTML

I'm still new to coding. I downloaded flex slider, and I have it running fine on my site and working fine. However I can't make ANY edits into my html regarding the slider. It has the 'next' and 'previous' image links on my gallery, which I would like to replace. It shows up in the html when I inspect it in firebug, yet when I run my html through my text editor (Im using text mate), it doesn't show up at all!
Any ideas why?
I think you are talking about the navigational arrows on the left and right side of the images. This can be changes in the "flexslider.css" file. If you are using textmate then the line number is 52.
Probably the easiest way is to find the image here images/bg_direction_nav.png. Right click the image and open with your image editing software eg. photoshop. Then once you have change the image just save it and it will be saved in the same folder location. If you keep the image the same size then you will not have to mess around with anything else..

Customize PDF view inside a browser

I've worked on a requirement that allows me to show a PDF file inside a browser by doingo a Response.ContentType = "application/pdf".
The problem is that the default view of the PDF is always showing the bookmarks menu at the left, is there a way by using HTTP headers or something to tell the PDF viewer not to show the bookmarks section?
Thanks in advance.
There's two ways that you can do it. The way that I would recommend is to actually open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat and go to File, Properties. On the Initial View tab you'll see a lot of options for how to display the PDF. The second way I haven't tested but Adobe says you can pass various querystring options to the PDF. The one you'd probably want is http://example.org/doc.pdf#pagemode=none
The way how a PDF document is displayed can be configured inside the PDF document.
There are a lot of PDF editors that can modify the "viewer preferences" as it is mostly called. One free example is BeCyPDFMetaEdit.
