I am starting to get a little desperate: a few days (maybe a week or two ago) Yahoo API - YQL that was previously working correctly started returning INKApi error.
Specifically, I am talking about Yahoo Fantasy Sports (baseball) API.
I am definitely not the only one receiving the error. But Yahoo is not reacting to posts on their message boards, see:

I tried to contact them through their contact form as well, but no reaction at all.
Does anyone have a solution for this? An idea about when (or if) Yahoo will address this issue? A direct contact to someone at Yahoo who could help?
Thanks.
I think contacting them is the only way so that they can modify their api and give you the developers what they wanted ..In my opinion we dont have anything to do witrh this..You must contact someone at yahoo..
See this link..https://developer.yahoo.com/forum/YQL/Fantasy-Sports-YQL-Console-returning-INKApi/1399927585884-7008ef4d-0696-4114-b789-1840b0f798ff
After more than a month, Yahoo mysteriously woke up and corrected the error. The API is working again (at least for me), so the problem seems to be fixed for now.
However, we should all be aware that their service comes with no guarantee and there is no way to contact them. So all developers should take this into account when trying to work with Yahoo API...

I have a site on godaddy that has a section where you can leave your name, email and a message. Since adding this feature, I've gotten a few entries from randomcharacters-sitename#data-backup-store.com. Does anyone know what this is?
I've scoured the internet seeing what it is but haven't found much.
I have been seeing this also in subscriptions at our website since late January. They have been getting past our honeypot robot detection system which up to this point was working well. I don't know if it's related, but we're also seeing a flurry of email addresses with bizarre capitalization. We have been hand-suppressing all email addresses that look suspicious. Very annoying.
I've been struggling with this for a bit so I was hoping someone here might be able to help. I am using the Best Buy api for my website. I have a developer account, api key, and I believe my account has been approved (the banner at the top saying it's waiting for approval is no longer present). The api works great for many products and I'm able to use it as it is intended. The exception however is that for certain skus I get no results. Here is an example: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/pokemon-pokemon-tcg-celebrations-ultra-premium-collection/6473336.p?skuId=6473336. The PS5 is another example. I don't believe it's anything I'm doing since the requests I'm making for other products work fine. I've tried contacting Best Buy's support through the developer portal and haven't been able to reach anyone (it's been 3+ months). Does anyone have any suggestions on what could be going on? Has anyone had any luck with contacting Best Buy regarding issues with the API? Any other solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question, but I have a problem with the Blockchain API V2, I tried too many times to request it, but never getting an answer nor my API!? I don't know why.
I searched the web looking for people whom having the same problem as I am, but find nothing. Also I didn't find a way to contact them asking about the delay in giving a simple API code!.
So if anyone has a better idea please let me know.
As an addition I am going to use it in a thirdparty software, where I am not able to add other Bitcoin payments instead of Blockchain one.
I don't know why exactly, but they have become extremely strict as to who they give API keys now. Previously it was very easy, and now they heavily investigate the intended usage. I wouldn't be surprised if the reason has to do with gambling sites and scams that were using their API.
As for recommendations you can run your own node on a VPS or use another 3rd party API. The only one that is as easy to use as blockchain.info, but actually gives out API keys is block.io. The catch is the free version is severely limited. There's also blocktrail, and blockcypher.
Does the Google Places API allow writing of reviews via third party websites/apps? I'm tired of asking customers to leave reviews on Google, Yelp, Thumbtack, and Facebook for local businesses.
I've scoured all the documentation, but can't find an answer.
https://developers.google.com/places/
If it's not possible, has anyone ever had success asking Google to change a policy?
No, it's not possible. You can add places, but these are only available in your own application (unless they get added enough to be added 'globally').
When it's just about reviews, there are other apis present.
Asking google to change a policy? I've tried to have my country added to google and despite they actually have a data center present, it look them over 4 years to add it to their view of the world...
Here on Google places issue tracker is the actual issue on their bug tracker. As of april 2016 it says PendingFurtherReview. Star it for updates.
I've searched endlessly for answers, and I just cannot seem to find anything!
I use an app (Mac) called Hyperimage for my Tumblr blog.
Since the developer has completely abandoned this app (not returning any customer service emails, fixing this problem, ignoring a refund request via PayPal until I had to complain, etc.) I cannot figure out how I could possibly fix the API, myself?
I'd be very grateful if I could be pointed in the right direction!
Thank you!
