simulating file download with selenium on chrome browser for element with reactid

I need to simulate file download on chrome browser and below links points to solutions which is what I'm looking for.
http://ardesco.lazerycode.com/index.php/2012/07/how-to-download-files-with-selenium-and-why-you-shouldnt/
https://github.com/Ardesco/Ebselen/blob/master/ebselen-core/src/main/java/com/lazerycode/ebselen/customhandlers/FileDownloader.java
I'm not able to use this code as it requires attribute and in my case button has a reactid which triggers a end point call. Please refer to attached screen shot.
Can somebody please tell what changes I need to do to make code in above links work ?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Vikram
To be able to download a link to need to find a way to get the link. The best way to do that is to talk to the developer that wrote the code and find out how it works.
Clicking on the button will trigger some sort of JavaScript event, you need to know what that event is so that you can replicate it to get the download link.
Bear in mind that this is probably not a test that's worth performing in Selenium., it's probably a unit test in JavaScript land.
Since you can't get the link of the downloadable file from the html and verify the https status code because in your case - the downloading happens by javascript method
The only way to verify downloading in your case is to actually click the element and verify that the file was downloaded.
You also need to set the capability in ChromeDriver to download to default directory without asking.
Chrome Web Driver download files

Mechanical Turk - can't view HIT, appears blank

I m trying to setup a few image categorization tasks on Mechanical Turk sandbox developer version. When I try to view the HIT(the annotation image), it appears blank. I clicked on the 'Accept HIT' button but I still couldn't see anything.
In order to make sure that nothing was wrong with my project setup in particular, I signed in as a worker to accept HITS on other projects involving image categorization. I still continue to see a blank image in their categorization projects, where the image to be annotated is supposed to be displayed.
Can anyone help with this problem? Thanks.
Problem solved - it was a simple browser incompatibility problem.
I know you have already answered this for yourself, however for other requesters out there I think this may be useful.
I was developing HITs and I too was having issues view the HIT in Sandbox in Chrome and Firefox, I realized that it had something to do with the script being blocked by the browser and the way to fix this was to "unblock the content" - usually a shield icon in the URL bar.
When further developing my HIT I added information about how to see the HIT in the description box of the HIT so turkers could read the instructions and then work on the HIT - to be absolutely clear to the turkers, I added a "(READ DESCRIPTION)" in the title so turkers would know where to look.
Hope this helps!

Updating live tiles for windows phone 8 periodically

I need to update my application's tile periodically with the count the amount of inbox items. Anyone can give me a reference or relevant link to a example or tutorial? I get my data from a webservice. I went on google, and all the examples is on button click. I need one that does this automatically every few minutes/hours? This is for the windows phone 8 start screen of the phone.
thanks in advance!
This is probably the best tutorial I have seen for live tiles in wp8:

There are a couple of different ways you can do this. You can use Azure Mobile Services OR you can use a background process for your app to update the tile. You can find information here :

Pleas guys can any one suggest how to get rid of this?
Hope I will get the quick response from your side guys.
Thanks in advance.
Monish.
You can't change the users ringtones, and the other tones are fixed. They are actually audio files in the system, but you don't have access ot that from the sdk
