Has anyone experienced problems with using fancybox one a SharePoint page?
I have followed all the instructions and the link opens the iframe with the content but the iframe is opening in one of the divs at the top of the page rather than in the middle of the page.
I have a feeling it is to do with the class of the div as it is called 'Wrapper'.
Does fancybox use 'wrapper' as an explicit value for where the iframe will open? Is this something that I can change as i can't change the div class (that is all set from central admin).
#JFK - thanks for the pointers - turned out to be an older JS file version. I changed that to the latest version and it works perfectly.

I recently uploaded custom html and css for one page on my big commerce store. The page is responsive, and mobile optimized. It works on desktops, but is over ridden by the generic mobile theme that is installed when I view it on my phone. How can I stop this page from being over ridden by the mobile version, without disabling the mobile theme completely?
Thanks,
There are 2 methods off the top of my head.
First method
Any HTML file on BigCommerce, with a mobile/responsive theme, has 2 copies of some part of the HTML page. The mobile HTML/CSS is simply triggered by an HTML class mobile on the HTML copy that is there to be only seen on mobile, which contains one copy of relevant HTML (ie, menus, logo, shopping cart icon and link, etc).
Another HTML block has class desktop and is only triggered for certain screen sizes (similar to mobile), and only shows it's desktop version of the HTMl when the screen size conditions are met.
So if screen is small, in your responsive.css file, .mobile is display:none;, while desktop class has all the proper visible CSS.
On the reverse, on desktop-sized screens, the desktop HTML is properly styled, while the mobile class HTML block is display:none.
So, in this first solution, you would simply place a copy of your custom HTMl and style it properly for display on mobile screens. This way, the mobile-styled version will only show up on mobile devices, while the desktop properly-styled version will only show up on dektop size screens. As far as BC goes, I think this is the optimal method.
Second method
You can make a custom template for the page in question. So if it's product.html and you want it custom for some specific product(s), you would create a product-custom.html and place it in your WebDav "/template/Panels" folder.
Now, on your product(s) which must use the new custom HTML, go to their page and scroll to the bottom and you will see a template file selection box, which should say product.html. Change that to your new product-custom.html.
Now, as for the custom file, simply edit the HTML/CSS rules revolving around .desktop and .mobile class (possibly just removing them all together) so that when a page is loaded on a small screen, the CSS rule to hide the desktop version won't apply. At the same time, you should delete the duplicate .mobile class HTML as it will no longer be needed.
This second method is much more flexible but also takes more work and is generally much more messy and requires much more maintenance.
I strongly recommend method #1.
Let me know if this helps and if you have nay other questions.
I believe there is a widget on my page that is causing unbelievably slow page loads. I have narrowed down the exact page it is, and I have about 8 widgets on it. I am trying to disable the widgets one by one, but am having a tough time figuring it out. In the documentation to explains how to remove a widget, but I would like to only temporarily disable them.
These widgets are on PageBuilders, and I have tried to deselect them in Settings > Configuration > Template Configuration but this does not seem to disable it.
Is there a different way to disable widgets?
I am using Ektron 8.6.1
To disable the widget, you could remove the .ascx file from the /widgets folder. The Page should open but report "Cannot load widget" where that widget would appear on the page.
The template configuration setting only prevents you from adding that widget to a new page.
I have a website that is running on Typo3 CMS, this was all setup by our developer, problem is he doesn't work for us anymore, all I want to do is change the url of our company logo located at the header section, I have basic knowledge of HTML and CSS, I manage to move things around in the backend, but I don't know how to change the url of our logo.
It's possible that your developer has set it in:
Typoscript (e.g. PAGE TS)
template-File (index.html in /filedmin or fileadmin/templates)
As Content Element (at the top of the Tree)
CSS
A Mix of all of the Possibilities...
Perhaps a solution:
Type the current url of the Image in the Searchbox at Top of Backend.
Another Way to find out is via Firebug (Firefox).
I am very new to orchard CMS... i am trying to make a site in orchard CMS as this is my first site in orchard... i am facing a fair bit of problem and hindrances to over come... my background of the CMS for creating websites is wordpress/PHP....
but now there in this project i have a problem for the slider in the home page! how could i implement a slider in the home page... after searching a bit i have found to use the featured image slider.. i have tried to implement it... i have installed the module and made the featured group... now MY PROBLEM IS WHERE I CAN ADD THE IMAGES IN THE SLIDER... AS THE FEATURE ITEM FROM THE MENU ONLY SHOW THREE FIELDS HEADLINE,SUB-HEADLINE, AND LINKURL...
kindly let me know where do i can add the images in this slider and show them on the home page of my site....
Thanks alot in advance....
After hell of the search i have got the solution for that purpose... i am elaborating my answer step wise so that the new guys like me should understand that without an inconvenience...
normally orchard CMS uses nivo slider bydefault... if you want to use other sliders follow the same path as pasted below...
1: if you have download the Orchard CMS there will be a Jquery function in the layout.cshtml and the jquery file will also be linked in the script tag, pointing to the package of Jquery in Js or anyother folder...
2: Get the name of the div for which the Jquery is pointing to... normally the name will be "slider".... Copy that name and paste it in your home from CMS... but make sure to keep the name of the div same as the Jquery function narrates which is ("slider").
3:Link your images in the Div...
and browse the site in the browser and enjoy the slider...
I have a fantastic tutorial on pepfry.com for this issue. I have a complete tutorial where I show you all the steps to successfully install the 'Featured Item Slider' with screenshots.
I also have a video on YouTube where you can see the Image slider working successfully.

I'm adding some css in content editor web part on my aspx page and css applies well but as soon as I stop editing page css disappears. When I open the web part again I can see empty
<style> </style>
tag. Any idea ?
This page has custom web part and even if I add some inline css to the web part it applies when page loads but disappear when page finish loading..
I'm trying this on Firefox.
Content editor web part does not let you embed style and script elements directly in the page.
Instead, content editor web part lets you link to a css or js source stored in a sharepoint library.
Alternatively, use SharePoint Designer (if installed in your company) to inline style and script.
