List of all companies on AngelList via API - api

https://angel.co/api/spec/startups
What would the best approach for hitting every company that is listed on AngelList? My first guess would be to query all the numbers up until 250k, the number of companies on angelList, using this endpoint https://api.angel.co/1/startups/45435
There surely has to be a better way of doing this though.

Yes it is possible via their API. And the API endpoint that you have mentioned in your question is the correct one. I have written a PHP component to achieve this. You can use this exporter application to download the start-ups data for each country into a CSV file : AngelList Data Exporter
I hope this helps you.

Angel.co does not expose its api anymore. So you have to parse the website to get any data.
Also a quick google search would give you a few websites which have different datasets from angel.co website.

How do I programatically download bank of America transactions?

I use quicken, which can automatically download bank of America transactions. However, it truncates all the payees so I lose data. I'd like to work around this and I'm thinking of downloading the transaction data and generating my own QFX file with the full payee info.
Is there a way that I can download transactions programmatically, or download something like a .qif (available on their website) programmatically? For the latter, I could convert the gif to a QFX myself.
If anyone has other ideas to download all of the transaction information without losing the payee info, I would welcome those ideas as well.
Do they provide an api for this? but most probably not for 3p without a contract. since its bank , there must be check for browser etc along with standard sign in so it'll hard for curl. you can have a browser plugin to read all the data from the page and do auto scroll to get new transactions if not fitting in page. it's a hacky solution but good to get what we need as you told that data is available on the page and have to revisit with updates but changes in basic structure is rare.
A quick search for bank of america api yielded this BofA API. They even have many options for types of payment information you could query here as well as lots of individual account types that you can access it as.
It looks pretty comprehensive. If you don't see what you are looking for there I put another option below, just in case.
I don't use BofA. So I can't speak to what they have natively available. But you could always use a bot to scrape it if they present it anywhere in the User Interface.
I would agree with Meena that you should not be able to use curl. But selenium uses a browser to programmatically do just about anything that you would want to do with any website. They also have bindings for many languages. So you could just pick your favorite and go to town...
It seems the API will return a JSON so you may need to find a tool to convert that to a qif or qfx if that part is important. After digging further, I can't test this without having a CashPro account but it seems what you need to do is...
Step 1:
Get an access token from here. You'll need to send this in the header of any requests
Step 2:
Send an http request with a header in the following format:
{
"accounts": [
{
"accountNumber": "xxxxxxx",
"bankId": "xxxxxxx"
}
],
"fromDate": "yyyy-mm-dd",
"toDate": "yyyy-mm-dd"
}
to https://developer.bankofamerica.com/cashpro/reporting/v1/transaction-inquiries/previous-day
Step 3:
You should get a JSON as a response
As mentioned, I can't test this but here's the documentation of the specific API endpoint you need

Wix bookings use getServiceAvailability( ) and exported to JSON

I created a website that accepts appointments online using wix booking. I already managed to export the appointments with all the details to JSON format.
I am trying to do the same to be able to create the appointments from an external app but for this I want to be able to first obtain getServiceAvailability() from wix-bookings API and I can't find a way to do it. I have tried in all the ways that I know and I do not get any results, I am not a programming expert and that is why I ask for help in this way, if someone who knows wix well and how to work with its API that could help me at least have one basis of how to do it. Thank you
If you want to get the availability information from an external service, you can create an HTTP function to expose that information.

Endpoint with Google Flex env

There is bit of a confusion, wondering if somebody can help me with this.
Here is an example which is a year old and uses goapp with polymer and endpoint
https://github.com/googlesamples/cloud-polymer-go
Here is a recent example using gcloud
https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/golang-samples/tree/master/appengine_flexible/endpoints
Both are different as google changed its approach.
As per second example, I am able to create endpoint functions which uses json for input and output. However there are 2 problems
1st. It is throwing error if I put functions in different file under same package. It works when I run go run .go. but then I dont understand how app.yaml come into picture. I think this url /_ah/spi/. should work
2nd. I am using postman app to check the request and response from endpoint. Is there a better way? I thought google does provide a platform to test endpoint.
Is there any example which implements examples similar to 1st one with new libraries?
looking forward for your help. Thanks.

Bulk extract with Authenticated Connector (import.io)

I am new to import.io and this forum.
I am trying to extract information from a target database where I have to run a query with an input. With help of the support, I successfully created the authenticated connector. With multiple inputs that have to be manually entered in the UI, it fetches the data properly.
The problem is I have more than 10,000 inputs to run, so it has to be in a form of bulk extraction. import.io support told me that they do not have this feature within their UI and suggested to use their API posted in here: http://api.docs.import.io/#!/Query_Methods/queryPost.
Could anyone walk me through to make a use of this? I just need a working script that takes multiple string lines as inputs and run the connector that I built and post the result. I am not very familiar with this kind of technology but I am very willing to learn.
Thanks all in advance!
I would be happy to walk you through a bit of an into. It will be a bit basic though since I don't know your specific use case.
Yes, support was correct. You will need to use the POST query in order to pass your authentication credentials as inputs.
I will break down this query by steps. Essentially, our API docs are just a simple UI to pass through your credentials, then you can generate a query API.
ID - This is the GUID of your connector. This information can be found at the end of the URL, like this: https://import.io/data/mine/?tag=CONNECTOR&id=33f4e828-25ce-40c4-948c-9b734c70d1ab
Query - This is where you will put the inputs from your connector in order to execute. Be sure to keep this in structured JSON or it will bring back errors when you are querying.
Once you have successfully entered that information you will query the API.
This will give you the request URL that you need to query the API.
If you have anymore questions, just let me know.
Thanks,
Meg

How does api archive.org works?

As you surely know web.archive.org lets you inspect the history of a domain, ie:http://web.archive.org/web/*/besttatoo.com
I also has an API: http://archive.org/help/json.php
I need to get data from the API but I can't get many info on how to use it, has anyone used it and can paste some examples of use?
This link provides details about the item LovingU on archive.org:
http://archive.org/details/LovingU&output=json
To create an API query to your liking, use this page:
https://archive.org/advancedsearch.php#raw
That page allows you to choose your output format: JSON, XML, HTML, CSV or RSS and also the parameters your want to see. You can limit the number of results, too.
