Google Apps Script Cannot find method createFile((class)) - file-upload

I just started scripting my first Google App and i can't seem to get pass this error.
What my script does is that it creates a form that allows users to enter data into a google spreadsheet.
And upload a file into the folder BIO.
Please help me out!
This is the code.
function doGet(e) {
var app = UiApp.createApplication().setTitle('New app');
var doc = SpreadsheetApp.openById('0AvOeZM3IzF-GdDRyV3NiTjBreC1ONXh0cHdDMlFhRGc');
var grid = app.createGrid(5, 2);
grid.setWidget(0, 0, app.createLabel('Code:'));
grid.setWidget(0, 1, app.createTextBox().setName('codeName'));
grid.setWidget(1, 0, app.createLabel('Uploaded Date'));
grid.setWidget(1, 1, app.createTextBox().setName('date'));
grid.setWidget(2, 0, app.createLabel("maid's Name"));
grid.setWidget(2, 1, app.createTextBox().setName('maidName'));
//creates vertical panel and declare as panel
var panel = app.createVerticalPanel();
panel.add(grid);
var form = app.createFormPanel().setId('frm').setEncoding('multipart/form-data');
panel.add(app.createFileUpload().setName('thefile'));
form.add(panel);
//creates submit button and declare as button
var button = app.createButton('submit');
//notsure
var handler = app.createServerHandler('b');
//notsure
handler.addCallbackElement(grid);
//notsure
button.addClickHandler(handler);
//add submit button to panel.
panel.add(button);
//addpanel to application
app.add(panel);
//display application
app.add(form);
return app;
}
function b(e) {
var doc = SpreadsheetApp.openById('0AvOeZM3IzF-GdDRyV3NiTjBreC1ONXh0cHdDMlFhRGc');
var lastRow = doc.getLastRow(); //Find the last row
var cell = doc.getRange('a1').offset(lastRow, 0); //finds the next empty cell in column A
cell.setValue(e.parameter.codeName);//i can access paremeter codeName because i setname('codeName') just now.
cell.offset(0, 1).setValue(e.parameter.date);
cell.offset(0, 2).setValue(e.parameter.maidName);
var Blob = e.parameter.thefile;
var folder = DocsList.getFolder('BIO');
folder.createFile(Blob);
var app = UiApp.getActiveApplication();
var label = app.createLabel('File Upload Sucess')
app.close(); //close widget
return app; //close widget
}
Thank you guys in advance!
Jasper.

In order to upload a file in a form you have to use a doGet() / doPost() structure and use a submitButton instead of the 'normal' button you are using.
Note that this configuration does not require to add a callBackElement.
Note also that the form must contain only one element and that the fileUpload widget must be a child of the form. I changed a bit the organization of your Ui creation to make it (hopefully) more clear.
You code should be as follows (didn't check for typos) :
function doGet() {
var app = UiApp.createApplication().setTitle('New app');
var doc = SpreadsheetApp.openById('0AnqSFd3iikE3dFBub2t1Ry1PaXJUMUVkSVVSempCenc');
var form = app.createFormPanel();
var panel = app.createVerticalPanel();
var grid = app.createGrid(5, 2);
grid.setWidget(0, 0, app.createLabel('Code:'));
grid.setWidget(0, 1, app.createTextBox().setName('codeName'));
grid.setWidget(1, 0, app.createLabel('Uploaded Date'));
grid.setWidget(1, 1, app.createTextBox().setName('date'));
grid.setWidget(2, 0, app.createLabel("maid's Name"));
grid.setWidget(2, 1, app.createTextBox().setName('maidName'));
//creates vertical panel and declare as panel
panel.add(grid);
panel.add(app.createFileUpload().setName('thefile'));
form.add(panel);
app.add(form);
var button = app.createSubmitButton('submit');
panel.add(button);
return app;
}
function doPost(e) {
var doc = SpreadsheetApp.openById('0AvOeZM3IzF-GdDRyV3NiTjBreC1ONXh0cHdDMlFhRGc');
var lastRow = doc.getLastRow(); //Find the last row
var cell = doc.getRange('a1').offset(lastRow, 0); //finds the next empty cell in column A
cell.setValue(e.parameter.codeName);//i can access paremeter codeName because i setname('codeName') just now.
cell.offset(0, 1).setValue(e.parameter.date);
cell.offset(0, 2).setValue(e.parameter.maidName);
var Blob = e.parameter.thefile;
var folder = DocsList.getFolder('BIO');
folder.createFile(Blob);
var app = UiApp.getActiveApplication();
var label = app.createLabel('File Upload Success')
app.add(label);
return app; //close widget
}
EDIT following your comment :
to get the url of the file you just uploaded, change the code like this :
...
var folder = DocsList.getFolder('BIO');
var url = folder.createFile(Blob).getUrl();
Logger.log(url);
...

Translate an entire page with Google Translate API

I'm using the google Translate API to translate content that's inside an IFRAME. When using the API, I notice that it returns a array(string) with the translated texts, but when inserting it in the DOM, the entire structure disappears, leaving only the text.
The original Page
The result page after the response of the Google API (translate in Portuguese)
This is the code that I'm using:
function translate(lang) {
var iframe = document.getElementById('mainIframe');
var iframeDoc = iframe.contentDocument || iframe.contentWindow.document;
var iframeBody = iframeDoc.body;
var iframeHTML = iframeDoc.documentElement;
var iframeText = iframeBody.innerText || iframeHTML.innerText;
var url = 'https://translate.googleapis.com/translate_a/single?client=gtx&sl=auto&tl=pt&dt=t&q=' + encodeURI(iframeText);
var xhr = new XMLHttpRequest();
xhr.open('GET', url, true);
xhr.onreadystatechange = function() {
if (xhr.readyState == 4) {
var response = JSON.parse(xhr.responseText);
var translatedText = ''
for (var i = 0; i < response[0].length; i++) {
translatedText += response[0][i][0];
}
iframeDoc.body.innerHTML = translatedText;
}
};
xhr.send();
}
How can I not affect the structure within the Iframe (Not to be like the second image I sent above)? Just replace the original text with what comes in the response and leave the original look.
I've already tried using functions to find the original text in the DOM to replace it with the translated text but without success. In this case, the idea was just to replace the text correspondence literally.
Thanks for your help and thanks in advance

Global Variables only Called Once then Lost their Scope

I Have a Problem with my Script and hope helping me, and thanks in advance, i still learning javascript and try to learn somthing new everyday, i have a script that draw modeless interface (palette) and have button including (option) that make another new palette (for options), i made the variables as globals for the option palette, but the problem is the global variables is only called once!, and the script lose the global variable scope!.
enter image description here
so my question is how to make the variables not losing its scope and retain in the memory? as long the script run, as an Example if the user move the slider and hit (Show alert due options) its only run once and then lose the scope, even the slider no longer interact with the user and update text box, please test the code to see the problem, and thank again for any help or advice.

If I understand you correctly you need to use as global variables values rather than the objects. And you can change the values of global variables by onClick events.
Here is the bottom part of your code (the rest part of the code wasn't changed):
...
function TestVars() {
#targetengine "session1";
var myDoc = app.activeDocument
var TimeMs = Number(SliderControlText_text); //Converting Text to Number
//Show Results Found as User Wish
if (DontShowResults_value == true) { //no Show only Apply
alert("you Select not to Show Results!");
} else { //Direct Show and Apply
if (ShowResultsDirect_value == true) {
alert("you Select to Show Results in real time!");
} else { //Show and Apply By WaitinhTime!
if (ShowResults_value == true) { //Show and Apply
alert("you Select to Show Results with Specific time!");
$.sleep(TimeMs); //Wait ms
}
}
}
alert("Do you need somthing else?, try again", "Finish Report");
}
// values! not objects
var DontShowResults_value = true;
var ShowResultsDirect_value = false;
var ShowResults_value = false;
var SliderControlText_text = '10';
var slider_value = 10;
//--------------------------------------------Building the Find Options Palette-----------------------------------------//
//--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------//
function CalltheFindOptions() {
#targetengine "session1";
//Find Options Window
findoptions.text = "Find Options";
//Parent - Input Panel Prepare
SelectPanel = findoptions.add("panel", undefined, undefined, {
name: "panel1"
});
SelectPanel.text = " Find Options : ";
SelectPanel.preferredSize.width = 1000;
SelectPanel.orientation = "row";
SelectPanel.alignChildren = ["center", "center"];
SelectPanel.spacing = 10;
SelectPanel.margins = 16;
//Children - input Panel Inside Prepare
var mySelectPanelInside = SelectPanel.add("group", undefined, {
name: "mySelOpt"
});
var DontShowResults = mySelectPanelInside.add("checkbox", undefined, "Don't Show Results");
DontShowResults.value = DontShowResults_value; //by Default
DontShowResults.alignment = "left";
// change the global variable by click
DontShowResults.onClick = function() { DontShowResults_value = DontShowResults.value }
var ShowResultsDirect = mySelectPanelInside.add("checkbox", undefined, "Show Results");
ShowResultsDirect.value = false; //by Default
// change the global variable by click
ShowResultsDirect.onClick = function() { ShowResultsDirect_value = ShowResultsDirect.value }
var ShowResults = mySelectPanelInside.add("checkbox", undefined, "Show Results Delayed in milliseconds(Ms) :");
ShowResults.value = ShowResults_value; //by Default
// change the global variable by click
ShowResults.onClick = function() { ShowResults_value = ShowResults.value }
//Adding Slider to Control MS Time
// SliderControlText = mySelectPanelInside.add("edittext", undefined, 10, {
var SliderControlText = mySelectPanelInside.add("edittext", undefined, SliderControlText_text, {
readonly: false
}); //read only prevent user Entering Nums
SliderControlText.characters = 3;
var slider = mySelectPanelInside.add("slider {minvalue: 1, maxvalue: 100, value: 10}");
// change slider every time as numbers is changes
SliderControlText.onChanging = function() {slider.value = SliderControlText.text};
//Slider Listener Plus SliderControl Text Listener
slider.onChanging = function () {
SliderControlText.text = slider.value;
// change the global variable by onChange
SliderControlText_text = SliderControlText.text;
} //Listen to Slider
findoptions.show();
}
It seems it works as intended.
As far as I can tell (I can be wrong), the cause of the problem was that the objects ShowResultsDirect, ShowResultsDirect, etc, disappears as soon as you close the palette. Because they are elements of the palette. They can't keep values if the palette is closed. That why they worked well only when you open the palette first time.

API integration using google app script calling methods on google sheets

I would like to add different API request on a spreadsheet where i already add some google app script code from here in oder to retrieve all orders from a woocommerce external source, however now i want to add another API calling request which allows me to list all products on my woocommerce source. So i type a new function below, modify the endpoint to /wp-json/wc/v3/products according to woocommerce API rest documentation here Woocommerce API rest doc. Here is the code i add to the Github code :
// Custom code to v2 Woocommerce API
function start_syncv2() {
var sheet = SpreadsheetApp.getActiveSpreadsheet().getSheetByName(Products);
fetch_products(sheet)
}
function fetch_products(sheet) {
var ck = SpreadsheetApp.getActiveSpreadsheet().getSheetByName(OrderDetails).getRange("B4").getValue();
var cs = SpreadsheetApp.getActiveSpreadsheet().getSheetByName(OrderDetails).getRange("B5").getValue();
var website = SpreadsheetApp.getActiveSpreadsheet().getSheetByName(OrderDetails).getRange("B3").getValue();
var surl = website + "/wp-json/wc/v3/sheet?consumer_key=" + ck + "&consumer_secret=" + cs + "&after=" + "&per_page=100";
var url = surl
Logger.log(url)
var options =
{
"method": "GET",
"Content-Type": "application/x-www-form-urlencoded;charset=UTF-8",
"muteHttpExceptions": true,
};
var result = UrlFetchApp.fetch(url, options);
Logger.log(result.getResponseCode())
if (result.getResponseCode() == 200) {
var params = JSON.parse(result.getContentText());
Logger.log(result.getContentText());
}
var doc = SpreadsheetApp.getActiveSpreadsheet();
var temp = SpreadsheetApp.getSheetByName(sheet);
var consumption = {};
var arrayLength = params.length;
Logger.log(arrayLength)
for (var i = 0; i < arrayLength; i++) {
Logger.log("dfsfsdfsf")
var a;
var container = [];
a = container.push(params[i]["id"]);
Logger.log(a)
a = container.push(params[i]["name"]);
a = container.push(params[i]["sku"]);
a = container.push(params[i]["price"]);
a = container.push(params[i]["tax_status"]);
a = container.push(params[i]["stock_status"]);
a = container.push(params[i]["categories"]["name"]);
a = container.push(params[i]["images"]);
a = container.push(params[i]["attributes"]["options"]);
a = container.push(params[i]["_links"]["self"]["href"]);
var doc = SpreadsheetApp.getActiveSpreadsheet();
var temp = doc.getSheetByName(sheet);
temp.appendRow(container);
}
}
I have issue using google sheets calling method describe here. As i want my new API call request, i think my main problem is to select the right sheet into the spreadsheet.

Google App Script - Save Spreadsheet to PDF saved on Google Drive

I'm trying to save all of the sheets on my spreadsheet to google drive as one PDF (ultimately I would like to have them email as well). I'm having trouble saving more than just one of the sheets. I've tried multiple way of doing it. The code below is the best way I've found so far. Again the problem is that it only saves the first page as a PDF, I cant figure out how to get around the delete redundant sheets. All the posts I have seen only want to save 1 page, I have over 24 pages that need to be saved as one PDF. Thanks in advance for your help!
function PDF() {
var sheetName = SpreadsheetApp.getActiveSpreadsheet();
var folderID = "*** Google Drive ID***"; // Folder id to save in a Drive folder.
var ss = SpreadsheetApp.openByUrl(
'https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/***Spreadsheet ID***');
var pdfName = "MAR - " + ss.getRange("A1:A1").getValue(); //Need to set the values to another sheet
var sourceSpreadsheet = SpreadsheetApp.getActive();
var sourceSheet = sourceSpreadsheet.getSheetByName(sheetName);
var folder = DriveApp.getFolderById(folderID);
//Copy whole spreadsheet
var destSpreadsheet = SpreadsheetApp.open(DriveApp.getFileById(sourceSpreadsheet.getId()).makeCopy("tmp_convert_to_pdf", folder))
//delete redundant sheets
var sheets = destSpreadsheet.getSheets();
for (i = 0; i < sheets.length; i++) {
if (sheets[i].getSheetName() != sheetName){
destSpreadsheet.deleteSheet(sheets[i]);
}
}
var destSheet = destSpreadsheet.getSheets()[0];
//repace cell values with text (to avoid broken references)
var sourceRange = sourceSheet.getRange(1,1,sourceSheet.getMaxRows(),sourceSheet.getMaxColumns());
var sourcevalues = sourceRange.getValues();
var destRange = destSheet.getRange(1, 1, destSheet.getMaxRows(), destSheet.getMaxColumns());
destRange.setValues(sourcevalues);
//save to pdf
var theBlob = destSpreadsheet.getBlob().getAs('application/pdf').setName(pdfName);
var newFile = folder.createFile(theBlob);
//Delete the temporary sheet
DriveApp.getFileById(destSpreadsheet.getId()).setTrashed(true);
}
By using Drive API, you can convert from a spreadsheet to a PDF which has all sheets in the spreadsheet. In order to use this, so please enable Drive API on Google API Console as follows.
In the script editor, select Resources > Cloud Platform Project
At the bottom of the dialog, click the link for the Google API Console.
In the console, click into the filter box and type part of the name of the API "Drive API", then click the name once you see it.
On the next screen, click Enable API.
Close the Developers Console and return to the script editor. Click OK in the dialog.
I prepared a sample script for creating PDF file from spreadsheet. Please use this to your script.
Script :
var spreadsheetId = "#####";
var folderId = "#####";
var outputFilename = "#####";
var url = "https://www.googleapis.com/drive/v3/files/" + spreadsheetId + "/export?mimeType=application/pdf";
var options = {
method: "GET",
headers: {Authorization: "Bearer " + ScriptApp.getOAuthToken()},
muteHttpExceptions: true
};
var response = UrlFetchApp.fetch(url, options).getBlob();
DriveApp.getFolderById(folderId).createFile(response).setName(outputFilename);
About this script, although I confirmed this works fine, if it doesn't work at your environment, please tell me. And if I misunderstand your question, I'm sorry.
Added 1 :
