dropbox ios api - get thumbnails of all photos - objective-c

I'm trying to implement my own dropbox photo chooser for iPhone, using dropBox SDK. I can't use the normal chooser because I have a different design.
At the moment I'm succeeding only in receiving meta data for all images, but I can't get thumbnails at all.
Is it a possible thing to do? thanks.

THis is probaby way too late but the new sdk has thumbail batch downloads.
Search for "GetThumbnailBatch" in the code.

How to get other people or page video thumbnail from facebook?

is there a way you can get video thumbnail from another people video or post?
I tried searching in google and stackoverflow and all i found is getting your own video thumbnail which is working fine by using https://graph.facebook.com/v11.0/443055553744880/thumbnails?access_token=my_access_token but it is not working if i change the video_id to other people video_id (443055553744880 is the video_id). I want to get any public video thumbnail regardless of who post it, not just my own video. Is there anyway to do that?
Thanks in advance
No, that is not really possible.
For access to videos on pages you do not have admin access to, you would need the Page Public Content Access feature - only the purpose of that is to “Provide competitive benchmark analysis”, so it is probably unlikely you would get it approved for other purposes such as to show videos on your site.
And for access to any content on user profiles, you would need the individual user’s permission first.
If you just want to show the videos somewhere, then you can use the Embedded Video & Live Video Player for that, or the oEmbed endpoints.

implementing xmp data or dng data on other images in mobile app

I'm trying to build a mobile app (react-native or native languages) that will be able to take xmp file (in other words is presets of photos) and implement its data on other photo, or implementing dng settings on another photo.
What I'm trying to understand if that is even possible, to use Lightroom presets outside of Lightroom App.
Did someone here succeed to implement his\her own Lightroom preset without using Lightroom on mobile?
I dont think so cuz every app has different sets of editing skills, the best I think you could do is to create an app from where a user will click on DNG and it will open in Lightroom.

Playing youtube/vevo videos on iOS

I've seen the Google blog article explaining the way to embed youtube videos in an iOS app. I've successfully embed videos in my iOS app. BUT, I've seen the WhoSampled app where they are able to play Vevo/youtube videos. Somehow they are able to play those videos and my app is not able to play them. (In my app, there is a blue play circle with a line through it showing that is not playable.)
How do I allow those videos to be playable?
Do I have to setup the youtube link in a specific way or is there a way I need to setup the developer key?
There is a way to get the actual video stream for a given YouTube video instead of the HTML-embedded one. See this project:
https://github.com/hellozimi/HCYoutubeParser
The problem with this approach is that it will likely violate the EULA of YouTube APIs, especially if you are releasing it in a paid application:
In addition, please remember that attempting to play a YouTube video outside of either the YouTube embedded, custom or chromeless player is strictly prohibited by the API Terms of Service.

You just have to use the iframe embed as opposed to the Flash one.

Which one is the folder containing iPhone/iPad images

I'm developing an application and I'd like to list the images present in the "Documents" directory of my application (to load images using iTunes) and I'd like to list the images and photos taken by the Camera as well.
And I do know about UIImagePickerController, but I don't need that. I want to integrate the photos and the loaded application images in the same place. But I can't find any information about where can I find all the device camera photos.
Thanks in advance
You can access all the photos stored in the photo library using the Assets Library Framework. Check out the documentation here:
https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/AssetsLibrary/Reference/AssetsLibraryFramework/_index.html
Specifically, you want to use ALAssetsLibrary's enumerateGroupsWithTypes:usingBlock:failureBlock: to enumerate the ALAssetsGroupSavedPhotos type, and enumerate the photos in that group with ALAssetGroup's enumerateAssetsUsingBlock:.

Play brightcove videos

I want to play a remote video hosted in Brightcove. As Brightcove URLs are links to players not direct links to video files the AVPlayer won't do it.
I know Brightcove provides an API but can't find any good examples for iOS nor documentation.
Any help/pointing direction appreciated.
I haven't used Brightcove, but poking around their site, I see they have two APIs: a Player API and a Media API. It sounds like the Media API is what you want — it's documented as giving direct references to the videos. The page has a link to several examples.
You can also lift alot of the code from their Oneplanet demo source. In fact the whole playlist and video player mechanism can be practically copied into your project so all you need to do is pass a video or playlist ID into their initwithnibandplaylist function in their view controller and you're good to go.
I hope this helps your question. There is a renditions which contain direct video link.
Here is a link for api link.
http://support.brightcove.com/en/video-cloud/docs/accessing-video-content-media-api
renditions is a javascript object containing multiple video links based on resolutions such as 360,460, 720.
You can find the direct link to the video via the media api, bypassing the player API entirely. You need a pro account and a token:
http://support.brightcove.com/en/docs/getting-started-media-api
Alternatively, you can create a simple "player" without any controls (just a video window actually) and make your own HTML controls totally outside of Brightcove to trigger almost anything you'd want to do via the player API.
There is also a Brightcove iOS SDK. It is really two SDKs one for the Media API and one that includes a MediaPlayer. If you want to use the AVPlayer you can use the Media API iOS SDK. Here is the docs for that:
