Trying relational division on oracle (right parenthesis missing?) - sql

I'm trying to execute the following query in Oracle:
SELECT c.id_cliente, c.nombre_cliente, c.apellidos_cliente
FROM cliente c
WHERE not exists (SELECT f.id_finca
FROM finca f
WHERE f.habitaciones = 3
EXCEPT
SELECT v.id_fincas
FROM visitas v
WHERE v.id_cliente = c.id_cliente)
But I am getting the error "missing right parenthesis".
The parenthesis are well-balanced, how can I solve this error?

Use MINUS instead of EXCEPT.
SELECT c.id_cliente,
c.nombre_cliente,
c.apellidos_cliente
FROM cliente c
WHERE NOT EXISTS (SELECT f.id_finca
FROM finca f
WHERE f.habitaciones = 3
MINUS
SELECT v.id_fincas
FROM visitas v
WHERE v.id_cliente = c.id_cliente)

there is no operator EXCEPT in Oracle. Use MINUS instead of it.
Additionally, your query seems weird: better try to make it with two not exists, I think it can give some performance.

Ambigously defined column in a subquery

I've the following subquery in an sql query:

Problem I have I believe lies in that both table ALUMNOS and UNIDADES have a column named 'NOMBRE' so if I attempt to execute the query I obtain:
00000 - "column ambiguously defined"
To avoid that I thought about changing NOMBRE AS NOMBREUNIDAD to:
UNIDADES.NOMBRE AS NOMBREUNIDAD
But if I do that I get a:
00000 - "not a GROUP BY expression"
So, I don't know what to do so that subquery executes properly.
What should I change to properly execute query without changing the column name?
Aliases are pretty useful, if you use them. The simplify queries and make them easier to read and maintain. I'd suggest you to do so, as it'll also help query to work because Oracle doesn't know which table you actually meant when you selected those 4 columns - which tables do they belong to?
This is just a guess as I don't know your tables so you'll have to fix it yourself. Also, I literally JOINed tables; try to avoid comma-separating them in FROM clause and doing join in WHERE clause as it is supposed to filter data.
GROUP BY, as already commented, is probably useless. If you wanted to fetch distinct set of values, then use appropriate keyword: distinct.

What is the syntax problem here using this subquery inside where clause

Incorrect syntax near ')'. Expecting AS, FOR_PATH, ID, or QUOTED_ID.
Consider the following example:

The query above works as is. But the problem is, that if you uncomment the commented out lines, you get the following error message: "T.TABNAME" is an undefined name. and least in Db2 for Linux, Unix and Windows.
You can't push external to the sub-select column references too deeply.
So, your query is incorrect.
It's hard to correct it, until you provide the task description with data sample and the result expected.
I can see a potential syntax errors: It seems that CS245 refers to a value c.cnum may take and not a column name. If that is the case, it should be enclosed in single quotes.

ORA-00936: missing expression Java SQL Exception

I´ve been trying to find the error in this statement for a few hours and can´t seem to find it.
It must have something to do with the AND connecting the two WHERE´s since when deleting the first WHERE it works:

Too many WHERE. You only need where once, then use ANDs and ORs to combine conditions:

Why do I get this error? I'm trying to do queries and for this i need of several selects from different tables, without any combination, but I'm getting this error and I don't known why.

You dont have semicolon (;) after end of first select... So this:
join kontrahent0 k on d.idkntrh=k.idkntrh
should be:

HIVE - hive subquery is not working with case when statement with IN clause

My error signature is

According to the Hive Language Manual: "Hive supports subqueries only in the FROM clause".
Your CASE WHEN is part of the SELECT clause, but it includes includes a SELECT subquery. Seems like that is not supported, so your syntax is not correct (in Hive).
Perhaps you could stage the data in MySQL using the query you have and then load it into Hive using a simple SELECT without CASE WHEN?
