How to QuickBlox cloudcode? - quickblox

How I make custom cloudcode on QuickBlox ?
I found https://github.com/soulfly/QuickBlox-cloudcode but how can I pass parameters to cloud ?

QuickBlox doesn't provide an ability to upload custom code to the cloud.
It's just my temporary workaround how to do it, but it's now finished yet.
Here is how it can work:
1) Use QuickBlox Web SDK to write some code on javascript http://quickblox.com/developers/Web .
Here is an example of simple script which creates session, get custom objects and return to user https://github.com/soulfly/QuickBlox-cloudcode/blob/master/Web/qb_cloudcode_demo.html
2) Upload this file to QuickBlox Content module, use Admin panel
3) Use public url of this file and load it in mobile app in WebView. It will perform all your custom code and render result. You just need to extract this final result and use in application.
That's all, I will try to finalise it soon, but you also can do it

Create Custom Alert Action on Spkunk

I want to create custom alert action on Splunk that will ingest saved searches from splunk to my software. I have gone through the documentation:
https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/latest/AdvancedDev/ModAlertsIntro
My issue is I want some guidelines in creating this custom alert action. I have gone through a youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqJAc7rpFmQ .He created the UI using code. Do I need to code as well? If yes, do I create folders on my local desktop and then how to integrate the code on splunk for testing? And which folder will pass the saved search to my source code?
Or can I use add-on builder to create this?
So far, I have created an add-on using an add-on builder and declared input parameters and edited the script but it doesnot seem to work.
I just need some guidance to kick start my project.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Firebase Console Dynamic Link OFL Parameter

I need a dynamic link (short url) that:
on mobile:
when app is installed -> open app
when app is not installed -> open store
on desktop:
open specific web url
I managed to get it working for the mobile part. However, on desktop it also opens the deeplink for the app. The documentation states to use the OFL parameter for that. Now if I manually add this parameter to the long url everything works as expected but I need a short url. How can I add this parameter via Firebase Console directly?
Cheers
The 'ofl' feature is not yet available for Dynamic Links created via the Firebase console. Currently, this is only possible with Manual URL construction dynamic link. The idea is to add the "ofl" parameter to the url to make the FDL redirect another URL on the desktop, like displaying a full web page of the app content.
I faced the same problem and i fixed it by using the property longDynamicLink that the DynamicLinkParameters object provides as they said in documentation:
/// Set the long Dynamic Link when building a short link (i.e. using `buildShortLink()` API). This allows the user to append
/// additional query strings that would otherwise not be possible (e.g. "ofl" parameter). This will not work if using buildLink() API.
final Uri? longDynamicLink;

Parsing ActionCodeSettings in iOS via dynamic link

I'm trying to direct the user directly back to my iOS app when they sign up for a new Firebase account and click on the verification link in their email, but I'm unable to access the parameters generated in the ActionCodeSettings.
I'm doing this via a dynamic link, and it does redirect the user back to my app, but the url params are not exposed. I have tried the AppDelegate code from the Firebase documentation here, but no luck.
I've seen mention of an applyActionCode method in Swift but if I can't even surface the query string from the link then there's nothing for me to pass to that method anyway.
Anyone ever deal with this before?

Directus - create a file in a hook

I am using hooks to update some data when the user uploads a file.
One of the use-cases is that we want to generate a "preview-image" from the input data, upload it and attach it to the item.
https://docs.directus.io/extensions/hooks.html#creating-hooks
How can I access the API or create/save a directus file entry within the hooks?
You should be able to use the API normally within a hook. So you can use the "Create File" endpoint to upload the preview image, within a blocking files.create.before (in v9).
https://github.com/directus/next/blob/main/docs/guides/extensions/api-hooks.md
That said, Directus will automatically create preview images using the thumbnailing system... so you shouldn't even have to build this custom.

Can I create a Whitelist for Safari using OpenUrl in Xamarin.Forms?

I am working on a project using Xamarin.Forms as a container app. This app includes several webviews that link to restricted web content. One of these links our Sharepoint site. The Sharepoint site has a link that allows our users to go to a 3rd party site(Cornerstone) to view training videos. When using the stock UIWebView, WKWebView, or SFSafariViewController the popup that displays the video is not shown. The only way that I can get this video to play in my app is to use OpenURL to open the Sharepoint site in Safari. The problem is that this is an Enterprise solution where we don't want to allow the employees free reign with the browser.
Is there a way to create a whitelist or to have some control over the searchbar or read the url that they are linking to and block it or redirect the user?
Unfortunately as it's farming out the URL Navigation external to your application there's not a lot you can do from within your app to restrict what they do after the fact, 'openURL' only returns a Boolean value as to it's success, and the only parameters that you can send to it are:
application - Reference to this application
(UIApplication.SharedApplication).
url - The NSUrl specified by the
calling application.
sourceApplication - The bundle ID of the calling
application.
annotation -Optional property-list data passed by the
calling application.
You can only access these if you override the 'openURL' method within your 'AppDelegate.cs' class, there is a set of options you can pass through as an override but again none of those allow you to restrict what the user does after the browser has opened.
If the devices are managed using something like 'meraki' or some other software to control the use of managed devices, then you would likely set up a 'group policy' styled set of restrictions however that's not really a Xamarin issue, and should be discussed with the network administrators.
That being said, I don't see any reason why you can't use the WebView1, that way you can handle it all within your application. Or alternative utilize custom renderers and pass in the direct video urls and commit to opening up the devices media player for streaming the content2.
1 Playing videos in WebView
2 Using the media manager plugin.
