how to open new view from navigation slider ios. example like in facebook page there is navigation slider and in navigation slider there are profile,message etc.when we click on message and profile then there is new view ,similarly please let me know how to load new view from navigation slider?
From this tutorial:
http://github.com/mikefrederick/MFSideMenu
MFSideMenu project utilizes view controller and gives you a simple API demonstration for implementing side-menu functionality like facebook app.
This is a good tutorial : http://www.appcoda.com/ios-programming-sidebar-navigation-menu/
The menu slides in from the left, however it should be relatively simple to change this so it enters from the right.

I am creating a React native application with the following scenario:
There is a navigation bar at the bottom of the screen, allowing the user to navigate between three main pages. On one of these pages, there is a backdrop with a container overlayed on it with two buttons. Each of these buttons should show open different "pages" in that container, and the navigation bar will be hidden when the user opens one of those "pages". An image is included below.
App layout example
My question is: how is this best implemented in react native?
My original idea was to implement a custom Stack Navigator with createStackNavigator. While this does work, I was wondering if this is a good way to go about it.
One result from using a custom navigator is that the navigation state in the container is also bound to the back button of the device (on Android). However, this is a welcome feature in this case as it makes sense in the navigation flow.
I'm practicing Jetpack Compose, I'm trying to create a screen that load texts and image content when navigated to.
Here's what I mean;
[Referencing the android developer soothe app.] If I make the rows clickable. And I want to navigate to a screen containing details of Inversions, quick yoga or stretching, depending on which is clicked.
What compose navigation feature should I use to create it??
I did a bit of research previously but I haven't been able to find what I need.
Just in case it's needed, I'll add these.
my compose navigation version;
def nav_version = "2.5.2"
implementation "androidx.navigation:navigation-compose:$nav_version"
I'll be sinerely greatful for any help. Thanks in advance.
If I understood you correctly, you want to navigate to a seperate screen when you click one of the items inside the Horizontal LazyRow. In order to do this you will need to implement navigation using compose navigation library: https://developer.android.com/jetpack/compose/navigation
and you will need to add an onClick event for each item in that LazyRow. For this you would need to set up a NavController, Navhost and Routes for each item.
I have set up something similar but with a navigation Drawer, maybe it will help you understand how the navigation works in jetpack compose!
Navigating between composable's using a Navigation Drawer in Jetpack Compose
Hope this will help you!
I am working on Bottom Navigation bar using fragment. What is the difference if we use bottom navigation bar with View Pager or Nav Graph?
il explain in a very easy way to understand
Nav graph is way for developer to connect fragments, before this way wasnt available in android, we used to be able to do only through code, think of nav graph as a enlarged google maps preview of your city. Below screenshot
Bottom navigation (highlighted in orange)is a navigation between your fragments
View Pager(highlighted in red) is a way to have to different parts in one fragment, for example in my news fragment i have crypto news and saved news.
here googles tutorial on it if your wanna have a deeper look https://developer.android.com/guide/navigation/navigation-getting-started
I have created a View where the NavigationBar comes from Obj-c(Native code) and the rest of the view comes from React Native.
Now in the react native view, i have a link which should show the content in a new screen with the navigation experience. I am able to show the content but unable to find a way to change navBar title and show back button on the navBar.
Can you please let me know how we can get access to NavigationBar(Obj-c) in ReactNative?
I don't believe React Native supports this. You cannot take an object created in one language and access it in another. It would be a better idea to create your navigation bar in your JS and use it throughout your app. That even allows you to propagate that UI to your android apps.
I'm new to iOS development and recently started out with rubymotion.
Im currently working on a "start page" kind of application that loads an in app html/css/js file in a webview. The "start page" then links to different sections/pages on (a to be released) responsive design version of http://hiof.no .
My current build of the app is based on the PaintHTML example:
https://github.com/HipByte/RubyMotionSamples/tree/master/PaintHTML
The feature I'm stuck on at the moment is previous/next page navigation to navigate back and forth in the webview history.
The idea of the navigation feature is to have previous/forward buttons positioned fixed on the bottom left side of the app similar to the Path app "new content" button.
Any ideas how I can implement access to the webview history with "native" rubymotion code?
the UIWebView have to methods UIWebView#goBack and UIWebView#goForward,
create two button and set the action to #webView.goBack and #webView.goForward; and you can enable the button with the methods [UIWebView#canGoForward and UIWebView#canGoBack]
