What happened to the checkboxes in the CRM 2013 Subgrid - dynamics-crm-2013

Am I missing something or did Microsoft remove the capability to select a particular record in a Subgrid in CRM 2013?
In 2011 selecting a record in a subgrid would change the context of the ribbon buttons to the entity that the subgrid was displaying. Also, when a custom button was clicked on the form, we had access to primaryEntityTypeName, primaryEntity, selectedEntities in the event handler.
This was a really useful feature. Does anyone know if it can be enabled somehow?

You may refer to this post. As you can see it 3-rd point from now there is no ribbon bar for subgrid as it was before, there are only 2 buttons on top of it: Add New and Open Associated Sub Grid. There is no way to change this.
Don't know if it will work out for yours situation but you may use Associated Views like in this post.

VS 2019 Visual Basic navigation bar class list not refreshing when selecting

I recently installed VS 2019 Preview, and i'm facing this issue:
In my VB code editor, in the navigation bar, when i try to choose a class (button, dropdowlist,...) it's not working: the list of classes it's not refreshing, the class i tried to select is not selected, so i can't be able to edit/create an event for the class i need to edit. I manually have to search for the event, or to create it manually.
Is it malfunction of the Editor? is it a bad configuration? or do i need to re-install VS 2019 ...?
Thanks in advance, looking forward for your comments on above.
I am not sure why your chose the Preview edition. I never used it. I have the latest VS 2019. In my version I can choose any control on the form in the middle drop down and the events for that control appear in the right drop down.
Another way to add the stub for an event procedure. Is available in Design View. Select a control and view the properties window. On the toolbar choose the lightning bolt. All the events for that control are listed. Double click on the event you want and the stub will be inserted in the code editor.
Of course, you can always just type in the event procedure, as long as it has the correct signature and handles clause, it will work.

How do I add a global button (for all entities) on the CRM 2013 Command Bar

I want to create a global button for all the entities.
I tried the following:
Created a sample solution with entity Application Ribbon
Opened the Application Ribbon Entity in Ribbon Workbench
Under Command Bar -> Home . Placed a button besides New Record
However after publish I am not able to view the button.
How do I resolve this?
The answer is from Mithilesh Kumar, and can be found on this page:
https://community.dynamics.com/crm/f/117/t/155542
You need to find the Group where you want to show the Button.
If you want to show on the Home Page for all Entity, find the Group as below and place the Button in this Group.
If you want to show in the Forms of all Entity, you need to place in the Group in the Form Area, shown below
Hope that clarifies
Modifying the XML you need to rely on the {!EntityLogicalName} keyword inside the location.

List Custom Button IDs in Outlook 2010 Inspector Ribbon

I have an inspector in Outlook 2010 that contains a button that was placed in the Show group in the ribbon. The inspector current item is an appointment item. The form that this button originally belonged to no longer exists but, the button remains in the Show group and there is no documentation on this button. Is there a way to list all of the buttons by ID that are in the current ribbon? I'm looking to find the ID of this button so I can set enabled to false in my XML but, have had no luck thus far.
EDIT: To be a little more precise, I'm looking to loop through all of the elements in the ribbon in Outlook so I can find the correct ID of a button I want to remove from it. I'm using C#, .NET 4.0 and VSTO for the add-in.
Answering this myself in case anyone needs it.
You can use HideFormPage("Button Name") to hide the orphaned button placed in the ribbon by a custom form. There is no need to loop through the ribbon and find it.
Application.ActiveInspector.HideFormPage("Button Name");

How can we add approval button field on view of a list in SharePoint 2010

I have a requirement where I want to add a button called approve on the bottom of read item list page. This is something when I click on approve button should change the status of list using whatever (javascript, workflow).
Please suggest how can I do this with the existing list. I have attached the screenshot below
I'll be very grateful for all of your advise
If you open a list in SharePoint designer. There is a section called Forms. You can use it to edit existing (add/edit/view) form or add a new one.

Insert javascript code in a list form.

I have a list, and want to insert custom javascript code in a new form for this list (when form loaded). For example, when new form for this list is opened, I want to make some layout modifications for this form.
How it can be done? And how many ways exist to achieve this?
Thanks.
Upd: I ask about SharePoint list, and SharePoint list forms, I suppose you look at the tags of the question :).
You put tags for both SharePoint 2007 and 2010 and the methods are a bit different.
I agree with the previous post that with SP2010 you can simply use InfoPath designer for form design and do whatever you like to the look.
In SharePoint 2007, there are a couple ways incuding using SharePoint Designer, editing the form .aspx file, hiding the out of the box form and inserting a custom form which you will then be able to edit. You can also add in JavaScript code there as well.
My preferred method if you are just making some visual modifications is always JQuery which you can add in to a content editor and you can look for the particular tags surrounding rows or columns and attach to them and make your changes.
I think your question and tags need further clarification to get an articulate answer from anyone that will actually help you.
You can edit the layout using InfoPath 2010 like described here:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint-designer-help/edit-list-forms-using-infopath-2010-in-sharepoint-designer-HA101631624.aspx
If you've got the SP2010 Foundation or SP2007 version, you can create custom list forms using SP Designer which gives you the option to do whatever you like since those are .aspx files.
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint-designer-help/create-a-custom-list-form-HA010119111.aspx
You can also edit the aspx List form in SP designer. To add Javascript or jQuery you should create a form for New in PS design then edit in Advanced mode to insert your Javascript in the proper place. There are many tutorials on the Web that talk about this... Also, you can add content editor webparts to the new aspx page where you can insert your Javascript or jQuery.
