I have bunch of SQL insert statements like this
Insert into CHANGE_PROPERTY (EXCHANGE_PROPERTY_ID, NAMR...) values(**'113'**,'ABC')
I need to replace the PK value(EXCHANGE_PROPERTY_ID column) with sequence. After that the above query will be
Insert into CHANGE_PROPERTY (EXCHANGE_PROPERTY_ID, NAMR...) values(**SEQ.nextval**,'ABC')
Doing it manually will consume lot of time.I heard i can use regular expression in Notepad++ editor to do it but don't have any idea how to use it.
Can someone please tell me which regular expression to use?

replace values\([^,]+ with values(SEQ.nextval.

I have a view called 'selectView' in my postgresql database.
How i can get the results in to my server.js(nodejs code) like,
select * from selectView
Please suggest.
Sorry for the earlier mis-understanding. Didn't know node.js was server-side. A little search engine (you know the one) tells me that there's a postgresql library available for node.js. That should help you out.

I'd like to find the epoch time at which a certain row was loaded, so that I can pick out appropriate table decorators for fetching other events loaded in close proximity. How can I query this data?
AFAIK there is no automatically created column that holds the row time of creation - but you could certainly add one while loading data.

I have the following URL in a table and I am given the responsibility to develop a script to remove the dots around the date.
For example:
The Date: 2013.01.20 should be read like the following in the url:
http://local.website.net/doc/q?file=5448245&date=20130829&ref=65457
Note the dots for http://local.website.net should not be removed.
How I can get started on this?
DECLARE #doc varchar(500) = 'http://local.website.net/doc/q?file=5448245&date=2013.08.29&ref=65457'
SELECT SUBSTRING(#doc,0,CHARINDEX('date=',#doc))+REPLACE(SUBSTRING(#doc,CHARINDEX('date=',#doc),LEN(#doc)),'.','')

Simple question but a search online yields no results. In Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, what is the Query for adding a new row? I want to know what the actual script is. If one of the fields is auto-incremented, how is that managed in the sql command?
Assume you have two columns autoNum and MyColumNName in table called tablename...
Insert into tableName (MyColumnName) Values ('Test');
you don't need to include the autonumber field as the system will automatically handle it.

Can User can be grant select on the specified database rather than the specified table in oracle? How to write the query? Thank you.
I guess you are talking about schemas on the same Oracle server. Answer is no, you need to grant access for each table in another schema. (NOTE: There is SELECT ANY but that is not a good path - it is for all schemas. It is not good because of security reasons)
