Initialize structure - vb.net

Public Enum eSourceMode
AUS = 0
EIN = 1
End Enum
Public Structure tSourceChannel
Dim OnOff() As eSourceMode
Dim chan_nr As Short
End Structure
I'm trying to set value to
For i = gSources.GetLowerBound(0) To gSources.GetUpperBound(0) Step 1
gSources(i).chan_nr = i
'gSources is 0 based ?
If gSources.GetLowerBound(0) = 0 Then
k = i + 1
Else
k = i
End If
Dim hehe As Integer = gSources.Count
For j = gNoiseBands.GetLowerBound(0) To gNoiseBands.GetUpperBound(0) Step 1
'ab 17.1.2012: gNrSources sets nr of available outputs
If k <= gNrSources Then
gSources(i).OnOff(j) = eSourceMode.EIN
Else
gSources(i).OnOff(j) = eSourceMode.AUS
End If
Next j
Next i
result is exception
System.NullReferenceException occurred
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
I need this, because I have .ini file and these values :
"gSources0",1,0,1,1,1,1,1
"gSources1",1,1,1,1,1,1,1
"gSources2",1,1,1,1,1,1,1
"gSources3",1,1,1,1,1,1,1
Result of should be for an example :
gSources(0).OnOff(0) = 1 , gSources(0).OnOff(1) = 0

Here you declare that OnOff is an array
Dim OnOff() As eSourceMode
but you never define how large the array should be or assign memory to the array.
'...
Dim hehe As Integer = gSources.Count
'Specify array size
Redim gSources(i).OnOff(gNoiseBands.GetUpperBound(0) - gNoiseBands.GetLowerBound(0))
For j = gNoiseBands.GetLowerBound(0) To gNoiseBands.GetUpperBound(0) Step 1
'...
Next j

VB trying to call function with multiple outputs getting "Unable to cast object of type 'System.Object[,]' to type 'System.String[,]'." Error

I'm trying to use a function with multiple outputs (an array and two integers). I thought I had it working but today I am getting an error, "Unable to cast object of type 'System.Object[,]' to type 'System.String[,]'."
The function:
Public Function convArray(ByVal inputArray As String(,)) As (outputArray As String(,), outputRows As Integer, outputCol As Integer)
Dim sColumns As Integer
Dim sRows As Integer
Dim AscArray As Boolean
sRows = inputArray.GetLength(1)
sColumns = inputArray.GetLength(0)
Dim outputArray(sColumns - 1, sRows - 1)
If inputArray(0, 1) > inputArray(0, 2) Then
AscArray = False
Else
AscArray = True
End If
For k As Integer = 0 To sColumns - 1
outputArray(k, 0) = inputArray(k, 0)
Next
For i As Integer = 0 To sColumns - 1
For j As Integer = 1 To sRows - 1
If AscArray Then
outputArray(i, j) = inputArray(i, j)
Else
outputArray(i, j) = inputArray(i, sRows - j)
End If
Next
Next
Return (outputArray, sRows, sColumns)
End Function
The call:
Dim blrArray = convArray(s)
sDRows = blrArray.outputRows
sDColumns = blrArray.outputCol
ReDim sD(sDColumns - 1, sDRows - 1)
sD = blrArray.outputArray
s and sD are arrays defined elsewhere.
I'm getting the error on the "Return" part of the function.
I apologize in advance for my inefficient code, i'm still pretty new at it.

If it's possible try check the coding here, perhaps this place was the place that i do it wrongly
I initially thought of using BitCoverter.GetBytes() to convert the long and Ulong datatype value
But in the end, the bitconverter.getbytes() doesn't work for me so i have to first convert all those long and ulong data type values into string then use BYTE.PARSE() to convert the string into byte value
That's how i do it
If let's any experts here confirmed that the coding above worked and all the values are correct then try to check is there any potential error here

What I am trying to do in the generate button was to create the suitable parameters for RSA.
The parameters I was actually able to generate them but in either ULong or Long data type.
When i first convert them into array of Bytes I have considered to use BitConverter but it doesn't work at least in my case.
The only way i am only able to make them into array of Bytes was by making the ULong or Long data type variable into string.
Then convert those string into Byte then put them into ByteArray
I hope it was correct but it is out of my reach for now.
Any ideas on how can i make the parameter data to be accepted as rsa parameter?

Where is my error in this visual basic Bubblesort

I am currently making a highscore table - reading the times from a .csv file and sorting them from lowest to highest. The list only becomes partially sorted after the code runs.
All the data inputs correctly but when it goes to sort it sorts the data out incorrectly.

player(j + 1) = temp
End If

Next
Dim k As Integer
For k = 1 To x
player(k).position = k
Next
End Sub
Here's the output

Adapting the classic bubble-sort to your case, I think i should be something like the code below:
For i = 0 To x - 1
For j = i + 1 To x
If player(i).playerTime > player(j).playerTime Then
temp = player(i)
player(i) = player(j)
player(j) = temp
End If
Next
Next

array without any duplicate value

the code to generate no. of arrays from one is working..I'm try to make some change to it like below
Function myarray(ByVal arra1() As Integer, ByVal arran() As Integer, ByVal arrNumber As Integer) As Integer()
arran = arra1.Clone()
For i As Integer = 0 To arra1.Length - 1
If i = (arrNumber - 1) Then ' IF arrNumber is 1 then +1 to index 0, If it is 2 then +1 to index 1
arran(i) = arra1(i) + 1
'If there are two duplicate value make on of them zero at a time
For k = 0 To arran.Length - 1
For j = k + 1 To arran.Length - 1
If arran(k) = arran(j) Then
arran(k) = 0
End If
'make any value great than 11 zero
If arran(i) > 11 Then
arran(i) = 0
End If
Next
Next
Else
arran(i) = arra1(i)
End If
Next
'Print the array
For i = 0 To arran.Length - 1
Console.Write(arran(i) & " ")
Next
Console.WriteLine()
Return arran
End Function
what I really need is to decompose for example {1,4,5,5} to be {1,4,0,5} and then {1,4,5,0} the above code generate only {1,4,0,5}
I haven't tested this, but I believe the following code will do what you want. Based on your comments, I've changed the function to return all resulting arrays as an array of arrays, rather than requiring the index to change as an input and returning one array. I also ignored matches of 0, as the conditions you describe don't seem designed to handle them. Because of it's recursion, I think this approach will successfully handle input such as {3, 3, 3, 3}.
Public Function jaggedArray(ByVal inputArray() As Integer) As Integer()()

How to shorten this VBA code?

How can I shorten this code? I want to make this code with If shorter in loop. I tried do something like this Me.Controls("x" & t) = 0 , but it's returning a syntax error. I don't know what I can do. Please help.
x = CStr(Int(Rnd() * 16))
Dim x1 As Byte = 0
...
Dim x30 As Byte = 0
For t = 0 To 15
If x = t And x1 = 0 Then
...
End If
If x = t And x2 = 0 Then
...
End If
...
If x = t And x30 = 0 Then
...
End If
Array are the best solution. First decide whether its one or two dimensional and then you can use it. I beleive yours is a two dimensional array.
You can set X1 to X30 in array and fetch the values. A mock code for both one and two dimensional array is here
1-D Array:
Dim Films(1 To 5) As String
Films(1) = "Lord of the Rings"
Films(2) = "Speed"
Films(3) = "Star Wars"
Films(4) = "The Godfather"
Films(5) = "Pulp Fiction"
MsgBox Films(4)
2-D Array
Dim Films(1 To 5, 1 To 2) As String
Dim i As Integer, j As Integer
For i = 1 To 5
For j = 1 To 2
Films(i, j) = Cells(i, j).Value
Next j
Next i
MsgBox Films(4, 2)
Please mark it as answer if this help(can help someone too).
