Web page Font verification - selenium

Recently our web application font has been changed and it is having around 50 pages.
Is it possible verify the Font Property of a web page using Selenium or any automation tools
Thanks

I would use selenium to visit each page in the app, then take a screenshot and save to a location. Then you could quickly manually assert that the font had changed
I know it is not a fully automated solution but is still easier than manually trawling through

VB webbrowser control will not load HTTPS pages

I put together a simple little program for my own personal use in VB2010 that uses an embedded webbrowser control, that allows me to click through pre-selected websites one at a time. It's something I have been using for years with no problem.
Apparently one of the websites which contains a number of pages that I view daily has switched to HTTPS format, and the webbrowser control just says The website cannot display the page. None of the other pages are secure, so I am assuming that this is what's causing the problem. The pages will come up fine on a regular web browser, like IE or Firefox; just not in my embedded web browser.
A Google search for this problem has turned up nothing.
The emulation mode is set to IE11 edge mode through the registry key, but I have also tried setting it for standard IE11, with no change.
What needs to be done to allow secure pages for this simple application?
Thanks!

InternetExplorerDriver not opening site, but user can open it

I'm working in a highly secured environment. I can only use IE11 by company's policy. I'm trying to implement test automation on my project.
I'm using Selenium and IEDriver.
Currently I'm trying to implement basic scenario by just opening application page.
When I'm trying to do it via IEDriver, the page is not getting opened and the message "This page cannot be displayed" is shown.
But when I open the page manually by just typing in the url to the address bar everything works fine.
I guess it has something to do with the cookies that are coming with the request I'm making manually. Seems like those cookies contain some signature.
Can someone advise me how can I track the problem to resolve it?
Thanks.
Be sure top follow the required configuration section on this site: https://github.com/SeleniumHQ/selenium/wiki/InternetExplorerDriver
I had some issues with IE acting the same way until following this setup.
So the issue was fixed by setting proxy.
Seems like there was a change in security rules recently.

JavaFX WebVIew - PDF on popup window

I have posted some other smaller questions regarding the problem I describe below and got some feedback but now I will try to explain it in more depth hoping to get through the problem.
I built a desktop application using JavaFX 2.2 which uses a WebEngine to access a website built using Oracle ADF Pages. The application tracks the users actions on the pages and stores data to a database. All fine so far until the point where I need show a PDF file on a user click.
On the actual website the user clicks a button and a new popup window opens up that displays the PDF.
My problem is that due to the lack of PDF support in JavaFX I cannot display the pdf. The actual link to the PDF is dynamic and it doesn't have a .pdf at the end of it so I can't use the actual URL to send it to an external bowser or something to display it. Additionally the connection is secure so I can't open the URL with Chrome for example.
Possible solutions I thought about are to read the binary data of the response from WebView and create the PDF file locally and then open it using Adobe of Chrome or something. Is that possible at all?
Another solution I thought about (while I am writing this question) is maybe to open the URL which the users default browser but how can I go about sending the secure connection cookie from the application to the browser.
Is any of the above even possible? Am I missing something?
Any help, clues, links, ideas would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
I think the best way to do what you want is to download the PDF and display it locally.
Downloading using WebView sounds like it could work but I'm not familiar with the user experience. As an alternative try using curl or wget. You can pass in the authorization cookie to those tools and use them to download the file

Testing Facebook app on VB.NET WebBrowser - IFrame Access Deined - Cross-Domain Scripting

I have a facebook iframe app I'm trying to test using a WebBrowser Control on a form in VB.NET 2010. Whenever I try to access the WebBrowser.Document.Window.Frames frame object on a document where my app is showing in the broswer, I get an Access Denined exception. Reading around on the web, I see people saying that this is to keep scripts in a document from accessing content in iframes that are pulling content from another domain, as per 'http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms533028.aspx', for security reasons.
While I totally understand why this is done for the general public, how can I disable it on my machine so that I can run these tests? I can't properly test my app without doing it in the facebook iframe and using the WebBrowser control is the only way I know to do this test programmatically.
Any ideas? I'm on windows server 2003 and ie8, .net4.0, if that helps. I own the domain where the app is, and its in AS.NET MVC2, so if there's anything I can do to the web code to enable this??? I also removed the Internet Explorer ENhanced Security COnfiguaration component, but that didn't help.
Thanks,
Philip
Have you tried changing your Internet Explorer settings to enable cross domain scripting?
I believe the VB.Net Web Browser control inherits settings from the local copy of IE.
Try this:
From Internet Explorer, choose Internet Options from the Tools menu.
On the Security tab of the Internet Options dialog box, select the Local Intranet Web Content Zone and then click Custom Level.
Locate the Miscellaneous/Access Data Sources Across Domains setting, and then select Enable, as shown in Figure 2.
Click OK, and then click Yes to the warning dialog box that appears.
Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box.
Also try adding the Facebook https Url into your trusted sites.
As a last resort disable Native XMLHttp in IE and attempt to revert back to an older version of the XMLHttp object.
