LeadBolt Interstitial ad - I can not remove black background - leadbolt

I use interstitial leadbolt ad in my app. Problem that it looks ugly.
there is screenshot
alt text
advert_activity_layout.xml
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<FrameLayout
xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:layout_width="fill_parent"
android:layout_height="fill_parent"
android:background="#drawable/bg_result_activity"
>
</FrameLayout>
AdvertActivity.java
import android.os.Bundle;
import com.Leadbolt.AdController;
import com.alpha_aps.very_hard_game.util.MyActivity;
public class AdvertActivity extends MyActivity {
#Override
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.advert_activity_layout);
AdController myController = new AdController(this, Config.leadBoltInterstitialId);
myController.loadAd();
}
}
I tried use some different layout such as RelativeLayout, FrameLayout, LinearLayout - no result.
Also I tried play with leadbolt ad settings - use different kind of interstitials - no result also.
So questions are:
Why interstitial looks with black background?
How can I remove this background?
Thanks to all.

When you create a new ad make sure to check to appearance tab at the top. There is a section here for background color. For a transparent background make sure that this field is empty.
Once an ad has been created I think that the appearance can not be changed so you may need to create a new one.
Alternatively you could set the Overlap Opacity to 100% so that the whole screen around the ad is also black. The field is also located on the appearance tab of your ad creation screen.

I updated to the last Leadbolt SDK
and black background disappear, I do not why.

Get native iOS system tab bar icons for TabbedPage on Xamarin.Forms

I am new to Xamarin.Forms and XAML. I am trying to get tab icons to display for ONLY IOS for the my different pages in my TabbedPage. I did a bit of search and I have come to know that UIKit has a reference to system icons available on IOS at UITabBarSystem. How can I make use of the elements in that enum without having to get those icons from the internet? The TabbedPage is the root with children pages that are ContentPages and ListView pages. So as you will see from the attached sample, I would like the "IconImageSource" property for FavouritesPage to get the image from the iOS UIKit. Is that possible?
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<TabbedPage xmlns="http://xamarin.com/schemas/2014/forms"
xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2009/xaml"
xmlns:views="clr-namespace:PhoneApp.Views"
x:Class="PhoneApp.Views.MainPage">
<TabbedPage.Title>
</TabbedPage.Title>
<TabbedPage.Children>
<views:FavouritesPage Title="Favourites" IconImageSource=""/>
<views:RecentsPage Title="Recents"/>
<views:ContactsPage Title="Contacts"/>
<views:KeypadPage Title="Keypad"/>
<views:VoicemailPage Title="Voicemail"/>
</TabbedPage.Children>
</TabbedPage>
I think I found the right solution for you. If you want to use native Api's on Xamarin controls, you can use custom renderer for them which are great! Here is the renderer for the TabedPage:
[assembly: ExportRenderer(typeof(MainPage), typeof(MyTabbedPageRenderer))]
namespace TestApp.iOS
{
public class MyTabbedPageRenderer : TabbedRenderer
{
public override void ViewWillAppear(bool animated)
{
base.ViewWillAppear(animated);
if (TabBar?.Items == null) return;
//Setting the Icons
TabBar.Items[0].Image = GetTabIcon(UITabBarSystemItem.Search);
TabBar.Items[1].Image = GetTabIcon(UITabBarSystemItem.Downloads);
TabBar.Items[2].Image = GetTabIcon(UITabBarSystemItem.Bookmarks);
}
private UIImage GetTabIcon(UITabBarSystemItem systemItem)
{
//Convert UITabBarItem to UIImage
UITabBarItem item = new UITabBarItem(systemItem, 0);
return UIImage.FromImage(item.SelectedImage.CGImage, item.SelectedImage.CurrentScale, item.SelectedImage.Orientation);
}
}
}
I created a sample for you, which you can find here. If you have any questions, please ask!

Checkable Tool Button Icon Color Changes

I want to have effect like VLC Play Pause Button. Based on other posts, I have
Have created resource file with play pause icons(transparent background).
Have created checkable toolbutton through qt designer.
Have assigned icon for normal off/on through qt designer.
However, when I run the application and click button(IsCkecked is true), the icon turns slightly grey. I do not want background color to change. I am not sure, what is causing this behaviour as well.
Does anyone know reason behind this?
Thanks in advance.
Set stylesheet to the play button.
Like this...
QPushButton
{
background-color:#fffff;
}
QPushButton:pressed
{
background-color:#fffff;
}
Set stylesheet to the play button.
Like this.....
QPushButton
{
background-color:#fffff;(this color can be changed as you want)
}
QPushButton:pressed
{
background-color:#fffff;( same as above )
}

UWP Light dismiss ContentDialog

Is there a way to make the ContentDialog light dismiss?, so when the user clicks on any thing outside the ContentDialog it should be closed.
Thanks.
By default, ContentDialog is placed in PopupRoot. Behind it, there is a Rectangle which dim and prevent interaction with other elements in the app. You can find it with help of VisualTreeHelper and register a Tapped event to it, so when it's tapped you can hide ContentDialog.
You can do this after calling ShowAsync outside ContentDialog code or you can do it inside ContentDialog code. Personally, I implement a class which derives from ContentElement and I override OnApplyTemplate like this:
protected override void OnApplyTemplate()
{
// this is here by default
base.OnApplyTemplate();
// get all open popups
// normally there are 2 popups, one for your ContentDialog and one for Rectangle
var popups = VisualTreeHelper.GetOpenPopups(Window.Current);
foreach (var popup in popups)
{
if (popup.Child is Rectangle)
{
// I store a refrence to Rectangle to be able to unregester event handler later
_lockRectangle = popup.Child as Rectangle;
_lockRectangle.Tapped += OnLockRectangleTapped;
}
}
}
and in OnLockRectangleTapped:
private void OnLockRectangleTapped(object sender, TappedRoutedEventArgs e)
{
this.Hide();
_lockRectangle.Tapped -= OnLockRectangleTapped;
}
Unfortunately ContentDialog does not offer such behavior.
There are two alternatives you can consider:
Popup - a special control built for this purpose, which displays dialog-like UI on top of the app content. This control actually offers a IsLightDismissEnabled for the behavior you need. Since the Anniversary Update (SDK version 1607) also has a LightDismissOverlayMode, which can be set to "On" to automatically darken the UI around the Popup when displayed. More details are on MSDN.
Custom UI - you can create a new layer on top of your existing UI in XAML, have this layer cover the entire screen and watch for the Tapped event to dismiss it when displayed. This is more cumbersome, but you have a little more control over how it is displayed

Change JavaFX TabPane background

I'm developing an application in javaFx and I'm using TabPane to organise content. My problem is that when I put a node as the content of a tab, and then set the background of that same node, the background color gets kind of blurry, as you can see in the image, the background color was defined in a css file.
If anyone knows how to resolve this, would really appreciate the help.

I think you are a victim of this issue:
JavaFX Image (PNG) transparency crispness being lost when rendering
It will likely be fixed in a forthcoming (i.e. Java 8) release.
For now, you may be able to use the work-around documented in the linked question's answer.
To do this, place your image in a CenteredRegion and use that as the first element of a StackPane placed in your tab. Then layer the rest of the tab content over the image by adding the content to the StackPane. It's a bit awkward and there may be a more straight-forward solution for your particular case.
class CenteredRegion extends Region {
private Node content;
CenteredRegion(Node content) {
this.content = content;
getChildren().add(content);
}
#Override protected void layoutChildren() {
content.relocate(
Math.round(getWidth() / 2 - content.prefWidth(USE_PREF_SIZE) / 2),
Math.round(getHeight() / 2 - content.prefHeight(USE_PREF_SIZE) / 2)
);
}
public Node getContent() {
return content;
}
}

animation for zoom in and zoom out in android for imageview

How do i set zoom in and zoom out when click on imageview?I want my program to react when user click on imageview must get large to some extent and can move imageview on that screen and sometime it reduce the size along when it move on touch anywhere on the screen .when click again is go resume original size what do i do?
As far as I know there are two ways.
The first way:
Make a new folder in res called 'anim'. Than make a xml file inside, for example zoomin.xml. Afterwards put the following code inside.
<scale xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:fromXScale="1"
android:toXScale="5"
android:fromYScale="1"
android:toYScale="5"
android:pivotX="50%"
android:pivotY="50%"
android:duration="1000"
android:fillAfter="true">
</scale>
Make another one for zoom out, but with reversed values.
<scale xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:fromXScale="5"
android:toXScale="1"
android:fromYScale="5"
android:toYScale="1"
android:pivotX="50%"
android:pivotY="50%"
android:duration="1000"
android:fillAfter="true">
</scale>
You can change the values according to your needs. I think that they are self-explanatory.
And now in your java code.
ImageView imageView = (imageView)findViewById(R.id.yourImageViewId);
Animation zoomin = AnimationUtils.loadAnimation(this, R.anim.zoomin);
Animation zoomout = AnimationUtils.loadAnimation(this, R.anim.zoomout);
imageView.setAnimation(zoomin);
imageView.setAnimation(zoomout);
Now you only need to keep track which is the current state. And for each state execute this lines of codes:
imageView.startAnimation(zoomin);
and
imageView.startAnimation(zoomout);
For example:
imageView.setOnClickListener(new OnClickListener(){
public void onClick(View v) {
if(!pressed) {
v.startAnimation(zoomin);
pressed = !pressed;
} else {
v.startAnimation(zoomout);
pressed = !pressed;
}
}
});
The other way is described here : http://developer.android.com/training/animation/zoom.html.
You can make this by following this guide easily
http://developer.android.com/training/animation/zoom.html
shortly you should use third imageview which is invisible when the user touches any imageview you want, you can display it by using animation in the imageview which is invisible.
