New to coding, need help calling methods in Rally - rally

Simple question, I need to make a chart with Rally's new API. How exactly would I call the methods on this page. Specifically StartDate, EndDate, CardEsitmateTotal, and CardState.

If you are new to developing applications in ext and rally, I would suggest you take a step back and check out the guides and examples: Rally SDK Examples.
I would also highly recommend this YouTube video series, which will walk you through creating an application, querying for data, using the Web Services API, creating grids and charts, etc.
These are both resources that helped me out a lot when learning how to extend the rally platform and develop custom applications.

How to post data to Google Sheets from a React Native Android application without a third party service

I'm a react native newbie, and I am currently working on a research project in creating a mobile application for data collection. I have searched far and wide for project samples and tutorials in achieving this, but I am really having a hard time finding one that works without a third-party service :( I just need a way where I can solely use Google Apps Script and the Google Sheets API for my RN project. If anyone here could help me, or better yet have a simple sample project where I can see how to implement the GoogleSheets API in a RN project and how to perform different CRUD methods, I will greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

Custom Google Ads UI Using API

I want to build a simple UI that surfaces a subset of the functionality of Google Ads UI by using the Google Ads API. Is there an example that shows how this can be done?
I believe there is no such thing, however there is a lot of examples on HOW to use the Google Ads API, and as a developer it's up to you how you want to turn that into a UI.
After all, WHAT you use the API for is entirely up to you, i.e. it is your design. Making the UI is a separate task from accessing the API, so a tutorial on how to design a UI is separate from how to access the API.
You can read about the Google Ads API here, and it's littered with examples. Warning, it has a pretty high technical level and just getting OAuth setup can prove to be a major hassle. Good Luck.

Web app idea directions

I have an idea for a web app project, however, due to not having any programming knowledge, I'm first asking here for directions. Essentially, I wonder if the idea is realistic and what the most effective way could be for me to tackle it.
I want to combine several open-data sources, some in the form of API's (e.g. Google maps), others in the form of statistics in Excel sheets. Like a Mashup of different sources? The idea is to use the data to perform some data crunching and in effect provide some insights from this data in an aggregated way. I have previously played around with dashboards during an internship and I am attracted by the idea to maybe produce a Single page application for my idea with some visualisation. Any thoughts on this?
I have looked at the following services online, but I have no idea if they can help me produce a web app which aggregates different data sources and that allows for nice presentation:
Zoho Creator,
QlikSense,
Sproutcore,
Caspio
Any thoughts on this are highly appreciated!
Best regards
If you’re not a developer and would like to get started immediately, then you could get started by signing up with Zoho Creator. Its intuitive yet easy to use builder lets you setup web app in minutes.
Regarding your query for aggregation from different data sources, Zoho Creator provides REST API that allows you to access external data sources to interface with your web applications.
Zoho Creator allows you to setup the perfect web-app on a secure cloud with admin level access to handle the necessary permissions and manage data.
You can customize the Reports in your Zoho Creator application using Report Settings to suit your needs. Web-App can be created by converting a CSV/Excel into a full-featured Web DB / app in seconds.
You can check out our help videos or register for our upcoming webinar to know more about Zoho Creator.
Happy Building!!

Is there a "Meta-API" for Zapier?

While Zapier is very powerful at putting glue between various APIs, I stumbled upon the use case of creating Zaps programmatically, which would offer even more flexibility.
I did some investigation and it appears that Zapier, to this date, does not provide a public API for doing so. Is there any workaround for that ?
Not currently. Creating a zap involves a lot of UI steps (6 or 7) - many of which depend on choices made in each previous step, so trying to do all that through a remote script might be difficult and messy. Maybe share some ideas on your specific use-case: why do you need to create a zap programmatically?
Keep in mind you can also create private apps on Zapier so if there is specific functionality you need to use with Zapier you can do that without exposing it to the world.
The year 2017 Zapier introduced their Command Line Interface, which makes possible building your app programatically via JavaScript.
You can take a look at the Example Apps as well as the CLI-docs.

Live Data Visualisation

I want to know if there is a simpler and quicker way to visualize dynamic data. The setup that I require is:
An admin web-interface with forms to feed data.
A public web-page with a table and few charts to display data dynamically.
Live and dynamic display of data.
I know python and I am currently learning django framework.
Solutions which don't require programming skills are also welcome.
Any CMS;
Take a look at google's visualization api.
Visualizing the data client-side requires the use of something along the lines of Raphaël or jqplot, which you can customize to your specific scenario. You can, however, opt to display charts using images and generate them on the server, then switch the images periodically in Javascript.
The other technical hurdle is the way you get data on the client. Typically, you can implement polling via AJAX (easier) or some push mechanism (Comet, for example, though harder and requires server-side specifics). When you get the data on the client, you simply change out the data on the chart or remove and recreate it. When using images, it is as simple as changing the src property on the images, but requires generating the images on the server.
Highcharts provides some really good examples.
Realtime Plot Highcharts
Mostly AJAX shall suffice, but in case you wish to have a tightly coupled system, using Django-chartit might also be an option
When I setout to something very similar, I found these very useful,
Admin theme : Look at these themes and relatively very inexpensive. Big time savers.
These themes already has some built-in graphs/charts. If you want something more complex, D3 JS impressed me. Also look at kendoUI and sencha UI charts.
You can ofcourse build your portal on django but I'm developing on ruby on rails. Good luck!
If you need live data visualization, the best solution is Google Public Data Explorer http://goo.gl/CWbxO . But first of all ,you should learn about DSPL https://developers.google.com/public-data/overview ,the Dataset Publishing Language describes how your data is organized and how you want to show your data(e.g,bar chart ,line chart ,bubble char or else)
you can upload your data via http://www.google.com/publicdata/admin to upload your dataset
after you successfully upload your data, open it in your Public data adamin, explore the data, and you can get a link on the right ,you can embed the chart in your own website too
the chart is ilve, you can find some examples first, mostly, the x axis is by year, and you can describe it yourself
Here is a example of Google Public Data Explorer. http://goo.gl/yZ5Cj
