Infopath 2010 Form has to override previous form - sharepoint-2010

I am very new to sharepoint . Got to do a job. There are 2 infopath form Form A and Form B. when the user x logs into system and make change to form B , It overrides form A of the same user. Now my understanding of digging into sharepoint taught me it will be done by workflow. Can anyone tell me how it can be done? Am I right?

SharePoint 2010 In-Browser Form User Info Changing after Submit

I have a In-Browser Form I published to SharePoint 2010 via Infopath and have a section in the beginning which pulls the current user data to get their Name, Email, Number, etc. The issue is once a user submits the form and I take a look with the In-Browser feature in SharePoint, the information changes to my info instead of the submitter. However, when I open in the form via Infopath application, it shows the originial submitters info. Is there a way or an option I'm not aware of which will fix this issue?
Found the answer. On the text boxes that pulls the user info, go to the Text Box Properties and under Default Value, deselect the checkbox "Refresh value when formula is recalculated".

VB.NET not having form text show up as application

When a new form (winforms) is created and shown, the caption on every active form shows up as a separate application in Task Manager. Is there a way to give my application a name independent of caption on forms? And if I have more than one form active at a time, to not have both show up in Task Manager?
I am sure this has been asked hundreds of times, but I can't seem to Google up an answer.
EDIT:
Here is a screenshot of a very simple demonstration. In task manager, it is showing both form1 and form2.
You want to use an MDIPARENT to house your forms when running. If you do not want an MDI, you will have to manually maintain which forms are visible and what thier captions are.

InfoPath 2010, SharePoint 2010

I have created an InfoPath 2010 form which is published to doc library in SharePoint 2010. I want for this form to become read-only ie once it has been submitted.
None of what I have done so far seems to work. I have:
Created a new view and re-named it to Read-Only and in its properties I have ticked
the "Read-Only" check box in InfoPath.
I have a "Submit Form" button and in here I have added rules for submitting the form,
switching the view to the read-only view.
To test this I fill out the form with sample data and submit it, then when I go to
the doc library where the forms gets submitted to when I open the submitted form I
find that the Read-Only view has not taken effect and that it is still possible to
edit the form.
Ideally what I am trying to achieve is to have the submitted forms turned into read-only when they are submitted and still be in read-only mode when these are opened from the document library where they get submitted to.
Any ideas where I'm going wrong with this? if there is a better and simpler way to achieve this please let me know.
Thanks in advance.
It might be too late to answer this question, but if someone is still looking for an answer you could try the below steps
Before you begin please verify that you have one of the following permissions:
a. You are a member of the Administrators group for the site collection.
b. You are a member of the Owners group for the site.
c. You have the Manage Permissions permission.
On the Site Settings page, Go to the Users and Permissions and look for settings
Under Settings you will be able to see Permission Levels
Select Add a Permission Level
Give a Name to you new Permission Level
Under the Select the Permissions to include to this permission level, select the Add Items and View Items Permissions to this group.
After the group is created, for your form library, stop inheriting the permissions from the parent site and create a new group with the new Permission Level that you just created. Add all the users to the group.
This should enable the users to submit a form but not edit it. Hope this helps.
There is an easier way to solve this. Create two views of this form on InfoPath Designer. And make sure when the form is submitted, the view is flipped to the Read-Only view; which has the salient feartures of the form such as the answers you would like to be recorded.
So anyone who opens the form once submitted wil only see the Read-Only view. You can set a rule on the form to have an administrator see a Edit mode.
I just went through this. the submit rule doesn't work, you have to create a form load rule. In the file toolbar, you'll see a form load button in the rules block.

How to reconnect InfoPath task form to SPD workflow after moving it to the new Site Collection

I have Globally reusable workflow (created in SPD) in my test site collection. This WF uses custom InfoPath task form. Now I am trying to move it to the new production site collection. I've done next steps.
Copy my globally reusable WF (in SPD) to make it reusable (I can't save GLOBALLY reusable WF as a template).
Save new reusable WF (not globally reusable) as WF template and deployed it to the production environment.
And now my WF is working well, but I've missed my custom InfoPath task forms and I don't know how to connect it to my WF.
Is there any way to reuse InfoPath task forms from my workflow after moving from test environment to production? May be I have to use another approach?
Every suggestions are very appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.
PS: I don't understand completely what is happenning behind the scenes, when I am creating custom InfoPath task forms in SPD. I googled about it, but couldn't find any good article to clarify. If you know any articles or books which could help me in my understanding of relationship between InfoPath and SharePoint 2010, it would be great if you recommend it.
PPS: SharePoint 2010.
UPDATE 1: It seems like InfoPath forms are missed in step 1 (I can't see forms in wsp file). If I create new reusable WF (not globally) with InfoPath forms, I can see them in the wsp file and WF deploys correctly with forms.
It seems like the way which Microsoft recommends for converting Globaly reusable WF to reusable WF doesn't work well and miss InfoPath task forms.
Also I found an unanswered question about the same problem on MSDN forum.
Thanks to Gennady Vanin, who helped me to find a solution.
To reconnect InfoPath form we can use the next approach:
1. Export source files of the form.
Open form in InfoPath designer. And because we can't republish it to the different place using wizard (its type is a Workflow form), we should Export source files (from the menu File\Publish) to some folder.
After this step we received a set of files, one of which is "manifest.xsf".
2. Close InfoPath designer.
3. Correct URLs in manifest.xsf
Open "manifest.xsf" in a text editor. Find all URL related to the first site collection and replace it with new URLs linked to new site collection. Save the file.
Hint: If you don't know the URL to publish in new site collection, you can open autogenerated form from it in the same manner (look at URLs in its manifest.xsf).
4. Publish changed form.
Open InfoPath designer, open corrected manifest.xsf in it and publish it (by pressing the publish button for example).
5. Hurray! The form is deployed to the new place!
You should repeat this steps for all custom InfoPath task forms in your workflow.
If somebody needs more detailed description, I could add screenshots.

On publishing infopath 2010 form loses control properties - dropdown control data binding setting

I am try to created a cascade dropdown using infopath 2010 in sharepoint 2010 list. On publishing infopath form i lost data binding setting and it just resets to default "Enter choices manually". It works perfectly only if i dont publish it (preview mode). I even recreated infopath form many times but of no use. It works perfectly on some other site but not on where i want to.
[note: Dropdown are lookup columns]
Check your form settings at dropdown box properties > Browser forms > Post back settings, make sure its set to Always.
