I'm looking for a simple way to tell if an app is using the Okuma API. There are several applications running on a control and I don't see any indication. I've tried renaming the Okuma API dll's and I can make some of them crash by not being able to find them but that can't be the best way.
I'm writing my own app too, I want to follow the standard. Is there any built in splash screen or standard way to show an app is using the API? (Something like Intel-Inside but Okuma THINC Inside, etc) I've tried searching for the Okuma logos and I see several different versions being used but none that signify anything about API and none that really look standard for indicating API usage.

At this time there is no official logo for the purpose your describing.

We've used the JIRA Issue Collection plugin to handle our websites user feedback form in the past, but would like to give users more capabilities like screenshots and annotations. Usersnap looks interesting, but I can't find much information on it beyond what is on their site.
Has anyone else used it or a similar library or service?
Thanks
Usersnap offers a JIRA integration (Installation Docs), so it should be a drop in replacement for the JIRA Issue Collection plugin.
Moreover, your users don't need to install anything, it's fully browser based.
Having a screenshot from your customer is often a live saver - imagine "The button is too small" bug reports without knowing which exact button.

Working on building out a Web2Print product I need some kind of editor that will allow a user to manipulate graphics and ultimately generate a PDF. There are plenty of HTML 2 PDF APIs available but I was hoping someone might have experience with something a little more integrated and suited for dealing with graphics/fonts/text?
In PHP the best opensource option is TCPDF http://www.tcpdf.org/
I wanted to answer this and update everyone on the solutions that I found. Through the Magento extension store I was able to find several commercial (although still very reasonably priced) solutions:
http://www.zetaprints.com/ and http://layoutbuddy.com/ look like the most full featured and supported (as well as no up-front licensing.)
Thanks for all of the responses!

I just wanted to know if there is a developer roadmap for foursquare. We're developing an application using foursquare api and we dont want to break its functionality when there's changes within foursquare api.
To ensure that future Foursquare API changes won't break your application, be sure to supply a version parameter with all your API requests. This parameter is a date you give that basically says "use the version of the API that was running on this date." Now if the API does indeed change, your application will get results from the previous version of the API, and you have adequate time to transition to the newer version.
In general, you can stay most up-to-date by following the Foursquare Engineering Blog and #foursquareAPI. There's also a changelog on the developer site.

I'm looking for a free web-based TTS engine, that I may use in a commercial project. I'm not saying there's one, but I hope somebody might know if there was.
Thanks!
The only freely available web-based TTS engine that I am aware of is Google TTS. There is a blog post on how to use it. The problem with using it commercially is that it is not an official Google API (most solutions to use it have been hacked) and therefore subject to change without notice. For a commercial application I would pay for a good TTS engine. Another option is to get a freely available TTS engine and create your own SaaS.

I'm working on a new website and I'd like to add a videochat feature. So I'm looking for services giving an API to do that easily.
Here is the list of features I need:
1-to-1 chat (a user can chat with an other one)
video
voice
chat
be able to know if somebody is currently chatting
user-friendly
working on all standard configurations (for example ooVoo doesn't work on safari 64bit)
Thank you!
Not sure if you're still looking for an answer, but http://www.tokbox.com/ looks pretty awesome for this
