ScrewTurn Wiki send an email to all users when a new page is added or an existing modified - notifications

I'm searching how to configure screwturnwiki to send an email message to all users when a new page is added or an existing page is modified.
Could someone help me to find a solution?
Thank you for your help.
Best regards
Fab

I'm pretty sure you can't do exactly what you are asking out of the box. However, here is what you can do:
You can flag individual pages to receive email updates when changes are made or subscribe to an RSS update feed on a page by page basis (top right corner icons).
You can subscribe to a global/namespace RSS update feed for new/updated pages using the RSS icons on the top left corner.
You could write a custom plug-in to provide the functionality you are looking for. Here is a link to available plug-ins but I don't see one that fits your need: Screwturn Customizing

Make The Different Register Page Url Stable and Get Rid of Double Click Logout On Woocommerce

I am using one of the woodmart built-in themes and have 2 issues (I think they are so easy to do but couldn’t find any solution on internet which works well) one is about register page link on the sidebar login are and the logout confirmation.
When you go to our website which is http://www.fitovision.com and click on Login/Register button on the right top of the page a sidebar widget comes out. I have changed the Create An Account link to my custom page but because I did this on the integration page of woocommerce to the theme, when I get any update it goes back. So looking for a hook or function codes to add to the child theme functions page to keep it there forever even if I get any update. Could you please tell me how to do that? I have asked this to the theme editors support page but they said it belongs to woocommerce so asked me to open a ticket here.
Second one is when you login to the page we have an dropdown menu on the top on the place of Login/Register link. And there is Log Out link on the at dropdown menu. When I click it it goes to My Account page and when I click there again it logs out. I have read and applied too many ways to bypass the logout confirmation on first click but none of them worked as I realised that they were all old dated posts. So I thought after some time and your updates it should be forced by the wocoommerce to do it. But my clients definitely do not want it. Is there again anything else I can do for that to log out on the first click? And keep it there with adding to the child theme functions page?
Thank you for replies instead.

Google +1 button on Google sites

I have a google site and I want to add several «+1»-buttons on one page.
As I understood, all different buttons must be related to different URL's, so I created one more page with a «+1»-button, which can be simply added.
Now I want to have the same button on the main page, how can I achieve this?
I've already browsed many things about it, f.ex., https://developers.google.com/+/web/+1button/
but I can't add Javascript on Google sites!
That's ridiculous, it has information about how to add it for other sites, but not for their own.
I re-read the documentation here:
https://developers.google.com/+/web/+1button/#plusonetag-parameters
The ability to control each button individually is available in platform preview only.
Sorry.

Alfresco Share site's dashlet for document library

I was wondering whether exists any dashlet which allows you to explore a site's document library. As far as I know doesn't exist such dashlet out of the box, there only exists the "Site Content" dashlet but it is slightly limited.
I have been searching around and "googling" and I found these useful resources that could be useful as a starting point if I had to create my own:
http://ecmarchitect.com/archives/2012/05/08/1592
http://code.google.com/p/fme-alfresco-extensions/wiki/GalleryPlusDashlet2
Do somebody know more dashlets/resources targeting this issue? Any suggestion?
As a temporary solution, I'm also thinking in the possibility of taking advantage of the "Web View" dashlet, by configuring in it such URL that retrieves the documentlist region/component in the documentlibrary page. For example:, share/page/components/documentlibrary/documentlist or share/page/site/{site}/documentlibrary?region=documentlist. Maybe it is crazy or what I'm saying doesn't make any sense, but it is just an idea.
Another idea that have just came to my mind is the option of creating a custom Surf/Share page which includes the component/webscript that implements the explorer of the document library, specifically the documentlist component. Then configure the "Web View" dashlet giving the URL that points to the custom page created. Would it make sense?
Thanks in advance.
You are going to see a couple of site visualization and navigation dashlets on Alfresco Visualization Tools available on https://github.com/bhagyas/alfresco-visualization-tools. The project is still at it's initial phase, but you will find interesting snippets of code used to retrieve the document library content trees within the dashlets.
The project was presented by me at Alfresco DevCon in Berlin just a week ago to bring interactive navigation and content analytics. If interested, you can find the slides at the lightening talk slides in the DevCon 2012 site at Alfresco.
Cheers! =)
Hi I've done exactly the same, it was not really needed for a Dashlet but for to embed the documentlibrary of a site in an iframe for another site.
So what I did was indeed create a new page template embedded-documentlibrary.
I've copied first the following files and renamed them:
site-data/pages/documentlibrary.xml
site-data/template-instances/documentlibrary.xml
site-webscripts/org/alfresco/documentlibrary.ftl
If you rename file 3 or put it in another folder, you need to check the paths in file 1 & 2.
So to make only the documentlibrary appear instead of everyting I just removed everything in file 3 within the <div id="alf-hd"> tag.
If you remove the tag, the document-tree will also be removed and it gave some javascript errors. This should be fixed in the latest version, but haven't tied that.
So it's extremely easy to create your own page and instead of navigating to site/documentlibrary you just navigate to site/embedded-documentlibrary or your own name you've chosen.
And yes then you'll need to use the web-view Dashlet to show it.
The only thing you need to know is, that the links open within the iframe. So if you use the web-view Dashlet, you need to open the links in a new window.
For my situation I needed an iframe, in your case you could also just let the freemarker from your Dashlet render the components needed.
There is a document-liberary-display dashlet available in the alfresco add-on list which can be used to show all the documents from document-library on site-dashlet.

How to build persistent element like facebook chatbar which not reload when navigate to any page?

i developed a radio stations widget (see it at my site). the problem is, i dont know how to make it persistent same like on the http://josephbeeson.com/gwapdemo/gwap.html . it's like facebook chatbar which not reload when navigate to any page. i have try n look for the demo codes but still not understand. please give step by step tutorial. i want to implement it on my social website http://www.heypy.com.
The whole page does not get reloaded, the new content is just loaded via AJAX and displayed within the current document.
To make it look to the user like he’s navigated to some other URL, the address bar content is updated using the HTML5 History API.
please give step by step tutorial.
Happy to give you the relevant keywords, so you can do research on them yourself. But won’t provide a private tutorial here, that’s not the purpose of this site. Thanks for your understanding.

The ted.com twitter widget?

On all the videos on ted, there is a widget thing with an inputfield that says tweet this (we'll add the url later) you put stuff in a box, it get's a tiny-url and get's pushed to facebook.
I'm trying to figure out what it's called. Does anyone have a clue?
example:
http://www.ted.com/talks/dan_phillips_creative_houses_from_reclaimed_stuff.html
Looks like they are using the service provided by AddThis. Looking at their site, they offer some stock sharing links, but also have an API for creating more advanced ones.
