Is there a way in Apple's iTunesConnect to find out how many downloads all apps have? I get the numbers for our top ten apps in "Sales & Trends", but I can't find the numbers for the other apps.
Thanks!
This is probably what you were looking for: https://appfigures.com
It's an uber awesome, extremely useful app to track your overall app downloads & sales!

I am having difficulty reconciling the app install count from iTunes Connect and Facebook Analytics. I have read other posts that they are different, but in those posts iTunes is always higher. In my case iTunes is LOWER, and never lower by a consistent amount. This is troubling me because, obviously, I make money on the number of downloads. How can I reconcile the two?
Please refer to Apple definition of Installations:
The total number of times your app has been installed on an iOS device with iOS 8 or later. Redownloads on the same device, downloads to multiple devices sharing the same Apple ID, and Family Sharing installations are included. App updates aren’t counted. Totals are based on app users who agree to share their data with you.
App Analytic Guide
The last sentence is makes it very clear:
Totals are based on app users who agree to share their data with you.
So if they did't agree you won't see them in the total count.
Maybe its better to look at the App Units.
I designed an app and want to sell it on Google Play but have some doubts about it and I hope you can help me:
1) Is it possible to limit the quantity of downloads of my app from Google play (i.e: 2.000 downloads)?
2) Is it possible to make a configuration on Google play Developers Console, to offer an annual renewable licence for the customers who buy my app? If so, can you please tell me how to do it?
Thanks in advance.

I don't think this is possible, checked with the Play Developer Console and there's no setting there about it. Checked with the Play Developer API and it doesn't list on any calls there any "total number of downloads".

In-App Billing looks like what you're looking for, a yearly subscription (or how frequent you want it) set for the application usage would be possible.
as for questions 1, im pretty sure this isnt a current feature. as for question 2, you could create a script in the apk that disables everything in the app when a certain in-app purchase runs out until its renewed.
I have recently published my first Mac app onto the Mac App Store, forgive me if this is a stupid question but i can find no place on iTunes Connect that shows the analytics for it, the App Analytics section on iTunes Connect only shows my iOS app? There must be somewhere to see how many units i have sold?
So i contacted apple an there reply was:
App Analytics is available only for iOS developers at this time, and it reports data only from customers using iOS 8 and above. Therefore you will not see data from your Mac app.
If you would like, I can submit feedback on your behalf for a possible future enhancement. If this is something you would like me to do, please reply with a clarification of your request, and I will be happy to send it up for you.
So the short answer is there is nowhere for you to find how many downloads/revenue you have earned. Which is well, shit
In the devCenter I can see how many people had downloaded my app, but I can't see how many of them use my app, daily, weekly, how long in a day etc.
Is there a way to get this information?
Thanks.
It is possible using an analytics framework, but you have to integrate one into your app during development.
There are various analytics frameworks available, such as Google Analytics, PreEmptive Solutions, Bango Analytics, Flurry Analytics, and so on and so forth.
Is going through the Windows Shop within Windows 8 the only way to know about the apps that are currently available (and if an app idea is already taken)? I've seen Windows 8 app links like this one -
http://apps.microsoft.com/webpdp/en-in/app/bigflix/cd3aa73b-e60e-44b6-bbe9-6898050a3502
...but going to the root site throws a "403 - Forbidden: Access is denied" and a search for "Windows 8 Store" doesn't provide any useful results. I guess there will be something after the official Windows 8 launch but is there anything else I'm missing? As a developer, I would love to see a summary listing of apps that shows a brief description, its features and Capabilities used.
Unfortunately for us, Microsoft is not providing any such information regarding the Store apps. All we can do is glean a bit from here and there. Zdnet has mentioned the number of apps, for example.
Have a look here and here
This link in particular maybe of some use because it provides estimated app category breakdown.
I created site http://metrostorescanner.com/ to see what's new in apps for all countries (but you can also use country filter).
I found a file with a site map that you may be able to use for a listing of apps:
http://apps.microsoft.com/webpdp/sitemap/sitemap_1.xml
http://www.greatwindowsapps.com is a searchable directory on the web. It's not the entire Store, the content is filtered to remove poor quality apps. Disclosure: this is my site, so clearly I think that's an advantage :)
http://drunktester.azurewebsites.net/ is the full Store using the Australian content. He published the source code (https://github.com/VikingCode/DrunkStore) so you could set this up for any country if you wished.
Update - It is now possible to search for Windows Store & Windows Phone apps even from non-Windows 8 machines and also view apps by category from the official Microsoft websites.
As #mamata-dalal & #gyurisc have mentioned, there is currently no official Windows 8 app directory.
I came across the website Windows8Apps (though not perfect) that comes close to what I'm looking for.
Currently there is no other place than the Windows 8 Store is the only place, but I am sure soon there will be plenty of sites categorizing these apps.
